We did a GYTR turbo on a YXZ. It was fast but then we did an Alba tune with exhaust and it was NIGHT AND DAY!!! It literally leaves X3’s in the dust!

Two types of tires. Grip level is way more on the Can Am.
The XR Version is the rock climbing version with bigger wheels and larger shocks while the Yamaha is the dune version.
Smaller wheels rotate faster

Nice videos, I'm planning on getting the silber turbo kit for my 2018 yxz1000r 3 peddle this season. It's just a starting point for the 300-350whp journey she's going to be going on
350whp is gonna move big time haha. The silber kit won't get you there as the turbo is very small compared to other kits. Around 12psi seems to be all you can get out of it.

Switch the shocks around on the X3 in the front. Right to left and left to right with the reservoirs out. Looks way better.

4:52 Turbo Yamaha YXZ starting torque is very nice but after 100 PHKM gradually down and secondly issue of the muddy tyre not perfect for the road.

Yxz pulls hard off the line always likes them but I’m an x3 guy at least now I know the rr is dominant in racing even tuned turbo cars. I never really cared about racing ever but last year and a half ago I had a krx which is an awesome machine but it’s a dog and everything wanted to race me it was annoying we’ll see what happens this year with my x3 rr only if I’m called out I guess I’m not boasting there’s badder machines out there for sure and honestly 195 hp is way way more than you’ll ever need but lol it’s like buying a hellcat always wanted a hellcat so why not have that same mentality in a sxs lol.
The thing maybe really cool if can am one year put a semi automatic with paddle shift transmision in the x3.

GYTR kit with Alba make 8lbs and front tires are still hopping at 50mph. Just sayin'

Yep, revalving helps majorly apparently but x3 is miles ahead suspension wise
also 2019 yxz can handle 200 hp and carry warranty because it cones with stonger connecting rods that one of the reasons iam buying a new one so everybody knows the newer models can handle boost
Yep the gytr rods the 2019 and up have can handle a bit of boost. In canada they discontinued the standard shift 1000R model by then so we can't get them here unfortunately, only paddle shift
yes I know I have a 2016 manual iam getting the paddle shift in the spring hoping the paddle will be as fun as manual iam in bc here do you like the yxz over the x3 I was thinking about x3 but felt like belt drive would not be as fun
X3 a better overall machine, much much better suspension, works alot better in technical situations and crawling but yxz is very well built and very fun to drive, i really enjoy it so far.

not a fair comparison if you use the turbo that was made for it a gytr turbo it'll be 180 hp ad tune and you at 200 hp that's at low boost that carries warranty
This was mentioned in the video, yxz is still down about 50hp compared to stock x3

no I know but check the hp of a yxz with gytr turbo on it the yxz with turbo will make 180 plus hp your turbo is not a good turbo
just look at yxz stats with a gytr turbo
a gytr turbo adds 60 percent more power than a stock yxz do the math your at 180 hp just so people know
