Have to say that I believe branding is about experience. Example have a good coffee your going back and your telling all your friends it’s a great coffee, have a bad experience or coffee! Your not going back. The experience is everything. Love the show.
yeah about how it makes you feel & the memories you form around that. the same way you do about a person, you might love bad people because you've had good times and bonded w them. I was a BMW guy but before I ever got a BMW I got a Mercedes & the expieriences it gave me in driving it & the way the world treated me for pulling up in definitely did more to associate the brand positively & for me to tie it in whatever way to my identity. it makes me feel good, & also I believe it matches the attitude I already like to have. I'd describe it as regal, but a little dark & shady 😂
Elon with Tesla is a perfect example. Once Elon started becoming more polarizing in the media, Tesla began to truly blow up. Every major company needs a superstar that represents the entire brand and it’s message, and then people will automatically become super fans of the company
Getting into his mind by expertly knocking down his psychological walls and making him tingle with feelings of pleasure, means you're doing it right. There are many so called "canned phrases" to make it happen, for example go’ogling something like Celestine Dessike's Words of Desire was the perfect formula for me
He actually didn’t add much value to the video, you’ve been adding more value than him. I got nothing at this video, and I watched all your videos, and I’m not trying to fly to you either, and no disrespect to him, there was no actionable strategy.
Sorry you didn't get more value... My biggest take away was common denominator of Brand Love and Passion. Where you can align your brand with the passions of your audience, you put yourself in the mix for affection from your audience. The actionable steps then would be to uncover exactly how you can use your own passion to evoke your audience's passion through your brand experience and your content
I believe he added quite a lot of value, but have in mind he is a researcher and an academic. You must understand that he communicates differently than you would expect a brand builder/expert/strategist to communicate. I’ve been able to get so much out of this, and I finally got some questions answered, especially around the area of brand personality, objectification, etc.
