They may point out wonders, you may miss. As too focused on the road. Group/Friends. Give at warm fuzzy feeling. If we get stuck. There is someone else to lend a hand. And to have a good laugh. May tend to travel slower, due to stopping more. But experiencing more of life. I'm not going to commit to any of the above. They are great fun. But it is great to be with friends.
Just wondering, with a “soft side” what do you all do about bear and other critters. I was cautioned in outside of Destruction Bay and so most of the Yukon territory I was top down at the camp sites. A friend had a racoon successfully get to his kitchen by just ripping he sides to pieces.
Hi. That is a good question. We haven't been in situations like that. Imo a raccoon would not be strong enough to break through the canvas, it's quite sturdy. We do have the option to sleep with the top down. As the side dinette can be build into a bench. So one can sleep on the floor and the other on the bench. thanks for the nice trip report. but please do not refer to rock art (petroglyphs/pictographs) as "graffiti". Pick up Craig Childs book "Tracing Time" for a perspective on rock art throughout the SW and desert regions. And there are several others out there that share native and historical ideas on what rock art represents.
