I dont understand why my Chinese students wont mimic what I show them for example I try to show then how to make the Th sound by putting my tongue on the bottom of my top teeth and making the sound , but they refuse to do it too. I also break words down into syllables but they insist on saying every word as a unit so they keep pronouncing the words wrong. I don't get it. They are adults
