Episode 2 will be out on Sunday besties 👀! Make sure you sub and turn on the notification bell 🛎 !!
I did
Hi Miki ! I wanted to ask if your podcast is on Spotify already? Would love to listen to you and Kev!!
I bought mine at 31, and sometimes I regret it and sometimes I don’t! Almost 5 years later and still not sure if I did the right thing! I do love it though! Big and cosy in north England near Scotland, less than 2 hours from Edinburgh 🥰, near the sea with seagulls singing all day long!
Why do you regret tho?
Bought my house at 25 and still live here 30 years later (it's by the beach). Congratulations! Remember things break
Edit: My father always said he never had a problem affording the house. It was the utilities, trash cans, gutters, landscaping, etc., that were issues.
Also living the Zojirushi lifestyle! Somehow I ended up with 2 rice cookers, but the water boiler, bread maker, bento boxes, and thermos are also great ;).
Kevin sounds like the people I watch on House Hunters on HGTV not liking the stairs right when you walk in the house. Great vlog as always 👍🏾👏🏾🤗. Congratulations to you guys can’t wait to see next vlog on Sunday from the preview the house looks beautiful 😍❤️.
They say that ppl don’t like it because soon as money flows n money flows out… A real or tale. But ppl really believe it…. BTW i love HH and HGTV
I recommend you take your time finding a house. Don’t rush into it since a house is a huge investment and you don’t want to regret buying something you’re not fully happy with
I bought a condo last year (first time home buyer). Learned the hard way. Don't bid on the first house you look at and/or visit. Spend at least a month looking. New listings are posted daily. Look at different areas. If there are any reservations (dislikes), it's not the house you should buy (you shouldn't have to convince yourself you should buy it). When making your budget, don't forget all the bills that go along with getting a house (regular bills, down payment, mortgage payment, inspection costs, utilities, HOA fees, insurance, maintenance, property tax, closing costs, etc).
Your videos are just so refreshing❤️
I'am a nursing student and sometimes it's so difficult that I feel like giving up....but while watching you and your videos it gives such a positive impact that makes me feel okay, it's great to see how you enjoy your life and your work! Its so motivating... and lots of love💙
Perseverance is a key ingredient when making a purchase of your first new home. It is a wonderful experience watching your video on getting tips & advice of investing on your first home, although I am not in a position to do so right now. I hope both of you will eventually get a new home in the future, once you guys get a better career than your current one. 🙂
Well! I'm glad you learned from this experience, and listening to your gut feeling, you got this!
Congrats guys!! I bought a condo at 26, but my now husband and I are buying our first home together at 28/33. We close on Thursday ^.^ it will be the best. This may be our forever, we shall see I just don't wanna be paying on a house when I'm past 60 🤣🤣
kevin was so passionate about how he didn't like the house hahahaha yes Kevs, we get it 🤣
I just kept staring at the concealer on Miki's nose hoping she'll blend it 😅
I observed it after you said 😂😂
"No bathroom on the first floor" is so annoying! For some reason Seattle really likes these kinds of layouts..
dude. I agree with Kevin as he talks about the house he really didn't like. haha he had valid, practical reasons XD
I bought my 1st house at age of 21 and the 2nd house at 30. Owning a house is the best thing ever better than rent. It is an investment :)
Thanks Miki and Kevin for sharing your experience!
I am a new subscriber, i am so inspired by their relationship. I want to be a pedia someday but I am afraid that I cannot survive it. But I am inspired by them💕. With God's grace and help I know I can do anything with Him😇
I love you guys! Your journey is truly a blessing. Love from Jamaica🇯🇲
Jamaica 🇯🇲 wooooo
I wont buy a house in a hoa. As i wont deal with and put up with all that. Stripping away that feeling of actually owning a home. If i want someone breathing down my kneck always i can just rent an apartment.
Well it helps makes the neighborhood look nice, and in some neighborhoods there’s a pool/park that you lay for with the hoa
@@hannahkirkpatrick5442 rather have my own private pool. Also we have the choice to chose to buy a house in a nice neighborhood or not. So all the benefits for the most part can be achieved without a HOA and without all the negatives they bring.
Congratulations!
Can you talk about how to save when you have lots of debt? It seems impossible to save for a house with so much debt payment every month 😭
As someone who bought a house in the seattle area, i can confirm that buying now is a smart move as apr is low now and prices for houses are increasing lol. Look into new homeowner programs as well. You can get money for increasing the energy efficiency of the house.
I would never, never, never, never buy a home that anything to do with a HOA..They will control your home and life in that home. Never, never, never.
I’m sorry but Kevin is on point with the Feng shui hahaha 🤣
2:24 I live in Ontario, Canada and my mom bought a unit in a historical home (in a city) for us, we own it, but our monthly taxes are 900 and she's on the board for the housing corporation. The house needs a new roof, driveway and lots of renos
Hahahaha Kev is SO.WORKED.UP. This is the first time I heard him speak as fast as Miki 😆😆😆
It’s crazy market at Seattle. My house I bought is more than double now since I bought in 2016…
When is Kevin gonna propose Miki? She is wife material
I'm obsessed with your contents Miki! Can't wait for you to have your own podcast channel!!
Kevin is right, you have to trust 5000yo Feng Shui shit, 😂
I close Monday and these last 2 months omg. This process is crazy
Great decision! I hate having HOA! Ur right it does cost too much and u have so many do’s and dont’s that it makes u feel like u don’t even own ur own home! Wen I purchased my house there wasn’t HOA. We were the second family to buy in the development. HOA came after I bought the house. Oh yeah they charged me 300$ cause my husky got loose one day. Lol
HOA is a trip!! Avoid it if possible!
oof. I think it was a good call to not purchase that HOA home. The fees would not be a fit for everyone else that would be interested in buying it off you. HOA fees feel like a 'monthly rent'.
Follow you heart! Dream house may seem like the best way to go. A house is a big investment well worth it.🥳🎉🥂🍾
Kevin has good points. A good house needs to have good feng shui, and a bathroom on the first floor is important !! You ever driving home and need to use the bathroom so bad you can’t wait to bust through the doors and let it out. If I had to climb the stairs to use the bathroom might just piss or sht myself so lol
Can't wait to see the house updates 💕
Japanese rice cooker is worth everything!!! It also sings fyi
We need to come to Miki if we ever buy a house. She has the most Smart ass decisions and we need to suck on Miki's smartness. I expect you to shower More Practical Life Tips Now and Then 😂.
How can one buy a house at 24? Investment? Starting a business?
Aw i love your energy hahahah
Ohh I don't know Miki.. I definitely would want at least a half bath on the first floor too lol
good luck to you both
Awesome vlog, brought back memories when I was house shopping 😊
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Obviously KEVIN is more intelligent. Always listen to him. 😎
Are you planning on permantely living in Seattle? Because unless you plan staying there for 5 years, it might be best idea.
You two are lovely 🥺🤧💕
I was more surprised to find out you guys are 24 years old over buying a house😅
Rule #1: Stay away from HOA
HOA is a scam. Should be illegal tbh.
Waiting for the ep2 😊
High HOA fees have reason. Maybe the place is ultra nice and that costs more money to maintain that level of standard.
THANK YOU FOR THE VLOGS, MY FAV PART OF UR CHANNEL
Congrats on finding a place at the end!!!🍾🎊 So excited for you guys💕 Kev’s reasoning for that prior house tho😂
Miki Rai my name is Jessica Walker and I'm a nursing student I took counseling 12 in the Fall term of 2021 and my final grade is a B so I have a long long way to go. I will be moving onto a 1 bedroom apartment it is being build form the ground they are working on the inside so I'm in project room key hotel right now.
Very nice video, greetings from your fan in Argentina!!
good luck on the house! cha chinggggg
does that mean planning to stay in seattle if getting a house there?
kevin is hilarious
Had to like before i even watched 😄
great vlog, love it :)
I’m with Kevin on this one
I feel like kevin is right about the 2nd house lol. bathroom on the 2nd floor and having another unit hastily attached to the first one sounds like the house looked like putting lipstick on a pig
1:24 never would want to live in a HOA, way to many restrictions depending on the people in charge. 😓
Listen to Doc Kevin, a chinese feng shui expert 😂 Cutiessss🥺
Yes marketability is one of the most important factors
I would never buy a single family house period, it’s expensive , and a waste of money. I would buy an apt complex instead and u get the cash flow every month plus u can pass that property and cash flow for the next generation. It will also leads you to financial freedom without working a job for 30-40 years.
Watching the both of you made me feel so relaxed haha it feels like there’s no dead air when talking with you💙 and you guys are really both fun and so inspiring to watch🥰
My fav youtuber of all time. Watching the vids makes my day fly by. Thank u for helping people also for uploading vids that makes me really happy. :)
congrats MIKI (almost)
Oeemgeeee, my fave vlogger! Been waiting for a new vlog for ages😂 thank you for uploading! ❤️
We just need the market in Seattle to go down. Maybe if enough people keep leaving.
My zojirushi rice cooker sings when it’s done too 😅
Lol it’s cute but what Kevin said makes sense for long term
I couldn't help but to look at the guitar in the background. Please play something in the next video.
Early for the first time 😁. Like your videos
i love you, hope u like this🥺💖
❤️❤️❤️ (just love love love)
Where are you from
Your pup is also sweet 🥺 what breed(s) is it?
I’ve been wanting to get a house but my fiancé isn’t ready for that commitment (job changes/ traveling). I feel like I have a good idea of what kinda house I want though. Haha 😂 I think Im a bit picky though
" ya, but I like it":
The fact that YOU were happy with this house is not enough. You BOTH need to be happy about it. The world does not solely revolve around what the girlfriend wants.
HOA means you dont really own your property
Your ear rings are beautiful. I will buy
Same as yours.
I know for sure I won’t buy a house in America. I’ll just live with my parents in their house . I don’t think it’s worth it. I’d rather save that money or buy land in my country. In America you even have to pay house taxes . SICKKKK and the land your house stands on is not even your own land , it’s more like your house is standing on someone else’s land that was stolen from the natives 🤢🤢🤢🤢
Stolen from the natives? Down through history people have fought to take over land & expand or to conquer other tribes/people. Not just white Europeans. Has happened between Native American tribes, Africans and Europeans. Look at WW1 AND WW2. And I own the land under my house.
Yasssss guuuurl! 👏👏👏
Hey I'm your Indian fan🌼😊 please say hello 👋
i bought mine with cash at 23...BIG DEAL
So sweet couple
Cuteee videos
Wait..... y'all are 24??? Wtf?? Haha you guys seem older. I thought 27. Because you guys are mature.
No, don’t live in an HOA. Red flags 🚩🚩🚩🚩
You guys are probably renting for 2500-3000 a month in two years that’s 60-72000 dollars down the drain don’t wait to long
Pretty sure HOA's are just a bunch of grumpy people who love to complain about stuff.
😂😂😂
Lol 7:47
foundation on your nose :)
Ehre
Kevin ur bf or husband.................????
R u Nepali ?

@@SimonaKhan97 okii 🤣

You talk too much I can’t watch you for more than 5 mins
The most irritating and annoying couple on UA-cam.
Wow ur making a big deal about buying a house at 24? My Son bought at 24 and I didn't let the world know, really? Housing market hasn't slowed down and you probably wouldn't over bid 50,000.
Its called content for her UA-cam channel boom mind blowing right?
She didn’t make it a big deal. She’s telling people what the video is about. Do you want her to name the video “Human being on planet earth doing an activity with another human being”
bae who hurt you 🥺🥺🥺
now the whole world knows you are making a big deal about your son buying a house at 24 and over bid 50K wow
Why are you coming for her saying she's making a big deal about being a house at 24 .... your making a big deal about your son buying a house at 24 may be your just jelly you could not do that
