Female. Mother. Woman. Warrior-today’s fleet isn’t dominated by male energy. Women walk the halls of submarines, guard the gates of bases around the world, laugh at the grease from a hard day in the hangar bay and save lives by disarming IEDs in the field. It is pretty simple: Navy women get things done.

I just recently got interested in the military field after thinking about what do I want to do in my future…Maybe this is it !
Ironically the only person I've ever known that didn't like women in the Navy was a woman serving in the Navy. Thank you to all the men AND women in the Navy, I appreciate you🇺🇲
I remember the emphasis placed on “paying attention to detail.”
The Navy didn't allow females on combatant ships when I served. But even back then I knew that restriction would soon come to an end. One thing about the U.S. Navy, when the word comes down the changes are implemented pretty fast.
