I looked at this place 14 years ago. This place was pretty intact for the most part. I went back to see today and wow it's been pretty trashed. most the Hoist booth has been stolen now too. I am surprised the clocks aka depth clocks are still there. A lot of stuff has been stolen =(
Everything you shot is still there. I was just saying there used to be a lot more stuff there and fully intact when i seen it 14* Years ago. i shot a video of this place in 2012 and it was intact. The booth used to have a really cool green chair like the carpet with some Po$n magazines and such. Cool old place its a shame someone took it. The machines where pretty intact. Thanks for explaining some of the stuff in there.
No, it’s an easy walk. Park on the EB 60 across from the truck escape ramp that is just east of superior. Walk to the escape ramp and along it to the west. There is an old road that goes to the mine area. Maybe a half mile walk in.
COMPUSERVE!!! Awesome.
