They were! My next 6 string is either gonna be a black LP Custom, a vintage white LP Custom like Steve Jones, or a LP Standard Goldtop. My next bass will either be a Rickenbacker 4003, a Dakota Red Fender Vintera, or a Japanese original '50's Precision Bass

Social Distortion is one of my 10 Rock bands of my life of 55 years old . AC/DC , Stones,Beatles , Deep Purple , Led Zeppeling , T.Rex and no ends for the list .
He didn't s isn't he. Went to do me of his shows years back at House of Blues Chicago, was at the bar me and my buddy doing shots of dead Nazis after his phone call he had a few, we had a quick chat and then enjoyed the show. Real cool dude.👍🏾
Ness’ secret is that he hunts down LP Deluxe gibbys with minibuckers. He chucks the minibucker for P90s. He says he learned that trick from Neil Young’s guitar tech.
I have Les Pauls galore in my collection and recently purchased the Standard 60's in bourbon burst but for some reason, my 'go to' guitar to this day is still my 2006 Explorer in natural. It came with gold hardware and gold screw 496r/500t pickups which at this point, I put those 2 pickups in ALL my Gibson guitars. And in some of my BC Rich guitars also. I think I just prefer the ceramics. Anyone know why this model has the gold hardware vs the typical chrome???
