1. NAVY proucuring New Equipment like Candies in this decade. 2. If Lockheed-Martin is only been able to deliver 110 F-35 Block 4 in 2024, it is concerning manufacturing speed for a facility like Lockheed-Martin. 3. If Safran and DRDO agree to make a 6th gen engine presumebly 110 kN thrust engine in 5 billion dollar, I don't think it would be a better choice also seeing the 100% ToT, it would cost more than 5 billion. 4. IAF calling HAL for faster delivery is already seen in decades also I am happy to see that IAF is really eager to operate indigenous jets but to their frustation, they have not been able to deliver any since now. 5. I kind of agree with the capability of Rafale and not ordering any further but current governement to avoid political storms decide not to, although I had till date not understood that how the heck does per piece of Rafale cost more than F-35, even if we order with extra equipment like missiles and parts already before even flying them and pay for maintenance of many years at once.
Rafale is more expensive because F35 is produced in scale. It has nothing to do with India. India also requested specific modification in Rafale which added 2.5B in cost. Finally you cannot compared naked F35 with fully loaded Rafale with maintenance package

You can make 6th gen if you are unable to make a 4th gen. Many systems on 5th gen can be integrated on a 4th gen vector, most of the tejas is currently 4th gen system or foreign. So yes the first step is to have modern system and localized one, this is where the tejas a1 is coming. Then state of the art with rafale, i doubt the tejas 2 would cut it but it’s the intension. Then you integrate those localized state of the art into an airframe that c will be upgradable for the next 40 years that’s amca. The road map is gone (but very optimistic). Hal however is bad, promesses everything in the next 3 to 5 years always. If India is to close the gap it needs time and Hal out of the way.

AMCA UCAV ? I think 1st priority should b engine and 2nd a prototype. Why r we talking about fantasy stuff when there isn't even a prototype, forget about flying it, just do taxi trial. Bigger problem, we don't have a prototype of Tejas mk2. I m afraid we have fallen behind Pakistan
@tushars4038, the design team within ADA would have got bandwidth for design of AMCA MK2 as the MK1 design is finalised and in prototype stage..
India should offer $2million to returning NRI engineers and scientists to start companies in India just like China does. Time to bring back brain power
Everything delay military ,army and air force how to protect India ?
If we are taking helicopters from other countries and get engines from other countries when what is the role of HAL?
If Safran engine deal goes through India won't be required to invest in MRCA..just buy 36 Rafale in govt to govt deal...
DRDO: ये करेंगे, वो करेंगे।
ALTAST: कुछ नहीं करेंगे
@@tejabhai4960 Bhai drdo kuchh n karta yeh missile technology USA ka hai India ko china per bartary dene ke liye aur kuchh nh
Amca ko HAL bna raha hai na ki drdo
As per few rw handles, 150 Stryker will be procured. Is it true ??
Jai Hind...
I think this air chief marshal is bashing baselessly hal is not delaying on its own but due to gef04 delay while , private player’s aren’t participating in jet manufacturing bcoz of lack of big order
Is new engine that india is making...its dry or wet thrust of 110 talking
India cannot even make Kaveri 71 kn engine work, 110 is only a dream, France does not have it even
like a fly without head does not know where to go
What is "six gen engine"?
Nice video
India making tejas till 2036😮
I don't for a minute believe that saffron is going to give india full tot on a variable cycle engine...
Is there a wind tunnel for aircraft experiments in India? Does India have engines for fighter planes? Who does India buy radar from?
now modi govt is fading because of the lethargic decision making on important issues. Give way for Yogi ji. on the spot decision capabilities is the key
Tejas is a gone case so is MRFA. You cannot continue flying Flying Coffins and other three to be Flying Coffins.
US ne Bada Jatka diya in terms of Tejas engine Now Safran will give orange for Amca sahi hey bhai sab log jatka denewala mila hey Boeing has failed to support on Apache heliss kya chal ra hey
Aircraft chief want everything to be agile and no more waterfall tats y we see numerous changes in IT not in manufacturing
Why not our private sector come in front for making indigenous fighter aircraft and bombers like lockhit martin and Boeing 😮
HAL is just wasting their time developing 4th gen tejas when world is moving towards 6th gen
Unsubscribing after chinese 6th gen... Now no lies can be fed... Pathetic and rumours only
We cant even tejas Mk1 even two three per year...
10th generation engine..why even 6th..
KAAN 😂...another traget for our Mig21 Boys...😅
Pakistan is all set to acquire a 5th gen fighter jet be it kaan or j-35 it's high time we make a decision, i think that even if su57e is not a complete 5th gen aircraft it is still better than rafale f4 and it's the best option that we have, we should acquire it in some numbers as f-35 not at all possible Jai Hind
IAF has become the biggest JOKE, they should learn something from the NAVY. 😁
why? IAF wanted Rafale, but Dasaullt is not ready to meet our condition. IAF wants indigenous jets to be delivered faster, HAL is not delivering. Still you blame IAF chief?
@vaimurthy this is the problem with you people...easy to blame HAL but the main problem is GE is unable to deliver...Def Min didn't invest in Kaveri engine....IAF dragged its feet for Tejas orders....even after all this failures and success across our northern neighbourhood we don't learn then only bhagwan can help us....
@@deeprodatta1387 Wrong info.
1. 39 Tejas MK1 delivered over the period of 16 years. It is noting but HAL fault as there is no engine issue. Engines were bough off the shelf for this.
2. MK2 prototype has no engine issue, still HAL is keeps on shifting timeline. So we blame HAL.
3. Government has limited budget, they will invest in project where they know will get delivered. They cannot keep spending on engine without success for 20 years.
4. IAF dragged its feet because their Mig 21 replacement which is supposed to come in 2010 came in 2019. By this time, we dont need 3rd gen jet anymore. So HAL is the blame here.
We want F35 Block 4!
🤣
India france deal is beneficial for both. US for a long time destroyed others defence industries and monopoly on the market. Which now faces stiff challenge from others. US always sabotages others be it friendly or opponent.

Iaf, indian gov, mod should be ashamed of....debacle.....iat is in sever distresss....
for JF-17 originally it intended to use GE 404, however, due to the situation change, just like in India now, US refused to provide it, so Chinese told Pakistan, why not use RD 93? about the same size, similar power output? Pakistan agreed just JF -17 smoothly produced.
we dont need junk, we can afford better engines unlike you
@@vaimurthy unlike us their junk is at least flying and being used in mission. leave jingoism at home

@@vaimurthy our Junk is getting popular day by day... different countries are aquiring our Fighter Jet with rd93 engine... and has crossed 200+ fighter jets in the field.
We are using them in the operations.
Still adding New Blocks with better equipment day by day...
On the other hand your Samosa is still under production after many delays. 40 jets are still not provided to your Air Force. I think when we will expire our fight jets you will add your samosa in your fleet.
We dont talk shit only...we just do what is necessory for our air force...
Naive as hell, how can u have such day dream of geting turbo fan engine technology from othet country?
Cant agree more with the Retd Officer. Dont buy aircraft to make up 41 squadrons, buy based on merit and superiority. Just refer to Israeli Airforce. Buy only the best you can. What role will Tejas and Su30 play against 5th gen aircraft. IAF badly require F35 but they are not asking for it. More Rafale F4's does not bring parity with China.
I just cannot understand this country , things so easy for other country already proven but so difficult for India? it showed, very easy to get AL 31 or RD 93, as China and Pakistan showed, why not India do the same but blame the US all the time for not providing old less powerful GE 404 or 414???
slow n steady wins the race let govt decide the partner we should not hurry by seeing China the statements by any former officers seems to be under influence by someone
Jab duniya 8th generation fighter bana rahi hogi tab bhi india 5th generation AMCA bana hi raha hoga par bana nahi paya hoga.

Bharat Mata ki Jai ❤
pakistan to buy Chinese J 35 fighter jets and pakistan joining turkey to set up KAAN fighter jet manufacturing in pakistan. Seems like sending its citizens as beggars to different countries is making pakistan earn good revenue. 😂😂
When is It Going Happen? We are Just it's not happening in last 10 years. Government companies are Just westing time
Pakistan k pas 6th generation aircraft bhi India say pehly ajaye ga.
Even tortoise will defeat indian govt. By the time govt takes decisions regarding airforce and engines, china would have went to 10th gen. Make in india in fighter jets won't happen just by advertisements. It will only happen if govt takes necessary decisions quickly and fasten the engine acquiring process. I wont spend money for military and R&D, but i also want everyone to place engines and fighter jets under my feet is what our govt is expecting
10-20 helicopter se kya hoga. Krna hai to 100 order kro
reality shows, trying to build a high rise from second floor will never work
Finally someone said the truth about the iaf.
INDIA DRDO SHOULD ALLOCATED MORE FUNDS FOR MORE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT FOR FUTURISTIC WEAPONS DEVELOPMENT TO DEFEND INDIA AND ALSO TO INCREASE WEAPONS EXPORTS
6th Gen. in 60 years ? No 100% indigenous 4th Gen machine in 40 years. Pathetic
