Yes, cup of coffee and time for another one of your videos, I used my new hammock last Sunday on my first wild camp in about 20 years. It was really comfy apart from getting eaten my mosquitos before I got in it. I've started looking at different round abouts in my area. Some look really busy, but they're pretty big, I'll be scouting some out in about 2 week for my next wild camp. If you're someone watching this and you want to do it, then do it. It's blooming awesome. Just be careful and stay stealthy, keep it tidy and no noise. Respect the wildlife plants and trees, and it is good for your body and mind. Enjoy. Does anyone else want to try ham dipped into pot noodles now 😂
You're so good at this! I look for you everyday after work when I turn on UA-cam! I am coming home to the UK soon, to Plymouth, actually, and I will be watching out for that church where you camped!😅
Great video! My brothers and I are going to start an annual canoe trip this summer. We used to do it when we were young with my parents. We are all getting older and don’t have much time for each other anymore. It will be a great bonding experience! Say yea to the U.P. Ehhh?!?!
Oh yeah and get a second paddle. Also tie about 10 meters of 9mm rope to each end of your canoe. Use floating polypropylene or add so.e sort of a float to the one on the stern. If you get dumped and your canoe gets away or sinks you will need to have a floating line to be able to recover it.
Cool canoe most people are selfish and have single person kayaks. Sorry about the camera saw you found it hopefully it is salvageable. Have fun be safe.
I used to smoke a lot of weed and in all of my stoned food creations I’ve never thought of the simple dipping ham in a pot noodle but I will be trying it 😂
This has got to be the most British video I've ever watched !! Dreary miserable weather, pot noodle for tea, camera going overboard, arse crack sticking out of the jeans..... 🤣 Awesome stuff - Keep up the good work! New sub from me 👍
Oh dear, TIE EVERYTHING TO THE BOAT! Especially if you're in a wobbly narrow boat because those things will inevitably tip over. I use an inflatable row boat, it's easy to carry around in a bag so I can take it anywhere. Nice to see some Winter boating too, it seems most people say, "I'll be out there in the Summer." Lame!
I wonder what the land owners don't want you to see whilst navigating the river? I always believed if the water is flowing then it is a natural throw access? I may be wrong.
Nice video buddy 😀 stumbled across your channel, and looking forward to catching up on your videos 👍 I like that you seem to embrace the 'unknown' in a way I think most of us would
I can't believe how calm you were when the Camera went overboard, I'd of been spitting feathers 😂. Great video though, the Canoe seems like a peaceful way to get about on water.
Recommend tying a 'painter' cord to your Canoe, so that you can keep hold of it whilst embarking, or disembarking. Nothing worse than being on dry land and watching your Canoe float off !!!
@@offcamping You remind me of a typical southern Englander bedsit man. Randomly eating the Tesco sandwiches, doing your thing and just being understated in speech and action. It's a genre that has surprisingly not been filled yet in your camping sector. It's a good selling point because audiences are now craving real people, they've had enough of plastic fantastic fake nonsense. Too polished now comes as fake, and that no longer impresses anyone. People want to see UA-camrs warts and all. So you'll do well if you keep it up and stay creative.
Respect for going into the water to retrieve your camera and tripod ! Might there be any way of claiming for the camera on your Home Insurance, such as it 'fell into a sink full of water' ... ???
living in France there are hundreds of thousands of KMs privately owned rivers and waterways.. they own the land and not the water and anyone can navigate through freely. Laws of trespass don't exist but pick up a cep in their woodland make sure you've got a flak jacket on.
Billy, I've been a kayaker for years and learnt the hard way with things "falling off". An old saying is "leash it or lose it". Tie a string to your items and the canoe or yourself. simple but effective. Keep them coming.
Nice, you got it!! I saw your 20 sec vid last night and it looked doubtful you'd get that back. The camera is knackered obviously, no amount of rice will fix that 😆but was the memory card alright?
we're you running from the attacking goose, when the Camera went in? Awwe that sucks that you lost the Camera! really nice canoe though! thanks for the Vid Billy! Keep up the good work Friend!
Hi Billy I'm steve other half of the cranky campers little tip mate I've learnt from kayaks works on canoes tie a lanyard to your your vessel or at piece of rope when landing on land so if vessel kicks away from you as you get on dry land you can always pull your vessel back to you good video as always mate 👍
Maybe carry a hook and line with you on a regular basis, you could use it for when you're trying to get on the bank and also if you drop something over board. Hope the camera was salvageable.
Great video, glad you got that camera back. One thing I was going to say was to never put the stove in the canoe, as I'm sure you know that you can't have your kayak and heat it....
Billy, you are ok to paddle up most water ways. It’s if you use a motor it causes problems. Trespass is only if you hope up on a bank on private land, even trespass is only a civil matter & not a criminal offence. By the way where did you get the canoe? Looks fab
Cool camera shots on the paddle back
Brilliant video pal
Nice canoe
Brilliant channel pal keep up the good work👍
Awesome 👍 I am inspired!!

You are funny and fun 😊 Great camp and canoeing!
You're so good at this! I look for you everyday after work when I turn on UA-cam! I am coming home to the UK soon, to Plymouth, actually, and I will be watching out for that church where you camped!😅
That’s nuts!
Nice canoe. You want to get yourself down the Caledonian and do some camps there
Have you thought about attaching mooring lines? Or a line around the boat outer?

Looks warm. A balmy -17 Celsius here today
You're so anxious on this camp., get it, we've all been there. But really.., on that camp, no reason. All the best, Monty.
Glad to see you out there. Yeah I guess you know now. Tie down everything

That's good advice thank you.
Legend still 🙌
I've had to do that for my car keys before 😆 🤣 😂
Cool canoe most people are selfish and have single person kayaks. Sorry about the camera saw you found it hopefully it is salvageable. Have fun be safe.
Sharp intake of breath as camera went over 😲
I do a lot of camping and kayak camping so I thought I'd check your channel out 😁👍
Thanks for checking it out mate
I used to smoke a lot of weed and in all of my stoned food creations I’ve never thought of the simple dipping ham in a pot noodle but I will be trying it 😂
Should it be first canou, than frist csnouy
If it wasn't for bad luck you'd have no luck at all. Glad you got it back.
This has got to be the most British video I've ever watched !! Dreary miserable weather, pot noodle for tea, camera going overboard, arse crack sticking out of the jeans..... 🤣 Awesome stuff - Keep up the good work! New sub from me 👍
glad you enjoyed it mate thanks for subbing
No.1 stealthcamper UK
A rare sighting at this time of year of the lesser spotted Amphibious Billy. _Billius Eatpotnoodlus_
Did you ever manage to get the camera working again?
What a frist day
You need to make a cowboy roll bed thay are epic 👍
ill look it up
Have you ever thought of tying up the canoe, throwing a cover over it and sleeping inside it probably moving the seat first lol.
Something different from you Billy. Cheers I enjoyed.
Gez, you're up to 17+k subscribers. Awesome. I remember 300?
👍👍👍👍👍🤙

You're gonna get ripped for that pot noodle 😂
I wonder what the land owners don't want you to see whilst navigating the river? I always believed if the water is flowing then it is a natural throw access? I may be wrong.
bro down to the togs,,, 100% dedication right there 💪👏👏👏👏 I won't go in unless it's 30 deg's 😂😂😂 🇦🇺/🇬🇧 Miss blighty 🍻
What camera was that that went underwater and did it ever work again? Sods law that it wasn't the GoPro that went in, which would've been fine.
It was a canon M50 definitely not waterproof
Great video. Hope you can salvage your footage. We'll done on retrieving it
thanks mate. yeah card was good
How much was the kayak
Oh Billy said it before say it again “I fookin love you” you cheer me up no end..
Appreciate it buddy
Comedy gold……. I hope!
Enjoyed the difference of you canoeing there, shame about your camera n tripod! I would have been swearing loudly! Guess the tripod is okay?
We're u able to retrieve the footage or did it not survive the water.?
In fact thinking about it you must of as I watched footage from the tri pod, unless that was from a different sd card.
Find somewhere with a Moat ... then you can take your Canoe on a 'Roundabout Adventure' ... 😂
You lost your camera and tripod....and you`re still chilled....fair play to you, sh*t happen`s.
Did the camera work after?
No mate it gone
@@offcamping ahh gutted. Nevermind. At least you got tripod back
made up the guy found your camera for you pal 👍
you should be able to recover the data from the SD card and sell the camera on ebay as water damaged.
brilliant vid Billy
Sent a tenner towards a new camera, hope you get one soon. Glad you got the card and tripod back at least. Keep up the good work!
Billy you sir have balls of steel, it must of been freezing!
Wounded about your camera dude.. hopefully you manage to mend it .... I wouldn't have been that calm though 🤣🤣
we were exploring a round about near by the other day and we half expected to come round a tree and find offcamping eating a cream cake ha ha ha ;)
Can just imagine a lorry driver glancing over when you're in the river & thinking wtf 🤣🤣
I have a kayak. I love kayak/canoe camping. You can get to places people on foot can't. Is that camera a GoPro ? I thought they are waterproof ?
Nice video buddy 😀 stumbled across your channel, and looking forward to catching up on your videos 👍 I like that you seem to embrace the 'unknown' in a way I think most of us would
Good job getting your camer back mate. You dealt with that in a very chilled out manner.
This comment is for the ranking calculations. Thank you for the video!
Your accidents make you all the more likeable. My favourite is still you testing your bushcraft chair🤣
Lol, can imagine those drivers thinking what's that dude doing in the river 🤣🤣.
Very funny, glad you got it back 👍
Still getting over the channel name change 😝👍🇨🇦
Whats up with it
I can't believe how calm you were when the Camera went overboard, I'd of been spitting feathers 😂. Great video though, the Canoe seems like a peaceful way to get about on water.
I nearly went in for it but I was worried about the canoe going in
Aye aye Billy.
Recommend tying a 'painter' cord to your Canoe, so that you can keep hold of it whilst embarking, or disembarking. Nothing worse than being on dry land and watching your Canoe float off !!!
Nothing beats endless days on the River.
This has got to be the most bedsit English Monty python sketch on the net..
Explain

Well done dude, the content has really improved, not saying it was bad in the beginning BTW. Just an observation dude, love it
how can you stealth camp when it sounds like you snore when youre awake
Glad you got your camera back dude!
We still owe you a Christmas gift; new camera?

@@offcamping cheap carabiners and some paracord matey. that'll do. i think there's some shown on my kayak vids

Did you try saving the camera? Take the battery off, open any accessory doors and stick it in a bag of rice. Let it dry for a couple days.
Great video mate
So sketchy getting bk in the canoe ain't it, either goes 2 ways, smooth or ur straight in🤣🤣
Brilliant. These could be fantastic trips in the summer on the canoe. Tales of the Riverbank.😀
Yeah be fun to see how far I can go in it
I wonder if there's a roundabout with a river running through it?
There is. The magic roundabout in hemel Hempstead
Love your uploads mate. Thanks 🤟🤟
