Thank you, Phil. This is the second video of yours I've viewed today. I knew there had to be help for those of us using this software. Your presence on UA-cam has made my day!

Great video, Phil, as usual. You could also keep that original border, lesson the density and size, slightly, to make it a zigzag underlay to stitch after the applique tack down stitches. I find this makes an even nicer satin stitch border. Of course, you would have to move the original, resized and reduced density satin stitch, into the second position, too. ;-)

I have a design I took off the collection included on my Pfaff Creative Icon. I put the design on a thumb drive so I could edit it. I put the design in my Premier Plus 2 software. I accomplished removing the unwanted background design and duplicating the image, resizing, and rotating so I now have a cluster of three flowers. The design has a zigzag border but when I use the design as an appliqué, the stitch is not wide enough to provide adequate coverage. The handles of the design are white, how can I make the zigzag wider? I’ve tried everything and no success- I’m sure there’s an easy fix, I just don’t know what it is. I’d greatly appreciate assistance. Thank you

I would delete that border, then add a new appliqué border using the border tab. I would set the satin stitch at least 4 mm wide.

I still use 6D and am trying to decide whether to switch to object-oriented software called Hatch. Seems from watching this video that Premiere+ may have some object-oriented features which are different than 6D which I discern to be stitch oriented. Can you compare and contrast 6D vs Premiere+ embroidery properties regarding stitch vs object oriented software approaches? Thanks.

The digitizing in 6D and PREMIER+ is done in the Create module and is object based. This is done in the Modify module is the equivalent of Stitch Editor+ in 6D and works at the stitch level.

Do you have a video that demonstrates how to use freehand tablet or point applique outlines?

This one I think will show what you are asking.

Can you skip creating the boarder line and just go straight to add applique?

The Border tool has to create a border (that sounded silly.) If you are just trying to add the applique fabric to a design that is already an applique, this video might help.
