Great story. Quite right, imagine what sort of state Fergus would be in now if he listened to the doctors. He’d probably be on 10 meds and still feeling sick. Such a shame that the ‘health service’ is actually our enemy now.

I started carnivore as an elimination diet to fix my skin. Meat only. I even gave up coffee which I love. My skin healed. I brought back coffee first thing but switched to decaf due to salicylate issues. Really I love the cream. Now I'm trying to give up the coffee altogether nc after three months carnivore I'm stuck at a weight 20 lbs too high. My skin looks amazing, though. I'm half a day no coffee. I needed to hear this guy today!

I’m sorry for all the awful pain he went through. It’s awesome how his mom, uncle, aunt and granny all played a part in his healing. I, like his wife have never experienced that brain fog clarity I keep hearing about. I don’t feel like I have brain fog but I never had my brain kicked into a higher gear either. Fergus is the first person who made me think maybe giving up coffee would kick me into that gear. It’s a little bit of a scary thought for me but for the first time I’m considering it. I know exactly what you mean about trying to talk to people about the benefits of this WOE and how it's made you feel. I have a daughter and I hate to say it but she is way over weight to the point of being almost obese. She is sort of keto but like you she replaces everything with supposed keto snacks and deserts and thinking she is doing the right thing but the weight is not shifting. Hubby and I went to carnivore 2 plus years ago after failing at keto. what a life changer, my daughter is 50 we are in our early 70s and I am way fitter and healthier and a stable weight than she is but I just can't get through to her to just give it a go for 30 days and she will see the difference especially with arthritis, knee pain and foot pain. She is waiting for an operation on her foot but I'm sure the extra weight is not helping. Anyway once again a great interview Dave and keep up the carnivore way of life Fergus,

I remember before I started carnivore I would really have to load up on caffeine if I wanted to balance my checkbook in the morning (the old fashioned way, not online banking.) Fergus thank you for sharing your story and so happy to see you being able to spread the word about carnivore to family. Mine are still not 100% into it. My teenagers are around 75-85% carnivore and they don’t eat but meat and little plant matter- such as sliced bread (to make sandwich for lunch for school days) and little fruit for plant matter- raisins here and there or a banana every so often. We don’t buy anything else so they eat primarily meat. Just wish the school would serve low carb keto and carnivore and not other plant mess that they can buy when I am not around. Hubby is about 85% /90% carnivore and can see how it has healed him so far. He’s lost weight, no more snoring, his life long back pain is gone, no aches in joints, and I am hoping with time he goes 100% carnivore, but his mom isn’t sold on carnivore so he eats more keto around her so she doesn’t worry. My mother n law now understands that bread is pretty much cake and doesn’t want to gain weight. I told her eat an egg a day to keep her healthy fats in daily as they still think lean chicken is best, and not to eat much meat. Trying to un brainwash them all gently. She started listening to Jordon Peterson so I am hoping she finds his videos on carnivore to pull a ninja way of getting her persuaded into understanding and trying carnivore, and to support me more with understanding it! ☺️👍🏻
Dave, have an amazing day! As someone said earlier, you are like an angel by doing these interviews to help the world heal on carnivore. You are making a positive influence on human kind by showing them the truth on how humans should be eating- and that’s carnivore. Thank you for all you are doing! ☺️

I’m almost 63; have avoided Drs since 2013; been on keto since then. I’m so much better; but a ways to go.
My family are all Dr/pill addicts. All they talk about is their conditions, meds. Eat worse than SAD ! I handled my dad’s caregiver, drs and meds for 4 months! It’s a full time job!
They don’t want to hear about lifestyle changes, just tell me, I’m lucky I don’t have heath issues-- what? I reversed diabetes, arthritis, allergigie, gerd, etc.
now I’m 1 week carnivore, trying to get to a better weight and heal thyroid.

Cheese has caesomorphines, it is indeed VERY addictive! No one realizes how addictive cheese and carbs are, it's real.

One thing a lot of people don't realize is that store bought, already ground coffee has a lot of fillers in it and things to addict you. I used to drink it years ago until my sister-in-law told me it wasn't just coffee. When I stopped I had horrible headaches and fatigue. Then I started buying organic whole beans and now I can take it or leave it, no headaches or anything.

2:41 The doctors missed a HUGELY impactful aspect of your treatment - criminal! You should have been given CALCIFEDIOL 25(OH)VitD orally immediately upon presentation at the hospital. Given where you were living, it's quite likely you were Vitamin D deficient. Here's a background video: ua-cam.com/video/sp21CPCVNAw/v-deo.htmlsi=cLsgAS3xpRh_kx9I -- Thanks for being around to share your story, Fergus. ❤

Keto isn't about the ingredients on the package falling below a set point. The core of Keto is meat and three vegetables, basically. Keto is to much work for less outcome. Thats my view on it.. Great interview

I spent 20yrs in the Arctic bush and the old Anahs would render the seal oil and it would ferment and they would preserve meats in it or fill animal intestines and the men would take it on hunting/fishing trips. I was given some with caulk (frozen raw fish shaved thin). Thought I was having hot flashes it burns so hot in your body. Hunters would eat it to stave off hypothermia and you needed the high calories. You have no idea how much you burn shivering to stay warm at -45F. The elders would live well into their 90s and hundreds but those who got a taste for western food started dying young. Cancer started becoming one of the highest killers. It wasn’t the native diet. It was American junk.

Great advice: call it The 'Carnivore Experience', way better than saying Carnivore Diet.
Plant that seed and they will come to it on their own if they want to feel better.
