Doesn't really sound like his drums from the albums. Sounds like any other MixWave library, which isn't a bad thing at all! They sound fucking massive and great, just like the rest of them. I just don't hear Avenged Sevenfold at all in these drums :(
Still bought it though of course.. but yeah, doesn't really sound like Aveneged Sevenfold. Andy Wallace mixing is a bit more organic and laid back, this is more balls to the walls. If you like that then great. I'll try using the raw samples and mix it the Andy Wallace way and see what it sounds like. Mixwave has also improved the velocity layering, which was terrible in their earlier libraries. This is alright. Not great like SSD, Superior or the other big boys, but alright.
Standalone vsts eat up ur CPU space...but u can have 100's of Kontakt instruments without eating up ur cpu space other than the kontakt itself installation space
MixWave Drums are some of the finest drum samples I've ever heard. And I've heard a lot of em. The nice thing about their drum libraries is they give you just enough control over the mix to tailor it to any project you happen to be working on and not so much control that you end up screwing up the whole mix. The one thing I'm really hoping MixWave does in the future is develop these drum libraries into their own stand alone VSTi independent of the Kontakt platform, with a few more added features in terms of the over all functionality of the mixer. That would be stellar. But as it is right now, MixWave have completely knocked it out of the park and over the fence with these drum libraries.
As someone who has been dealing with sampled drums for 40+ years, one thing I know for sure is no predictor of how a sample library will perform is seeing and/or listening to how the drummer plays and sounds. It’s like sampling the individual notes of “Blackie” And thinking “now I can sound like David Gilmour!”
same goes for micing up a kit and recording it though. and you can have 10 drummers play the same groove and they'll each have their own spin on it or "flavor". samples are great for those that don't have the means to record and get good mix. but i get what youre saying.
Typically the way these promo videos work is while you are seeing him playing on a kit, what you are hearing is the midi library. Its not just a live take.
cool drumming and fantastic drum sound
Great products! Keep producing great rock and metal drums! )

sounds like his live drumset with more compression.

Awesome...i love these personalized kits. You guys ROCK.
Amazing as always!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Perfect sound!
DW Kit sound like drums of Christoph Schneider (Rammstein), i like it!
Sounds sick!
It feels weird seeing Brooks playing zildjians since he left zildjian for Istanbul Agop in 2021...
sounds very cool. if it's a midi performance, then color me impressed!
It looks and sounds awesome! Does it come with the 'Humanize' option?
Bought it (unfortunately). The Black Brass snare has a strange, loud and deep hum sound in the room mic. Toms are nice. 5/10 for me.
So, which library do you recommend? EZdrummer? SSD? Or this?
Please tell us, because I am so interested in this VST.
🔥
It will work with any Kontakt Version?
I’m sorry, I need to know. This VST needs Kontakt to work? Or just put it into my daw and VSTi folder and that’s all?
You need kontakt to use it. It runs in the free player though.
This is sick but please just make a standalone VST like Drumforge. I don't want to use Kontakt.
This is exactly why i dont use GGD stuffs😩😩😩
@@worldsanoyster why hate Kontakt? Sure a standalone would be great but Kontakt seems to be fine 95% of time
You don't like kontakt .. that is your problem..not the company problem

Ever heard a sample drum library that sounds like the demo of the guy actually playing drums? Yeah, no, neither have I.
It sounds good, but somehow like it has zero dynamics how much compressed it is.
What would be also a nice feature to if you could add your own sounds into the library to mix them with default sounds!
This is a DAW feature, not a specific midi feature.
@@FartsTasteDelicious thumbed up this comment purely for your name. You're right, they do.
Ezdrummer 3 has this feature (importing user samples) you may wanna check it out
Seems to sound a bit more natural compared to their other libraries imo! Still a bit premixed but yeah!
