Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
I rarely get hit with top waters close to the boat. I usual run a planer and maybe 2 if I have help. Or the other a few feet behind what I think will be visible if I were a fish.
+samiam1150 Thanks!! I appreciate the comment and the subscription! We're working on some more informative videos/fishing test to do as well. Anything in particular you would like to see?
+Reel Hazardous I'm a fresh water fisherman. Walleye and steelhead on Lake Erie. Anything concerning fresh or salt water would be of interest. Outfitting a new boat would appeal to many. Something on electronics would be good, too. GPS, depth sounders, VHF, etc.
Hi, I have a question regarding kunahead lure, what is the best weight of it ? Some peoples says 80 grams, the other says 50 grams....what do you think? Thank you
Hey Francisco! It depends on the bait more than the fish. For example, high speed trolling with artificial lures I use a Mustad 7732 10/0 for the bigger lures. If I’m trolling live bait I would use small number 6 or number 4 treble hooks. You can catch kingfish and wahoo on both setups.
Hello! I live in Brazil and I'm passionate about trolling. Congratulations on the fishing and the videos, I wonder if you in your fishing of wahoo you use steel cobo or you only use floucarbon?
Hey Esau, thanks for watching it videos! I general use multi stand cable for Wahoo but l do habe a few mono rigged lures that have done well and caught a lot of fish. Its just a bigger risk that you will lose an expensive lure but you might get more strikes. You might like the underwater high speed lure video we recently posted. You should check it out.
Should baits such as skirted and naked ballyhoo also hit the surface and go back under the water with a smoke trail, or should they be in the water at all times?
You can rig them both ways. I usually run a ballyhoo with a Alien popping lure in front on an outrigger and then some swimming ballyhoo that stay underwater at other positions.
Those lures look amazing, but can you use them for jigging ?...like ,I dont have a boat soo...will that still work?or is the lure not heavy enough?...amazing video btw
These lures probably wouldn't be good for jigging because they are pretty big. Probably too heavy to really cast. These are generally used for big Dolphin, Wahoo, and Marlin. They have to move fast too. I don't think you could reel them as fast as they need to go too.
We try to vary up the distance so some are further back but part of the reason for the close ones is to make use of the boat waves to give the lures more action. Also, I've had some really big fish hit lures right up by the boat! I think it draws there attention.
Here is one of our latest underwater videos showing how high speed wahoo lures look underwater!

@@ReelHazardous Thanks
great video! new prospective of what is happening with your spread
+keith furman Thanks! I'm going to try to get some new video of some other types of spreads soon as well.
Can you use this on freshwater?
Most of these lures are probably too big for most freshwater fish.

Why are lures for billfish ect trolled closeish to the boat?
We try to vary up the distance so some are further back but part of the reason for the close ones is to make use of the boat waves to give the lures more action. Also, I've had some really big fish hit lures right up by the boat! I think it draws there attention.
greetings from indonesia north kalimantan ..
Awesome, thanks for reaching out from so far away!
Educational
Thanks!
what type of lure use for catching grouper fish
Jagesh Jannardhanan troll a big swim bait....
How fast was the boat going?
8-12 knots or so.
👍🏽🎣
Why not just tow the guy on a planer board the driver then film the lures
At that speed it would rip the divers mask off. Also, it would be really hard to aim with the camera that way.
He might get eaten
It don`t look too good!! Just by walmart trollong plugs you better off its the design of the plug junk!!!!!!
