I think the video is great. The important message he getting through is recycling especially to younger
Audiences after all it will be their planet after us oldies are long gone. It will be second nature to them. It is enjoyable to watch and I think the humor is important because it is a dry subject.

    Coriginal comment : OhighO Skater,
For the adults that are mad about the host being energetic, I’m pretty sure this video is made to get kids interested in recycling. He’s trying to keep their attention. Adults not finding him entertaining enough to pay attention is most likely not his focus. Personally, I think it’s pretty cool these videos are made. Recycling is important and the younger that people realize that, the better

This guy is very unprofessional in his abilities to host a program. He should never be allowed in front of a camera again.

This only raises another question. They showed how the clear plastic bottles are recycled (because clear natural plastic is worth more to resellers) but they didn't touch on what happens to the colored plastic bottles that are worth less in resale value due to them being colored. What happens to those bottles and what are they made into or do they just end up being incinerated and counted as "recycled"?

It's too bad the host has to be such a Dork. The topics are interesting and don't need any amateur acting and silly commentary to hold our interest. In fact, it has the opposite affect in that it makes it hard to watch or take seriously.

Isn’t it amazing that the American state that’s in such a state can be an innovator of recycling yet its asinine and draconian tax laws condemn it and I have to admit that i didn’t care a whit about recycling until one day while driving a coach full of kids on a day trip a youngster said that if you even squeeze the bottles of juice I was going to put in the bin even that small thing make a difference, I’ve never forgotten the words of that young boy and for the most part I try and recycle as much as I can

I grind PET for a living and those safety glasses aren't enough protection. You have to wear safety goggles. I cut the retina in my eye with the shredded PET with safety glasses and now every few years I get infections in the hole that it created. Each time the hole gets bigger and the company won't cover my costs because their doctor says the eye has already repaired itself from the initial damage. Wear the proper PPE.

I think, that companies who work with plastic should to grave on their products from what material it's made. That's will really help to recyclers and usual people to understand with what material they have a deal.

what they don't say is if we would just filter our water n not buy it in plastic bottles it would cost 80% less and not put so much pollution in our ozone

How much energy does it take to manufacture and build the building, manufacture the machines, ship them, run them and the cost of Labor? Not counting the energy used to package, and ship the old plastic bottles. I wonder - how much energy is really saved? On the flip side, it does reduce landfills and hopefully all this stays out of the ocean - that is a very real, very big problem.

Had we been able to FIND a plastics recycling plant after Hurricane Michael hit there were BILLIONS of those plastic water bottles that just got tossed into the local incinerator that could have been recycled.
