So lovely to listen to SALVADOR SOBRAL - always a delight to see someone like him finding new paths to express himself in his art ... great ballad interpretation ... we can sense the winds ... Pat :-)
Hear the trees play with the wind 'cause No one will come around Settle down at your own pace and feel How it all starts to build Air in my lungs ready to sing with the breeze Ending a cycle, long to be released My eyes are wide open A heart that's ready to absorb We'll know when it's coming But I'm prepared to roll, roll the dice How can I forget the times you Were around filling my gas Then a drought became a cloudy rock That fell and shook my ground Air in my lungs ready to sing with the breeze Ending a cycle, long to be released My eyes are wide open A heart that's ready to absorb We'll know when it's coming But I'm prepared to roll, roll the dice If I don't lose track of what's within And play my cards right Another tree will grow If I keep moving, even in the dark nights Maybe around the corner another wind will blow Bringing the sound of your voice Singing my song Air in my lungs ready to sing with the breeze Ending a cycle, long to be released My eyes are wide open A heart that's ready to absorb We'll know when it's coming But I'm prepared to roll, roll the dice Hear the trees play with the wind 'cause No one will come around
Even though Salvador Sobral believe that you do not need to understand lyrics for feeling music; I have more tendency to listen his English songs and I am not even English. I know there are people like me because the fact is that he gained a lot of jazz listeners around the world thanks to Eurovision so English is better to communicate with them. I appreciate his Portuguese songs and feel them but thats better If I listen his music in English. Still, I am enjoying his brand new album:) respect from Turkey.
Que no se vuelva a repetir más. No te metas con mi familia. Familia no es. Puede a ver problemas en casa. Mi padre con mi madre. Después me prohíbe hablar contigo. Ya tienes bastante con lo tuyo. Metete en tu vida. Y déjame vivir ok. Y no te metas donde. No te llaman. Yo no los conozco de nada. Yo no se donde viven. A mi según me había dicho la mujer que vivían en Francia
Thank you for the feeling you give me through your music. It’s indescribable, I truly appreciate that.
Several languages ❤️🎶 Beautiful and soulful music. Fantastic Salvador! Thank you for sharing your music❤️💜
I don’t know how you do it but your music and voice always makes my heart warm and often times takes me back to my childhood fairytales ☺️ 🧚🏻♂️

Pessoalmente eu adorei esta canção. Chapeau Salvador!
Das tuas melhores músicas que tens, mesmo sendo praticamente todas espetaculares
Me fascina que traslade la música a distintos idiomas y que así se pueda sentir mas personal aun de lo que ya se siente
I love the phrasing of voice and drums

Hear the trees play with the wind 'cause
No one will come around
Settle down at your own pace and feel
How it all starts to build
Air in my lungs ready to sing with the breeze
Ending a cycle, long to be released
My eyes are wide open
A heart that's ready to absorb
We'll know when it's coming
But I'm prepared to roll, roll the dice
How can I forget the times you
Were around filling my gas
Then a drought became a cloudy rock
That fell and shook my ground
Air in my lungs ready to sing with the breeze
Ending a cycle, long to be released
My eyes are wide open
A heart that's ready to absorb
We'll know when it's coming
But I'm prepared to roll, roll the dice
If I don't lose track of what's within
And play my cards right
Another tree will grow
If I keep moving, even in the dark nights
Maybe around the corner another wind will blow
Bringing the sound of your voice
Singing my song
Air in my lungs ready to sing with the breeze
Ending a cycle, long to be released
My eyes are wide open
A heart that's ready to absorb
We'll know when it's coming
But I'm prepared to roll, roll the dice
Hear the trees play with the wind 'cause
No one will come around
I would love to listen you singing some João Gilberto...
Love it, Love it
Sendo livre, como é que tu te tornas um igual a nós! E nos fazes suspirar?

I agree, it is always better when you know what's the song is all about, and english is a language evereyone understands.
Just use Google Translate and then you'll always know what he sings about.
Trop beau🤗
