Liked the setting for this game, the way it's so nice recreated locations as they would have been at the time. The Jack the Ripper game had a very gloomy bleak backdrop but this one is so cultured. It made me want to visit the Tower of London, the National Gallery and The British Museum after I played it. The game itself I did find really hard.
I do appreciate the fact that frogwares kept to the continuity, cause there are references to Arséne Lupin in both The Awakened and Jack The Ripper. That it wasn´t just a throwaway thing.
Love the 3:48:32 rolling eyes expression made by moving the camera.

This. I played up to the end of the museum section then the game crashed and I lost the last 2 hours. Haven't played it since.

My game stopped working on the monkey riddle last paragraph where I type in 1200 on the card reader. It doesn't give me the dialogue so I can't move forward...anyone know what to do? I tried reinstalling and that didn't work. I don't want to start all the way over.
Im here watching this complete walkthrough because i became tired and lazy finding those birds
last played this back when i was a kid had some difficulty with some bugs and some puzzles needing some english culture knowledge might wanna try it again see if i was just a little to young to get it

How do you pick up the sock it will only let me examine it. Okay I guess I had to pick up the book first strange it wouldn't let me pick it up before.
Can anybody please tell where can I watch a version in spanish. I have found only a few parts not the entire game.
I actually played this until the stick puzzle :'D I quit because I got tired of endless of endless amount of riddles and puzzles, even more so than other sherlock holmes games x'D

Based on the clues, Holmes have to find 4 paintings. Go around and look for the paintings described in the riddle and write all the dates.
Venus and Mars painted by Botticelli exhibited for the first time here in 1874.
Sleeping Man by Verbeek derived from a print in 1652.
A Winter Scene near a Castle by Avercamp, 1585-1634. He lived for 49 years.
Tobias and the Archangel Raphael acquired 1894.
1874 less 1652 = 222 x 49 = 10879 less 1894 = 8984.

I'd find your playthroughs more enjoyable if you could make small notes onscreen during gameplay(not in description or timestamps) what's the logic behind puzzles and how did you solve them(like explanation you gave in previous reply).
I know it is hard to measure what level of depth is appropriate for not to ruin watching experience and whole video to go smooth.
At least some sort of explanation would be nice addition.
I like your walkthroughs because of no commentary and fact you played games before--》whole story rolls like movie.

I didn't want to complete the game, so I came here...The old Sherlock Holmes games were way too frustrating to me.

Did you seriously play remastered version of the game... on the worst possible graphic settings? In 2020? 1:19:25
There's a know bug who prevent to change settings, as you can read on the steam forum.
@@AndreaPannocchia You can actually fix it with a patch.
@@KnightAlbert I tried but in my case the game start crashing randomly.
@@KnightAlbert The "patch" causes save problems. You can't save at random points in the game. The same happens in Sherlock Holmes The Awakened & Sherlock Holmes Versus Jack The Ripper. As for the Testament of Sherlock Holmes, the game crashes frequently when saving (manual or auto) in the Whitechapel area. Must be a DRM issue, because in the GOG version, the game runs almost flawlessly (plus 4G patch). Great games, but buggy as hell.
