I have 14900K, and i lowered my max watt 225w, and undervolt .1 offset. And decided go with air cooler, removed the radiator. While gaming 55 degree average or 60 degree. Normal is now at 40 degree around. No issues yet.
If you have a new unit, just do undervolting from the beggining and lower voltages as much as possible, of course without loosing stability and stock performance.
Its not 100% guarantee ofc if oxidation or other manufacturing defect happens anyways, but keeping it cool and not hammering it with nonsense power limits and voltage may help.
if you undervolt, it is only 40 degree. If you play Hard Games it will be 60 to 70 Degree. So you will be ok. Before it was HOT as 80 Degree. I set it for 225 W. and voltage .1 off set -, TOM's Hardware 253w - is recommended by INTEL.

Great. I just built and entire system around the i9-14700KF. Jeez.
