When you’re strong you can resist being controlled and chandler was just able to escape being choked and did a quick scramble to reverse position.

Thing is I've been watching Charles for years and he already has those attributes but he folds under pressure just like Cowboy. You can't be a champion if you quit when shit doesn't go your way. Only then he managed to fix this issue and is recently recovering through lost rounds/moments and manages to win through bad moments that can cost him the fight. Hence the 9 fight win streak he currently holds. Any other fighter or mixed martial artist will say the same and that is to never underestimate the mental side of fighting, hell even in anything that involves competition/sports.

I jumped and celebrated with my brother. We both started watching MMA in 09’ when I was 13. I remember when Charles first came to the UFC. What a fantastic journey. I’m so happy for this Man. Literally couldn’t stop smiling.

The first time I cried while watching an MMA fight. It was so emotional. I remember saying to myself Charles show them what you got, even when he got knockdown i said come on prove them wrong. And when he won it was also telling me that I can achieve my dreams if I really want it.
