I was born and raised in bagheria I'm going back in 2 days time see my family can't wait .
Great Sicily!
I'm born and raised in Bagheria, and now i live in USA
I recently discovered this is my great grandfather's place of birth. He left sometime around 1909 to come to NYC. I would like to visit now that I know where he is from. Most of my family is from Sciacca, another city I want to visit.
This is really beautiful.
Thank you Viv!
I was there 12 years ago. How I wish I could go back soon. While I wait, I will virtually enjoy Sicily with your videos. Keep them coming. Grazie.
Another great travel video. I enjoy looking at the market scenes, with the array of fruits and veggies, as much as I do the wonderful architecture. Grazie!
Thank you Manny!
Love it
Thank you !
Alfred and Eszter have provided us with another wonderful glimpse of Sicily! They constantly give us the opportunity to learn about this great island!
What a nice city and worth a visit. Never knew there were so many villa's to visit!
Hi guys what a Stunning city the architecture is spectacular. Great little minii market fantastic looking fresh produce everything you need for a feast. Love this video thank you for sharing
Great video. Another place to visit when we can travel again.
This is my parents hometown! I've been there several times in my younger years but never really learned the history about the churches and castles. It's interesting that the names of the churches and castles that are mentioned in the video I can hear/say in the Sicilian dialect, as I learned them. When we visited, it was mostly to spend time with my grandparents, my mom's family, who still all live in Bagheria today. Looking forward to visiting in the next few years with my sons.
Welcome to our channel! We have many other videos from Sicily . How great you will be sharing Sicily with your sons :)
We stayed in Bagheria on our first trip I could see a beautiful Villa nearby. Our view was so wonderful on a clear day we saw the mountains to Cefalu` We didnt venture too far in town and were always on the go... I see I missed so much will definitely return !
Thank you, You, Me, and Sicily!!! I love the video and am thrilled to see and learn more about Bagheria! My great-grandfather, Giuseppe Rizzo, emigrated from Bagheria in the early 1900s and now my birth in the US is registered there when I got my Italian citizenship. So grateful for this and can’t wait to see more videos of all the beautiful places of Sicily! ❤️ Jennifer @ Sicilian Family Tree
