People will comment before watching the video saying Tejas Nahi bana and all. But he is talking about Engines. This is upcoming jet engine project with foreign vendor :)
I think AMCAs medium sized design is already outdated. Trend is bigger stealth jets. Need more space 4 more power, bigger engines, bigger missiles n laser weapons. AMCA with a small internal bay carrying small 4 missiles doesnt make sense. Unless we also develop a bigger version later.
Air force need medium class ( requirement) AMCA project director interview mai bola tha hmlog ko user ne bola wesa design banaya aagar 40 ton ka bolte to banate

Nooo! You are wrong bro. 1.desine is based on iaf requirments( role, missions, geography, stealth, proven desine, cost etc) why not bigger fighter jet like heavy weight :- 1.the engine, there no engine that is available for india to fit in heavy weigth fighter that does not compromise its stealth like china and russia both have heavy weight stealth fighter but no 5th gen engine to power them ( thats why western and india expert say its not a completly 5th gen fighter) 2.geography : the geo. Of india is comparitively smaller then china and russia so no need to for heavy weight stealth aircraft and china and pak both are close to indian border espaci. Pak and for china even if india will have heavy weight fighter like j20 or su57 or f22 raptor still india cant use them on main land china its just too far even china cant use its j20 against india. 3.role and mission: may be for seed mission and counter other stealth planes. 4.cost and time: working on a proven desine like amca[ based on f22 raptor] reduces cost and risk for delays and overallcost runs coz workin on a fresh stealth desine is not easy like china and russia both still perfecting there fighters even today thus its will increse the time. 5.practicle way: working on proven desine[highly reliable desine & with no any experience on stealth fighter jet ] and make it a medium weight[ more stealth due to no engine for heavy weight & cost of per fighter jet both manufacturing and operating ] is the only way to induct it in service in time.
If India can build a world class space agency, nuclear weapons, SSBNs, 10000km range missiles, etc, we can also build a jet engine. Money is not an issue, intent is. Our import generals love foreign maal more than desi maal. Defense reforms are needed asap if we want to be vishwaguru.
There r many fundamental differences btw jet engine and Space Rocket engines. But yeh If we Invest money properly then we can build a proper jet engine

indian rocket engines are all copies of soviet technology, AND WE HAVE NOT DONE ANY INNOVATION IN THAT TOO!!!!! only copy paste..... do some research first
This is because 6th Gen cannot be defined at the moment so it is whatever you want it to be. The JF17 and Mig 21 are 6th Gen aircraft if that is how you feel!
Please cover the army and navy developments. I get ki air force trending hsi par yaar would love thoda variation and updates ki what your current naval fleet looks like. Haven't seen a comprehensive video on our naval fleet.
Three line ups of indigenous engine development : 1. Kaveri line up - for mid life replacement of Tejas Mk1A and Mk2 variants and Ghatak based drone variants . Three Kaveri variants - Kaveri 1, Kaveri 1 afterburning , Kaveri 2 afterburning. Max output of Kaveri variants 90kn wet. 2. 110 kn Dry 5th Gen engine - for AMCA Mk1, TEDBF and ORCA . Afterburning output 130kn limit. 3. 130kn 6th Gen engine - for AMCA Mk2 . Hypersonic performance, super cruise, low thermal signature and near space ceiling expected . For this, GE has already forwarded its requirement for development partner , if its India - ' significant commitment of time and resources '
Sir Tejas mk2 aur AMCA mk1 me jo GE f 414 engine lagenge wo India me produce honge to unke production ke liye infrastructure banane me hi bohot time lag jayega isse to aur delay hoga samjhaiye iske bare me, thank you 🙏
AMCA 1: 5 GEN AMCA 2: 5.5 GEN Ye 6th gen ke high hopes rakhna sensible nahi hai. Abhi India ke pass 4.5 gen ke engines hi available nahi hai. 5th gen engines ka kuch pata nahi hai. 6th gen to bahot door ki baat hai. 2040.....
That's why agniveer is important it will significantly reduce the burden of salary and pension on defence budget, no country in world spending percentage of defence budget in salary like india.once this thing is sorted out defence budget will be used better.
Does anyone else feel that 110Kn will be a bit underpowered? The F-22 Raptor's engine f-119 produces around 156Kn thrust, and the Saturn AL 51 engine is said to produce 167 Kn. Even the Chinese WS series engines are producing quite high levels of thrust. This is my personal opinion that a bit higher levels of thrust are needed because, as is in Indian weather conditions and specially high altitude operations, the engines will produce lower thrust due to thin air.
Russia is our allies and friends. Russia and india both can make 6 gen fighter jet simple . Su 57 technology transfer lelo Russia se Russia ready hai .
Weight and drag matter also it’s going to be a 110kn+ engine ,the french are renowned for making lightweight engines like the M88 on the rafale….it only weighs 897 kgs and produces 75 kn of thrust
@shadowjackson6135 I agree with your point. However, we must remember that the Rafale was not designed by keeping high altitude operations in mind. Plus, the empty weight of the Rafale is around 10-11 tonnes(please do correct me if I am wrong), which is already lighter than the proposed weight of 13 tonnes that the AMCA will have. Plus, the additional avionics and the upgraded radar system intended for the AMCA will add additional weight. Also, I am not sure about the fuel carrying capacity. Since the AMCA will be intended as a stealth fighter, I am assuming the internal fuel capacity will be larger so as to avoid the usage of drop tanks.
HAL has still to produce the engine , Tejas mark 2 variant , 5 gen AMCA 1 , that will normally take ten to fifteen years , and now there's a talk about 6 gen AMCA , so incredulous . Kindly complete the task in hand before dreaming of unrealistic projects .
What a joke .. ab mujhe in videos ki credibility na rahi.. Tejas mk1 8 bananey mai Hum fail rahe..6 generation.. 10th generation..bakwas batien..focus on building engine testing and fabrication facilities...ase khud aur dusro ko bewakoof kyu banana
Our Airforce has delayed acquisitions for one reason or another and searching for equipment with non existent technologies....very quickly IAF will be called as Inactive Airforce😢
Ooo bhai, kuch nahi banra. Ainve hi video daal deta hai, 4th gen engine ke liye yaha-vaha ghoom rhe hai. Baato se direction decide nahi hoti, actions se hoti hai. Meeting mai boli gyi baat se direction decide krte to abtakk Tejas Mk 2 ready hota and service mai induct hota.
These Indian defence you tubers! Leave the turbofan engines aside , what happened to the mark1a being tested , it’s already been close to a year , that thing is not tested and certified . Dhruv helicopters are crashing as we speak , the helicopter is a German design for the Indian audience which was brought out . Even such a proven design is failing in Indian hands. NALs designs are underwhelming, India is no where to be seen in drone technology. All these present a bleak picture about Indian capabilities. No wonder, the services want foreign equipment.
Tejas mk1abi Tak IAFko mele nehi ha tejasmk1aaabi taak Bane nehi ha engine ki vajeh se 93order still nothing appen Tejas mk2still under development may be 6years AMCA is still under development not less than 12year&now AMCA २kya tamasha just shut up😂❤

The Air Chief recently said that he's waiting for HAL to complete the 1st order of 40 jets. Not going to hold my breath
Engine hi nahi hai, HAL kaha se dega aircraft
32 tejas have been delivered, only 8 trainer version of them are remaining that too because its a twin seater version .

Building a nuke is legit more easier than building a jet engine
building nukes is not about technology as much as it is just about scale and patience, same for missiles.
