while in nature this is true the frontosa would do fine in a ph above 7.0 and the green terror wouldnt be super picky even though it wouldnt be the most ideal for both fish
@@atrillagaming7805 Green terrors are much more aggressive and even though they are a smaller fish can still deal alot more damage than an oscar. Oscars are semi aggressive but their downfall is that they don't have a very strong jaw like a majority of the central american cichlids do. Please check out my large chancho cichlid on my channel he's a super aggressive central american cichlid. I would never be able to house a fully grown adult oscar with him he would kill it easily. Oscars are very nice fish that should never be kept with central americans.

Almost all these fish get larger than you claim. Bichirs can get up to 15+ inches, not 8. Severums grow up to a foot. And how are you going to recommend an iridescent shark while using video of one so large it can't turn around in its tank? Plus that shark is still a juvenile. And a red tail cat will swallow a mature green terror before it's halfway done growing.
ive never had jewel cichlids personally and i believe the water requirements as far as ph are a little different. i do know how notoriously aggressive jewels are but ive heard its only really when theyre mating. if you were to keep one jewel and a gt with other fish id say itd be okay. but id also be prepared to green terror back to the store if it couldnt hold its own. i think that it will work solely depending on how many plants and caves there are and how many fish there are to spread the damage you could also add a convict or blood parrot to buffer aggression even though its kinda mean. id also like to say that mine is always the one being chased by other fish never the other way around.
