Little trick when bleeding brakes, put the rubber line into a clear plastic bottle and keep submerged in the fluid that bleeds out so you can watch for air bubbles when you open the bleeder valve

looking good. Considering the location of that leak and the cover that by the looks of it covers the visual aspect of it. Why not sand the cracked area and a nice even coat of JB Weld and just mask the surrounding areas and paint it shiny black once it dries. Put the cover/shield back on it and good to go.
You should use clear tubing to make sure that there's no air in the brake calipers. But what I would do about bleeding the brakes is gravity bleed them first, then use clear tubing to help with visual on air bubbles. When you were putting on the rear rotors, it looked like the brake shoes were too far expanded out. Should only have a moderate resistance when they're rotating.
Did you try to call the place that did the zinc coating for you to see if they can find the 2 alignment bolt for you? They are a pretty unique design in the world of bolts. I would think they might notice them if thy are just laying around in there shop.
