Hi Alan this was great. I had a list of videos to catch up on after we returned from camping last week but lost the list and realised when you uploaded this morning the trailer, that I hadn't watched it ! So good and was funny to hear about the couple with the brolley up there in 30 mile am hour winds that you said made you feel like a train had hit you ! Nice that you had the place to yourself apart from them. That was a beautiful place to hike and I'm glad you made it finally . Nice painted pebble at the summit :) Really enjoyed that thanks. Have a great weekend :) ~ Anna
thanks Anna and know worries im always missing and watching peoples vids late, its hard work to keep up tbh, yeah the forecast wasn't good but nowhere near the limit and after 3 cancelled attempts I though **** it !!! glad I did now too, hope you had a good time camping guys - Alan Team54
Hiya mate no worries , the kayak team showed up and gave support so that’s awsome, on a clear day it’s absolutely amazing, hopefully when I’m next in the area I’ll get a decent day ❤️
Hello my friend. This is more than just a video, you put love and passion into it. Great job! Thanks for sharing this video! Always believe in yourself and keep doing what you love, good luck 👍💔🌾🌾🌾
Ohhh I like the music.. please be careful hiking alone, and the weather not good, not safe for you.. the view is beautiful.. the editing I want to learn that hehe.. it's another great video.. always stay safe
Hey shie ❤️❤️ I thought I’d throw some extra beats per minute in on this video 😂 I have to hike alone because I have no friends , no it was after work and I was in Scotland The weather wasn’t to bad, when the wind starts hitting 60mph then it gets dangerous but I have all hand don’t worry .. thanks you dropping in to watch mate ❤️
Really windy up there.. and the fog really rolled in that your visibility was quite low. But wow.. I admire your endurance to do this hike.. really inspiring. But looks like the weather improved later.. I love the views of the lake from the mountains with the sun peeking out. And your drone shots are amazing. Thanks for taking us along.
Hey Grace, hope youre well mate, I think im a bit weird but I actually enjoy the bad weather, unfortunately it was too windy to have the drone out to much but at least I got it out once, thanks for your continued support big love - Alan Team54
Ah love the green, beautiful colours in that forest drive, it looks you got a healthy rain on the way, but as we say, you're not made of sugar to melt, are you, so it should work :D Those colors are absolutely stunning, mate, really great capture! What a view on the way up, I'm still tring to find my jaw somewhere on the ground... just wooooow.... BTW, good on you to pick that bottle up! I would do the same, we should not leave the litter around!
Morning turtle 🐢 Thanks for watching mate, I know you’ve been busy and it’s a nightmare trying to catch up, so it’s appreciated! The views that I got we’re amazing, this area of Scotland is stunning so it’s a shame you couldn’t see much from the summit ! I always pick litter up if I see it and just pop it in my bag .. otherwise that plastic bottle would sit up there for years Catch you soon mate ❤️
Hiya mate, I think im a bit weird but I really enjoy the bad weather, cheers for dropping in and taking the time to watch and comment mate its really appreciated - Alan Team54
Brilliant place. Haven't done Lomond in ages. If you're lucky enough to get up there on a nice day it's breathtaking. I personally prefer lousy weather. You end up with the mountain to yourself. You're meeting with the unprepared couple, it reminds me of a few years back. I went up The Cobbler in horrendous weather. Came over the final section and had trouble standing due to the wind. Didn't hang around and started heading down. Met a family heading up who looked like a typical mum, dad and two kids. None prepared for the mountains. The dad asked me "Which one is the cobbler?" Just politely suggested then head back... they plodded along continuing up. I waited at a sheltered spot down the trail until I could see them returning. Think they got about another 10 mins up the trail before common sense kicked in lol.
Morning Urbexy, I’m 100% with you on that, give me lousy weather and no people over nice weather and having to deal with people anyday of the week, I think some people just under estimate what the mountains can throw at you if they decide to The couple I was dealing with hadn’t even checked the forecast, they was planning to jump in their car and drive upto fort William to do Ben Nevis the next day, Told them the winds were gunna be at least 15mph stronger and they really didn’t have any gear .. so advised them to stay off the big peaks, not sure if they listened though Nice one for your comment mate and the cobbler is on my list to do, I’m working that way on Thursday so hopefully get it done Thursday night - cheers Alan team54 🥾⛰❤️
Hi Alan, like you love when the clouds come and go it enhances the views and wonderful views they were, mary poppins LOL, can remember on st sunday crag couldnt see a thing then they parted to reveal the views love it, anyway love the attitude to get to the summit whatever the weather cheers nigel

Hey Simon, cheers mate, others a fun one this one, wasn’t sure how the footage would be but it turned out alright in the end When’s your next one coming ?? Cheers pal 👍
Hello, Allan. Bad weather or not, this is a beautiful trail, especially the panoramic views overlooking the lake. I love the long slow reveal shot at 4:00. Those are mean awesome-looking clouds! Good stuff man 🙌

Hi and thanks, 54 Degrees North for sharing. I can see and feel you are really determined to climb up to Ben Lomond that day@1:26 and @9:11. Nice split screen!!! May I ask you why there is a gate on the hiking trail@3:15? Incredible drone footage as I mentioned during the premiere@3:57. Wowowowow...very creative@4:54!!! I'm going to be blown away from these gusty winds@6:17.💨💨💨RIP@10:01 Reward@11:00! No, your reward will be the view from the summit!!! The weather is driving me nuts at the moment, it promised us a light shown 2 hours ago and it is still hammering down now😡. Never been up Bern Loman but always wanted too - not in that weather mind but when the weather broke, the views were awesome! Looked a real nice path to follow mind but dam shame about the mist at the top and defo not brolly weather! Man that was sad seeing that memorial to that young lad, heart-breaking but good to see e will always be remembered and an inspiration to other hikers! I think you made the right call on going back down the way you went up and good to see you got some great views on the way down. Well done Al, cheers Alan
Hiya mate, tell me about it, trying to plan hikes is a nightmare .. I’m at the stage now where I’m just going, whatever the weather if I’ve got to abort mission snd turn back before reaching that trig then so be it With it being the most southern Munro I’ve had it planned in as and when I’ve been working in Scotland but the weather has caused me to cancel it, you should definitely give it’s a go, nice path most the way with only a couple of steep sections , a tiny bit of scrambling right near the summit but that’s it Yeah it was sad to see but what a lovely place to put a memorial ❤️ The views normally from that area are some of the best in the uk so hopefully if you do go you get better weather than me, Thanks for watching mate and taking the time to comment - Alan team54 ⛰🥾❤️
Hi Alan; watching this movie reminded me of many trips I have had in bad weather up to some inspiring peak. Of course it is better when the weather is nice; but sometimes we push our self to reach the summit come sun or wind or clouds high up! You looked wet at your highest point; so I guess it did good to get down to your camp later for hot food and a drink:) All the best, Ant
Hi Ant, I quite like the bad weather tbh, but yeah sometimes there’s a decision to make , and I think I was right to push on this time It was actually a cheeky after work hike. So I had a 4 hour drive home after I finished .. quick change of clothes and I hit the road. Thanks for the commevt mate ❤️
@@54DegreesNorth Safety is important and wisdom is to be cautious in the mountains. This season in Norway has already killed a number of hikers due to accidents in bad weather; but in more demanding terrain than what you hiked. So I think I would have done the same as you based on what I see and how the map describe the place:)

Hi Alan, how’s it going? Loving the catchy dance music, got my toes tapping! Despite the weather, you managed to capture some great footage and great views of the landscape. I hope your next adventure will be a bit drier and clearer. 😀 I personally would never take a brolly up a mountain or somewhere hilly, it’s just a bit daft. Xx

I enjoyed your video, Alan. I hope to hike Ben Lomond late August or early September. I am nervous because I have had numerous falls and fractures. Always coming down. Consequently I really dislike descents. Are there any exceptionally steep bits or scrambles on Ben Lomond? I hill walk in Shropshire on The Wrekin, The Lawley and Caer Carodoc and would imagine Ben Lomond is quite a bit steeper.
Hiya Tommy, first of all thanks for watching, I don’t remember and parts where I was nervous under foot, I know what you mean S once you’ve slipped a couple of times you loose your confidence… I’m the same on wet rock now, As long as you go the route I went up abd down the same route and not the Ptarmigan ridge you’ll be ok Parking was £5 cash only Hope that helps and thanks again for watching

Hey pa , I hope you’ve had a great day off work, I really enjoyed this one the weather was challenging but made it so much more fun ❤️
Re-watched this morning because it is so epic. loving the route on the way up to Ben Lomond. so picturesque and gorgeous, even in the rain. Infact i think it looks better! Love the drone shots of you walking up to the munro! Yes Alan, loving the enthusiasm and the positivity! You're so awesome, thank you for creating this, you manage to inspire us all the time with your videos! x
Thanks pinned, I’m rewatching everybody’s from last night as well lol I was there but a bit preoccupied with getting my stuff ready for Scotland etc … that’s why I’ve not dropped a comment yet, I’ve got you and watto still to go
Thanks for the great comment , happy you enjoyed it. Definitely gives me the enthusiasm to keep going … can’t wait to see what you do up here … I’m just on my way to Aberdeen so just passing Dunnottar castle at Stonehaven .. this one is a beaut 🏰 ❤️
an awesome hiking through that beautiful place. a good body muscle exercise. great sharing 👍 greetings and watching from Spain
Hey 👋, yeeah definitely a good work out, I felt it the next morning, plus I had a 4 hour drive home after I finished
Thankyou so much for dropping in and leaving a comment ❤️🥾⛰
Hi Alan this was great. I had a list of videos to catch up on after we returned from camping last week but lost the list and realised when you uploaded this morning the trailer, that I hadn't watched it ! So good and was funny to hear about the couple with the brolley up there in 30 mile am hour winds that you said made you feel like a train had hit you ! Nice that you had the place to yourself apart from them. That was a beautiful place to hike and I'm glad you made it finally . Nice painted pebble at the summit :) Really enjoyed that thanks. Have a great weekend :) ~ Anna
thanks Anna and know worries im always missing and watching peoples vids late, its hard work to keep up tbh, yeah the forecast wasn't good but nowhere near the limit and after 3 cancelled attempts I though **** it !!! glad I did now too, hope you had a good time camping guys - Alan Team54
sorry I missed the premiere, I was on the road driving. That area is gorgeous I can only imagine how much more spectacular it would be on a clear day
Hiya mate no worries , the kayak team showed up and gave support so that’s awsome, on a clear day it’s absolutely amazing, hopefully when I’m next in the area I’ll get a decent day ❤️
Thanks for sharing 😎 shame to see that young lads memorial near the top💓
Hey mick, thanks for dropping in. Yeah it took me. Little by surprise I wasn’t expecting it, but a nice memorial in a wonderful place ❤️

Hello there !!! Hope you’re having a great week, almost the weekend and time for some more adventures , send love back from the UK 🇬🇧
Ohhh I like the music.. please be careful hiking alone, and the weather not good, not safe for you.. the view is beautiful.. the editing I want to learn that hehe.. it's another great video.. always stay safe
Hey shie ❤️❤️
I thought I’d throw some extra beats per minute in on this video 😂
I have to hike alone because I have no friends , no it was after work and I was in Scotland
The weather wasn’t to bad, when the wind starts hitting 60mph then it gets dangerous but I have all hand don’t worry .. thanks you dropping in to watch mate ❤️
Fantastic Content. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice day!❤👍
Thankyou for taking the time to watch and comment, it really is appreciated - Alan team54 ⛰🥾❤️
Hey Grace, hope youre well mate, I think im a bit weird but I actually enjoy the bad weather, unfortunately it was too windy to have the drone out to much but at least I got it out once,
thanks for your continued support big love - Alan Team54
Ah love the green, beautiful colours in that forest drive, it looks you got a healthy rain on the way, but as we say, you're not made of sugar to melt, are you, so it should work :D
Those colors are absolutely stunning, mate, really great capture! What a view on the way up, I'm still tring to find my jaw somewhere on the ground... just wooooow....
BTW, good on you to pick that bottle up! I would do the same, we should not leave the litter around!
Morning turtle 🐢
Thanks for watching mate, I know you’ve been busy and it’s a nightmare trying to catch up, so it’s appreciated!
The views that I got we’re amazing, this area of Scotland is stunning so it’s a shame you couldn’t see much from the summit !
I always pick litter up if I see it and just pop it in my bag .. otherwise that plastic bottle would sit up there for years
Catch you soon mate ❤️
Wow so beautiful nature my friend watching po God bless
Thankyou so much ❤️
Wow. Looks pretty high up there and hard to walk through the wind and fog. Great job sticking it out
Hiya mate, I think im a bit weird but I really enjoy the bad weather, cheers for dropping in and taking the time to watch and comment mate its really appreciated - Alan Team54
Another sound video mate. It's an area I need to visit myself. Always too focused on the lakes and worried about midges 😂
Hi mate, I only do Scotland if I’m working up there, I’m yet to encounter the midgy problem although it does look horrific 😂
Morning Urbexy, I’m 100% with you on that, give me lousy weather and no people over nice weather and having to deal with people anyday of the week,
I think some people just under estimate what the mountains can throw at you if they decide to
The couple I was dealing with hadn’t even checked the forecast, they was planning to jump in their car and drive upto fort William to do Ben Nevis the next day,
Told them the winds were gunna be at least 15mph stronger and they really didn’t have any gear ..
so advised them to stay off the big peaks, not sure if they listened though
Nice one for your comment mate and the cobbler is on my list to do, I’m working that way on Thursday so hopefully get it done Thursday night - cheers Alan team54 🥾⛰❤️
Hi Alan, like you love when the clouds come and go it enhances the views and wonderful views they were, mary poppins LOL, can remember on st sunday crag couldnt see a thing then they parted to reveal the views love it, anyway love the attitude to get to the summit whatever the weather cheers nigel
This always seems to be the case with the weather for me when I’m in Scotland , but I don’t mind it, I quite like being out in bad weather
Thanks again mate 👍👍

I’m at the stage now where I’m just going, whatever the weather if I’ve got to abort mission snd turn back before reaching that trig then so be it
With it being the most southern Munro I’ve had it planned in as and when I’ve been working in Scotland but the weather has caused me to cancel it, you should definitely give it’s a go, nice path most the way with only a couple of steep sections , a tiny bit of scrambling right near the summit but that’s it
Yeah it was sad to see but what a lovely place to put a memorial ❤️
The views normally from that area are some of the best in the uk so hopefully if you do go you get better weather than me,
Thanks for watching mate and taking the time to comment - Alan team54 ⛰🥾❤️
Hi Alan; watching this movie reminded me of many trips I have had in bad weather up to some inspiring peak. Of course it is better when the weather is nice; but sometimes we push our self to reach the summit come sun or wind or clouds high up! You looked wet at your highest point; so I guess it did good to get down to your camp later for hot food and a drink:) All the best, Ant
Hi Ant, I quite like the bad weather tbh, but yeah sometimes there’s a decision to make , and I think I was right to push on this time
It was actually a cheeky after work hike.

Hiya Tommy, first of all thanks for watching, I don’t remember and parts where I was nervous under foot, I know what you mean S once you’ve slipped a couple of times you loose your confidence… I’m the same on wet rock now,
