Seeing these reminds me of my very first build which was pretty much just a 3x2 box, and a flat roof so I could place about 100 turrets on top to defend all my corn lmao!! 🤣
You just jumped across my feed on UA-cam LOL anyways I think a lot of these, which I'm sure you will agree with, are either new players or ones that don't care. I've come across a lot of people who just play the game, but they don't like to build at all or can't figure it out. I love building myself but I don't do a heck of a lot of merging. Like I'm not crazy about it. I'll do what's necessary so maybe if someone comes to my Camp they wouldn't like my Camp because I don't have a lot of merging and fancy stuff in it. Love the video. 🎉
@@babygrizwold well thank you, right from the start ☺️ and yes, I agree, that's exactly what could be happening but that's why I don't include anyone's name because I'm not here to attack anyone, just setting an example for what could be done better. I love finding amazing camps and that's my whole goal but I also want to use this platform to encourage someone that might not think they can do it to actually make the best camp possible. No hate is ever felt here unless it's the plastic walls lol
I couldnt agree more about the water thing, but I get it for the daily caps. Something that may be a thing.... I know there are very few really good places to put a camp that wont be prevented by others. So it may be a thing that a crappy location floater doesnt get blocked as much. Ive thought about it....
Already subbed before, but showing some WOTW love, too! {I still haven't found any love for the "plastic wall" either, but I'm always open to suggestions.)
The functionality of the C.A.M.P. is what matters to me. In my opinion, a bad camp, is one in which I have to spend 10 mins finding the vendor, or the vendor is hidden inside the shelter. P.S. People farm water as currency for the NPC vendors.
Bad camps are everywhere in Appalachia, even the so called "best builds" are really bad 95% of the time... But in their defence we've just discovered that the best builds are not exact copies of our camps either... Alot of builders use items in their broken state for cosmetic reasons right, well it turns out there's a code in the game that will fix everything in you camp and make it indestructible when you submit your camp for best builds. 👍🏼😎
@@Lordoftheapes79 Exactly. I mostly make clean camps, but I still use broken items all the time. I use broken glass walls in my sliding doors and I use the burned barren elm trees to bulldoze those pesky brambles that keep popping up trough the foundations... my best builds now have closed off sliding doors and elm trees in the middle of my driveways 🤣
I think some people will CAMP too close to a spawn point early on, so they think the attacks are constant. Other just want a high vantage point to take in the scenery and couldn't care less about the aesthetics of their CAMP.
@@Lordoftheapes79 yeah, I can see that being the reason and I understand it but I also wish they did care about the aesthetics because I love seeing a bunch of cool camps on one server lol
The water is about draining vendor caps. Rather than looting things, people will sell massive amounts of water to vendors. There's also a subset of players that don't want to be bothered with using food buffs(due to the nature of collecting materials) and will exclusively use purified water to stay hydrated and food that doesn't spoil(mostly Pemmican atm due to the collector on the last scoreboard).
@@SarahStorm I don't think it's just the men, I've seen women who build the same it's just about who cares and who doesn't, which is also fine, I guess some people are more into doing other things with the game...but I will say I've also seen men build amazing things, you can find some on UA-cam
Adhesive camp needs water and lots of veggies. Mine floats too above the lil lake near charleston station. It's there so i can produce adhesive, not to please the aesthetic standards of other players... sorry.
Wolfy you just became my new favorite UA-camr hahaha. Im dead.
@@silverback-wd3md lol I don't know what to really say but thank you ☺️🤣
For a lot of players water is a really easy and fast way to get the daily caps from venders😊
@@Z00m1e3 ohhh ok yeah I don't know why I didn't think of that, thanks 😊
Np I have lots of steal so I tend to just craft and sell throwing knives but I have friends that use water 😊

Facts 👏
You're lazy. Said it. You can do both at once, so you are just lazy. Sorry man.😢

I mean, that should have been expected. Although, there should be an option to submit a CAMP in it's broken state.

water = caps
with the right perks and boosts a purified water is like 6 caps... for free.. the more the better!

About water farming... purified water = cutting fluid = fuel.
That's a lot of water. :)

I try to have my camps themed and have my vendor easy to find along with my shelter
You farm water so that you can easily max out the venders caps in one run
Find my camp, you'll hate it, but it works for me.
If you want to see me build, check me on Conan Exiles
