Thanks!
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Great story. Quite right, imagine what sort of state Fergus would be in now if he listened to the doctors. He’d probably be on 10 meds and still feeling sick. Such a shame that the ‘health service’ is actually our enemy now.
It's all about making as much money as possible until they kill you, mostly anyway.
It has always been the enemy except for emergency care. So many books have been written on how docs make us sick. Read Malepractice by Dr Robert Mendelson in the 80s.
That's a feeling of freedom when you realise you are in control of your health and the Medical establishment are mostly your enemy!
I did keto, carnivore for 1 year lost 50 lbs. Then gave into my carb addiction. Now 3 days in to carnivore. Having the headache. My joints have hurt so much since falling into old habits. Gained all the weight back in the last 3yrs and hurt all over again. Struggle is real
I'm four years now! I feel amazing...had severe Lyme/MS could barely walk, zero energy, everything was so hard and my brain felt like I had dementia. This has helped to save me (I do other things as well). After thirty years of wanting to die...I feel like I can live now.
What else did you do for your Lymes?
So happy for you! Wonderful!
👍 Hope we can listen to your story one day
Did you have neuropathic pain-like with Lyme/MS?
@@Sconzette yes
Not sure why people keep trying to reintroduce things. I'm with you... My carnivore keeps getting cleaner and cleaner. And I feel better and better.
Because some things are delicious and we would eat them if we could, and we hope we can.
I'm on carnivore except for a little coffee trying to keep cutting down. Though...I actually thought how good eating1 dozen glaze donuts would taste today lol , didn't give in though...only been. Carnivore for a WK though
The reintroduction thing is industry driven
@michaeltaylors2456 Yeah, I just saw some new diet called whole30 where they cut out processed foods and then reintroduce them. One of the worst ideas I've ever heard. "Oh, Snapple and Rice Krispy Treats work well for me. I'll just cut out Pringles."
I started carnivore as an elimination diet to fix my skin. Meat only. I even gave up coffee which I love. My skin healed. I brought back coffee first thing but switched to decaf due to salicylate issues. Really I love the cream. Now I'm trying to give up the coffee altogether nc after three months carnivore I'm stuck at a weight 20 lbs too high. My skin looks amazing, though. I'm half a day no coffee. I needed to hear this guy today!
Fergus demonstrated great courage in refusing to take the drugs from the docs. We all have relatives and friends who have gone done that path of suffering.
Courage? Your Dr is not a "God" . I admire him being his own advocate but cannot understand people feeling like they have to take pills their Drs prescribe. Or even care what family and friends think?
@@marianne1959 many, especially older, people unfortunately regard doctors as gods, or near enough. Many forget that the doctor's role is to advice the patient, not order them around, and that it is still up to the patient to figure out what is best for themselves
@@defeqel6537 Agree , although at age 65 I am "older"....lol. and I do not believe those pill pushers have any answers to my health
Fergus, you critical thinker you, what a great interview! Thank you so much for sharing your story, and thank you Dave Mac for being such a beautiful Angel On Earth! You are sooo very loved!
When your system is running constantly on glucose, the immune system is not fired up.
Or.., or is immune system trying keep body somehow working while brain is stuffing it with fructose. And don't have power to take care of all the other problems.
@@zperdek When you are overloaded with glucose the immune system is rendered useless, it goes offline. I have heard Dr Lustig and some others give presentations that include this topic.
Good question lol.ive been doing it and I’m miserable May I please please remember how crappy I feel right now 😮
Good afternoon from England.
That is quite a story. All the best to Fergus.
Good afternoon, Noreen! Thanks for tuning in!
Keep them coming Dave, Thanks for all you're doing.
Cheers, John! Thanks for watching!
Came for the interview, stayed for the boyo accent and charm. Erin go braugh! Thanks Dave, you keep hitting them out of the park!
I agree with Fergus! Dave’s channel is THE BEST!
I love the name Fergus 😆. Fergus really made me laugh when he said he was startled by a big man coming his way that turned out to be himself. Hahahahahaha. That’s hilarious. I’m sorry for all the awful pain he went through. It’s awesome how his mom, uncle, aunt and granny all played a part in his healing. I, like his wife have never experienced that brain fog clarity I keep hearing about. I don’t feel like I have brain fog but I never had my brain kicked into a higher gear either. Fergus is the first person who made me think maybe giving up coffee would kick me into that gear. It’s a little bit of a scary thought for me but for the first time I’m considering it. Oh, his wife’s cheese bowl story is hilarious too! Hahahahahaha 😂.
That was hilarious 😂 reminds me of looking in the mirror and seeing an old person instead of me
Flying my 🫶🤝 thanks over to Japan and Ireland to Dave and Fergus.
Both gentlemen did an awesome interview.
Say goodbye to carb addiction if you can avoid having carbs around you especially in your house, your fridge, your kitchen cabinets or on your countertop.
All I have in my kitchen is meat, salt and water.
My OH is still vegetarian and carb addicted. He makes bread daily. I don't have a problem. He is getting more curious about carnivore but not ready to change yet.
@@lat1419kind of in the same boat. I'm not in the least bit plagued by the presence of piles of pasta and legumes or even the odd bag of potato chips which was my main addiction. The whole house is mid transition to Keto (I'm all carnivore) and the only thing that has been mentioned to me is how they miss bread. Slowly giving away my stores of staple goods but no urge to binge on the problematic foods.
@@whiskybrush3219 it really is a revelation that it's actually a choice, and we choose not to partake! I love the smell of baking bread in the kitchen, but have no desire to eat any.
Stay away from doctors and hospitals. I’m 66 never had a physical, mammogram or Pap smear!
I’m a DNR…no great heroics for me…when my time comes I’ll leave with dignity and a heart full of wonderful experiences!

@@user-do1cs9qh4s No…I will be in charge of my final journey…that’s different! I will leave this world as I please and with dignity! Learn, investigate and never, never pass judgement!
Not really...it means you won't be hooked up to life support...extending your "life" while already dead.
I know exactly what you mean about trying to talk to people about the benefits of this WOE and how it's made you feel. I have a daughter and I hate to say it but she is way over weight to the point of being almost obese. She is sort of keto but like you she replaces everything with supposed keto snacks and deserts and thinking she is doing the right thing but the weight is not shifting. Hubby and I went to carnivore 2 plus years ago after failing at keto. what a life changer, my daughter is 50 we are in our early 70s and I am way fitter and healthier and a stable weight than she is but I just can't get through to her to just give it a go for 30 days and she will see the difference especially with arthritis, knee pain and foot pain. She is waiting for an operation on her foot but I'm sure the extra weight is not helping. Anyway once again a great interview Dave and keep up the carnivore way of life Fergus,
Thank you Dave and Fergus. I never entertained the keto diet. Everything is keto now 🙄. Not good. Brings you right back to the addictions. Carnivore is simple, easy.
Agree! While I did reverse my T2Diabetes on keto, I realized a year in that all the .yriad of recipes were just substitutes for the foods that caused addictions in first place. Wasn't until I went car ivore that ALL carb cravings went away. Can walk by the bakery section at grocery store and can't stand the smell or the looks of sweets, bread etc.
I remember before I started carnivore I would really have to load up on caffeine if I wanted to balance my checkbook in the morning (the old fashioned way, not online banking.) Now it's no problem, getting it done quickly after eggs and bacon for breakfast. This is the best evidence of no brain fog on carnivore. I think my personal paperwork is getting done more efficiently.
You're 👵 Grandma's old world wisdom is the best. We need to eat the meat, collagen, and the FAT!❤ I had a neighbor who lived to 105, and she wasn't afraid of meat or fat, and she threw all her prescription meds away.
Glad to know what he said about keto breath stink and carnivore breath does not stink.
That’s nice to know. I knew I didn’t have body order any more,
The clean teeth feeling when I wake up is one of the things I enjoy.
No more furry teeth when I run my teeth around in the morning.
Good morning, Dave and Fergus . ...What a story..
Regards from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Good morning, Christine! Thanks for watching!!
Chickens will eat chicken and love it. I read up on it and, according to the Internet, it won't hurt them. Fergus, I'm sorry America went sour for you, but happy you found a slice of paradise going home. Thanks for another great interview Dave
I agree. Chicken meat won’t hurt your chooks. Just throw them all in a pot and cook a bit. I wouldn’t give them raw. It’ll empty out your freezer too lol. I was a chicken wing addict.. since carnivore just the thought of them turns me off. They’re not sustaining either. Btw chickens are actually carnivore…
Chickens will eat anything. The extra kick in protein is especially helpful to them in the spring. Helps with the feather moulting and boosts their metabolic needs for a normal surge in egg production.
Another great interview with awesome results. Could listen to the Irish accent 24/7. 😊
Fergus, feed your spare meat grease to your chickens. It’s no different than feeding suet cakes to the wild birds. Our chickens love it. Only feed as much as they’ll finish before they go to bed to prevent other creatures from being attracted to it. Some of them might have one of your hens for dessert. I enjoyed listening to your story! 👍
Regular surgeries for 1.5 years??? OMG doctors should listen to us and have some REAL education!
For women especially it is important to eat 60 to 75 percent of calories fat on carnivore. Dairy has a casomorphine highly addictive to some.
Fergus thank you for sharing your story and so happy to see you being able to spread the word about carnivore to family. Mine are still not 100% into it. My teenagers are around 75-85% carnivore and they don’t eat but meat and little plant matter- such as sliced bread (to make sandwich for lunch for school days) and little fruit for plant matter- raisins here and there or a banana every so often. We don’t buy anything else so they eat primarily meat. Just wish the school would serve low carb keto and carnivore and not other plant mess that they can buy when I am not around. Hubby is about 85% /90% carnivore and can see how it has healed him so far. He’s lost weight, no more snoring, his life long back pain is gone, no aches in joints, and I am hoping with time he goes 100% carnivore, but his mom isn’t sold on carnivore so he eats more keto around her so she doesn’t worry. My mother n law now understands that bread is pretty much cake and doesn’t want to gain weight. I told her eat an egg a day to keep her healthy fats in daily as they still think lean chicken is best, and not to eat much meat. Trying to un brainwash them all gently. She started listening to Jordon Peterson so I am hoping she finds his videos on carnivore to pull a ninja way of getting her persuaded into understanding and trying carnivore, and to support me more with understanding it! ☺️👍🏻
Dave, have an amazing day! As someone said earlier, you are like an angel by doing these interviews to help the world heal on carnivore. You are making a positive influence on human kind by showing them the truth on how humans should be eating- and that’s carnivore. Thank you for all you are doing! ☺️
I used to fast all the time, but if you're trying to lose weight I don't recommend it. It tricks the body into conserving resources for a potential famine. I've also found it increases my anxiety, which makes sense because there's a freakin famine outside!
Dave, your interview with Fergus was delightful! Thanks so much to you both!😊❤
Great! Interview.....🤗🤗🤗 I just eat red meat.....too many issues. Getting so much better
Well done Fergus! Keep striving to thrive! 👍🥩😊
Great stuff, Fergus.
When you approach a "normal" weight, work in some HIIT exercise and sprinting. 2 -3 times a week.
The long distance stuff doesn't work.
Yep for sure👍
It depends on why one is running long distances. Some people simply run for the joy of it. That can’t be bad.
Delightful interview...Thank you for sharing Fergus.! All the best!!👍👍👍
Great Interview! Fergus is a treasure with his stories about his journey to health! Thank you, Dave, for providing all of these great people with a platform to share their stories! THIS is what will bring this truth to millions! Like a Tidal wave this is not something the Pharma, Food and medical industries can stop - Keep it coming!
Wonderful success Fergus! Carnivore addiction is real. He is right. Simple things in life are the best.
Wonderful interview - for Fergus, and his wife, women typically need more fat than men - both because we need it to produce more hormones, and for satiation. That's likely why she struggled for so long - it's possibly the most common mistake women make.
That’s my beautiful sister she doesn’t like to listen to anything i have to say about my new found healthy lifestyle, even though she can see that it’s definitely working,
as I’ve lost 31 kilos (68.343 lbs) over the past 9 months & have reached my goal weight, feeling fabulous at 70.
Thankyou for a great interview 😊🇦🇺
That was a tough journey, glad Fergus found the PHD that healed him💚
That was interesting about eating the fat. I've seen a Russian do that and it was a fair size chunk too.
Thanks Dave for another awesome video.
From Canada🍁
what a world it be if all doctors were critical thinkers instead of being pill pushers
I can relate to stopping to talk to people about this. Whatever, I feel great!!
Dave?❤Again and Fergus thanks for the personal narrative and 💗 the accent!😊
Really enjoyed this interview, thanks. Lots of good info. I think I will have to give up the coffee myself as it is really a diuretic and I have trouble staying hydrated. I think it is a bit bloating too.
Dave you have great interviews, I’m new on carnivore, all this interviews make me happy, thank you
Looking forward to an update, love this story.
Great work Dave, keep em coming.
Cheers, John! Thanks for watching!!
OMG. THIS POOR GUY. NEVER ENDING! Thank God he is better
Carnivore elicits the same response from people as when you bring up Jesus: people shut down. 😆You can see it in realtime. No matter how sickly and pill-ridden their lives, they reject Carnivore outright.
Heck, I don’t know what they have to lose - they’re physical catastrophes, lumbering along in excess weight, waiting for their next joint replacement.
yeah, I don't say anything about carnivore, just about reducing sugar, wheat and seed oils, and increasing meats. Many do check out even with that advice, but hopefully something sticks with them. I only mention things when asked / health topics come up.
He's right Dave! This channel is wonderful! You are appreciated for all your hard work. I don't watch tv very often at all, but even when my favorite British TV shows start up a new season(AmericanTVis terrible), I end up listening to your interviews instead. Thanks for the great interviews.
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Now thats some addictive cheese when you compare it to crack must be the Irish cheddar crack !.
I like the term carnivore experience. What a fantastic interview❤
I enjoyed Fergus’s Testimony.
Very interesting journey!
Wow, eloquent speaker, what a story.
Yes, nice guy Fergus. Wish him the best!
There are no hidden trapdoors. It is that simple.
Carnivore lifestyle = the one solitary thing that seems too good to be but actually is good and true.
Great talk. Thank you both for sharing such moving story, so much wisdom to get out of it, I'd love to hear Fergus again in 6 months. To good health 😀 ❤
Good morning Dave have a great day everyone!.
Good morning, William!!
Good morning Dave, happy for Fergus, quite a journey to health ❤
Great interview, what a nice man, keep going forward!
You’re a very good listener Dave ❤😊
Nice to meet you Fergus. Thx guys for doing this, filming it and sharing it with us.
❤ Loved this interview so much
Loved this interview…. Thanks for the entertainment 😊 . my son told me there’s a lot of additives and flour in sausages .. don’t know about butcher ones
Yes the ones from Chyna are that we see in the grocery stores here in the US. We get ours from our local farmer made from pasture raised pigs or grass fed beef. Yum.
I stopped taking all my medication and they put me down as non-compliant like I give a crap at my age...
I’m almost 63; have avoided Drs since 2013; been on keto since then. I’m so much better; but a ways to go.
My family are all Dr/pill addicts. All they talk about is their conditions, meds. Eat worse than SAD ! I handled my dad’s caregiver, drs and meds for 4 months! It’s a full time job!
They don’t want to hear about lifestyle changes, just tell me, I’m lucky I don’t have heath issues-- what? I reversed diabetes, arthritis, allergigie, gerd, etc.
now I’m 1 week carnivore, trying to get to a better weight and heal thyroid.
Nice one Fergus, good interview
Cheese has caesomorphines, it is indeed VERY addictive! No one realizes how addictive cheese and carbs are, it's real.
We have eaten Kings food for so many years, it stays on our minds. That is why cravings kick in...I think🤔 I cannot have it around....too weak😅
Thanks for a great, informative and amusing story! ❤
I so enjoy your interviews, Dave!
Thank you!! ❤️
One thing a lot of people don't realize is that store bought, already ground coffee has a lot of fillers in it and things to addict you. I used to drink it years ago until my sister-in-law told me it wasn't just coffee. When I stopped I had horrible headaches and fatigue. Then I started buying organic whole beans and now I can take it or leave it, no headaches or anything.
So glad Fergus is alive.
Hallelujah ❤
2:41 The doctors missed a HUGELY impactful aspect of your treatment - criminal! You should have been given CALCIFEDIOL 25(OH)VitD orally immediately upon presentation at the hospital. Given where you were living, it's quite likely you were Vitamin D deficient. That opening is hilarious xD

At first I thought Dave was interviewing Russell Crowe. :)
Im sure he'll take that👍
Great interview.
Awesome interview! Thanks for these interviews helping us on our own carnivore journey
Another fab interview 🙌🙌🙌
Great story and He made me laugh!
Keto isn't about the ingredients on the package falling below a set point. The core of Keto is meat and three vegetables, basically. Keto is to much work for less outcome. Thats my view on it.. Great interview
I love your interview, and the people you have on you show.
Yep, there's definitely a step change up when we go from keto to carnivore.
I spent 20yrs in the Arctic bush and the old Anahs would render the seal oil and it would ferment and they would preserve meats in it or fill animal intestines and the men would take it on hunting/fishing trips. I was given some with caulk (frozen raw fish shaved thin). Thought I was having hot flashes it burns so hot in your body. Hunters would eat it to stave off hypothermia and you needed the high calories. You have no idea how much you burn shivering to stay warm at -45F. The elders would live well into their 90s and hundreds but those who got a taste for western food started dying young. Cancer started becoming one of the highest killers. It wasn’t the native diet. It was American junk.
This man is really in tune with his body. That's one of my goals too. Wonderful interview Dave. Thank you Fergus for sharing
The eye things I was told were migraines with auras. No pain just auras. Pretty freaky

Great interview!
Love to see it. Carnivore Fam Bam! 💯😁 Ill keep my ears perked if for if y'all ever come out to CA!
Thank you Dave and Curtis❤
Well done Fergus and Dave, thank you.
Great interview. I almost fell off my chair when he talked about giving thr chickens wings to eat and turning them into cannibals.. lol hilarious
Fabulous video. Thank you from my heart.
Calling someone a 'Critical Thinker' is a complement. Nobody in their right mind would consider that an insult.
Awesome stuff great interview Thanks so much
I love beef too! 😁
Respect to Fergus thank you for sharing.
Today I just gave up coffee and started drinking water.
Hope no headaches tomorrow.
The problem with store bought chicken is that they are grain fed, and not fully grown yet.
Great advice: call it The 'Carnivore Experience', way better than saying Carnivore Diet.
Plant that seed and they will come to it on their own if they want to feel better.
