Rossini Opera Festival presents the well-known Il viaggio a Reims by Gioacchino Rossini, which is performed every year in a double cast by the young singers of the Accademia Rossiniana "Alberto Zedda". Charles X of France was to be crowned and the jet set of the time stayed at the spa Il Giglio d'Or. Among them the Contessa de Folleville - interpreted by Vittoriana de Amicis - who is very upset at the loss of her luxurious attire.
