@Finesso Bro everyone looks the same, nobody's different. All these people wear the same sneakers, same tops and bottoms, all of them follow anything. You might think you're unique, but you're just gonna look the same just like everyone else because they all think they're special. I rather wear classic essentials and to be done with my wardrobe, than to be following every single hype or trend or whatever is popular for the moment only to continue buying more and more, wasting money, for the delusional pursuit of looking unique only to look the same as any other "Hypebeast" right next to them. Anyways men shouldn't be thinking about clothing all the time anyways, what's popular, or what's trending anyways, or have a bunch of clothes. Leave that to the ladies. Men shouldn't obsess over clothing, we don't need a big wardrobe also, we're men.

I think an important detail to note is that fast fashion is not synonymous with low prices. Fast fashion is a practice which has the potential to be used by any brand not just shien. Designer doesn’t necessarily mean less wasteful so it’s important to keep that in mind.

I’m so glad I grew out of this phase. What worked out for me was to just get the essential items (a variety of different colored Gildan hoodies, plain sweatpants, plain shorts, plain T-shirts, 1 blue jeans and 1 black jeans) and just keep it that way until they’ve been worn out. It also makes it easier to style your sneakers since most of the outfit is already simple instead of trying so hard to pop out.

I finally started liking my closet when I invested more in basics instead of trendy or "fun" pieces. Finally it is easy to get dressed. Plus, I found I tend to like wearing simple clothing the best anyway. It also saves a ton of money to just stop buying clothes. You'd be shocked at how quickly even the "cheap" purchases add up. Often times I feel the need to constantly upgrade what I have, advance onto something new or different, or sometimes feel tempted to buy some things out of the potential to make content. It’s the golden handcuffs of content creation. But all in all, regardless of what I end up buying the exploration of styles and the sheer amount of product contributes to a versatile wardrobe. I think culture has a lot of influence in the way we consume things as well. I never really understood why we needed to change into pajamas when going to bed. As an adult I have repurposed a lot of my old worn out t-shirts and shorts as something I wear when I am at home which includes when I sleep. If I am scheduled to work at home the next day or decide not to go out during the weekend. I will just wear a worn out shirt and shorts after taking a shower at night, sleep with it and wake up the next day wearing it until the end of the day. Despite this I still have a lot of clothes but I do try to categorize it to maximize its use and perhaps curb any additional spending on clothes. My main categories are house wear, casual weekend or going out wear and professional attire for work.
