Jenny Nicolson was very right about this song. It slaps!
That's the only reason i looked this song up because of Jenny Nicholson. This song does SLAP HARD, it honestly TRANSPORTS me to THE MYSTERIOUS BEYOND
This song was already a part of my childhood, but it was very kind of Jenna to remind me of how truly awesome it is. No, really - I'd forgotten all about the LBT sequels until her video popped up on my feed, and it's so nice to be transported back to simpler times.
I saw the movie this song was from once when I was a kid because it was on TV. This song was all that stuck with me, and eventually it became just something in the back of my head.
Then Jenny Nicholson did her Land Before Time video, and I just HAD to look it up. Yeah, it's stuck in here again now.

That's my favorite part omg it makes me tear up for some strange reason.
From back when i was a kid, and didn't understand what the beam of light meant at the end ... to now realizing the two were aliens and when they sing about "the mysterious beyond" they don't even mean the place outside the great valley, they sing about space, about the universe ... wow!
Recently I started thinking they’re actually time travellers disguised and wanting to find out about dinosaur life especially when he says “you’ve got quite a sharp mind little foot, advanced for your species- I mean some one of your age” and then I started thinking maybe the stone of cold fire is the time machine they came on but maybe that’s wrong
@@theyluvboots1 The time traveler would also have to be a shape shifter as well. Even if they were a time traveler they would have to find some way to not only disguise themselves but to also be able to communicate with the dinosaurs.
Or traveling in other planets and disguise themselves as an animal that lives there and like the stegosaurus said they ask questions to know how they believe life works here so that they can tell them that there a lot of things to learn but not telling them to much

This was my theme song as a child and now it is me: always trying to discover new things and look into things I don't know and always asking questions about the things we've never done and places we've never been.

This is actually canonical ! I kid you not ! I remember having seen an episode from the land before time TV series when I was yong where Céra and her father sing about their beliefs. The song is called "My reality" or "Ma réalité" for any French speaker out there.
I've looked up the lyrics and here's an extract :

So yeah there you have it ladies and gentlemen ! Both Céra and her father are officially and canonically flat earthers ! No need to thank me :)
@Mullerornis A stubborn contrarian? Wow, you really didn't go past grade school understanding of those characters did you. Cera's portrayed as a child who struggles to overcome the influence of the bigoted and backwards beliefs of her father and her species' culture as she tries to connect with a new group of friends from completely different backgrounds to hers. To boil that down to being "consistently portrayed as a stubborn contrarian" is an insult to the effort put into making her a relatable example for children with the same struggles, as well as to the anti-racist and pro-science message that her character was used to put forward. Without two sides you don't have a debate, you have an echo chamber, and Cera serves a very important role in the story in this capacity as the writers use her to play devil's advocate without having the other characters demonise or condemn her for the beliefs she was brought up with, rather giving her the space to grow and learn and thus the audience an opportunity to do so through her eyes.
Nothing wrong with questioning everything.

I only watched the first five when I was a kid. I just now started to continue the franchise. And this is the first song that I like so far. Has the same tone and emotional feeling the songs in the first five movies had
That's awesome! Glad I'm not the only adult who still likes these movies. As far as the ones after the fifth one, I think the seventh one is the last good one. But that's just my opinion.

I also agree. I'm 32 and I love The Land Before Time! The 1st one was phenomenal! As far as the sequels goes, I liked 2-7. 8 was meh for me and I didn't bother with the rest of the movies or the TV series. To me, the 7th one was the final one because I feel like it ended on that note, wondering what's beyond the mysterious beyond.

@sqishpocket channelgalora Maybe that is what they are, they could be alien dinosaurs from other planets that are more advanced and more civilized then Earth's dinosaurs. Ever played the Star Fox video game where there was literally an entire Universe with planets that had dinosaurs that were advanced in technology (they could be from planets similar to those). These two might be travelers who go to other planets where dinosaurs exists in order to study and observe them.

Now that I'm older I understand Cera. She was painted as unreasonable for not being swayed towards unfounded sentiments, but she wanted proof. People refer to her in this song as if she's an icon of the religious when she's the only one not led by blind faith.
I remember my very Evangelical parents hated this song in particular. I always wondered why as a kid. Now as an adult and an atheist, I'm pretty sure it was Cera's line about "not believing til they show it all, I trust what my eyes can see" was what got them antsy. LOL

Love the flow of the music and singing all the way up to when Cera finishes singing, but once Littlefoot starts singing, it loses that excellent mysterious flow it had at the beginning, and it just lost it's catchiness.

Oh, & if there's ever something beyond the mysterious beyond, then that would be a parallel universe that's similar to the universe the characters are in, but with a few differences that make it have an uncanny valley feel.

out of the land before time movies outside of the first 1 this is one of the better ones its not one of these there is danger there adults do nothing and the kids save the day the end its about finding out the truth when no one else would and pterano and his gang are not like the other antagonists 1 wants to do good and be a good leader but has flaws saying there mistakes the other two want power i know thats overused for villains but in the land before time its not i dont want to hear it sucks because there is no blood blood does not make everything better if thats the case then pokemon sucks and just because the movies are not as good as the first one does not make them bad aside from number 13 that one is a piece of shit i want one hour of my life back for watching it number 13 is the sonic 2006 of the land before time both also almost killed both sonic and the land before time whats sad is sonic 2006 had potential to be awesome but they ruined it by rushing it for the holidays and not wanting next year i dont think its as bad as people say but its still a bad game glitches everywhere the gameplay sucked i hate the sliver boss the voice acting was crap the sound art and story are good it has good things about it its playable if you can overlook its many flaws that being said i dont think its the worst sonic game sonic labyrinth sonic boom are way worse but the worst is sonic genesis gba when you make superman 64 have less glitches you know its bad dear lord AVGN needs to review that game

I don't like when female rainbow face says "Well, that would be telling. Wouldn't it? Still, keep asking questions. It sharpens the mind." You can't go way Beyond Mysterious it's impossible nothing is Mysterious to go Beyond.
The Mysterious Beyond is what the characters call the land that is outside their home valley. There is even a Great Wall between them and the Mysterious Beyond, protecting them from it's unseen dangers. So, going "beyond the Mysterious Beyond" is like the phrase "going off the edge of the map." It's asking questions about things we don't have evidence of and wondering about the unknown.
