They were so popular in the 1970s. Then fell out in the 1980s. Then they came back in the early 1990s. And they're still here in the early 2020s. Very interesting...
I wish I could get platforms like that from those years
You can on the web
must are used if you find them now, but still in great shape
I still wear shoes with platforms all the time they're really comfortable
me too! and bell bottom jeans as well
Dang! I remember those platform shoes, so groovy baby.
Dang this was posted 7 years ago and it has no comments well I guess I can say 👑 🥇 FIRST
yawn.
I got 2 bell bottom jeans and 2 70's platform boogie shoes.
they just don't make shoes the same anymore if only!
I had these shoes in white, when I was 16. The 70s were the best time.
0:10 I wonder what brand those black ones will be. ❤
When there were no Adidas, Nike, Puma shoes and instead there were normal shoes, which I would rather look at than the crappy ones of today. 😢
It's true
@@JurusChist I can't believe that the God answered me, be it you, thank you for correcting my opinion.
Actually they already there, and they started to become popular in the 70s. But the sneaker craze only happened in the 80s.
The 70s were the decade of platform shoes, men and women could wear them equally.
In the 80s, there was a sneaker craze, and all the girls wore stiletto.
In the 90s, platform shoes returned, but at that time there were many options besides this one. Chunky shoes were a big trend in that decade.
My dad wore platform shoes back in the 70s.I just don't see how you could walk all day on those or even dance.
It was not a problem for me to walk and to dance in these shoes.
so jealous
The girl in the blue diamond dress and the blue jean are 😍🙌❤🔥
I literally got flash backs watching this lol
no audio?
i would have said this was 3 or 4 years later that 1970? i desperately wanted some big wedge platforms but i was only little 😁 my dad had a pair of small platformed stacked heel boots in orange and tan 😆
most of those wouldn't look out of place in 2023, ditto the jeans, for women, anyway. platforms are in, flares are in. all styles of shoes and jeans are in. fashion is very diffuse right now.
I wore some old ’mild’ platform ankle boots to school in 1980 when they were no longer in fashion for boys - big mistake 😅🤓
Those shoes are so hip .
