"Get Slimed: The Making of the Classic Animatronic Character" Go behind the scenes to see how Slimer (known as Onion Head in the script) was made for the smash hit film "Ghostbusters"!
Really fantastic stuff; this is what UA-cam was made for! Ghostbusters was a huge part of my childhood and I've always thought the ghosts had incredibly imaginative designs - and they still look better than any CG creatures I've seen in films.
I would like to thank you for scaring the crap out of me with the Librarian when I was a kid. My parents weren't so thankful as I freaked for about a hour into the movie afterward. LOL Huge drive inn theater screen! The woman was so frightening!!
I always wondered who was behind the special effects of GhostBusters because the special effects were awesome looking! GhostBusters was one of my fav movies from childhood. I'm very interested in making shorts & my own films. I was wondering, what would your advice be for budding young film makers? Great video! Thanks for uploading. One reason why I love You Tube you get so many videos here you don't see anywhere else!
How does one get into this business? An incredibly talented friend I know that currently sculpts for a major toy company has been trying to break into film for years with very little success. Any advice?

sometimes.........dont you mean ALWAYS
wait if slimer is a ghost when did he die?
Snot Nose The Goblin you mean that big commedian?
In the Comics it’s said he was some sort of king that died of gluttony. That has since been retconned.
Don't you live in Tennessee?
So does this mean Slimer is the ghost of Belushi? I guess that explains why he speaks in nonsensical, racist gibberish
You're not familiar with the Samurai character he portrayed on SNL, are you?
