i was searching for a game to teach my kids to pay attention and gain a competitive spirit. this one looks very easy to learn and has some entertaining group energy. thanks!
GREAT video btw. I sorta see the appeal of the game. but I also see where it wouldn't last for most people. It's like War and it can take forever going back and forth. I can see where most deck delimited games like Anomia and Ghost Blitz get more love because you have a distinct end game.
3:25 The slow motion is very funny. and in this case there are 3 people with saem shape. when we play, the winner gets to choose who will get the cards.
This case: At time: 2:03 minute when special cards pups up. when the middle put the card at the middle (under the totem), so then the next person who lose the duel will grab them (along with his discard cards and his opponent's discard cards)? But anyway - the same person who won by grabbing totem first when he saw the special card and putting the card under the totem - he still may lose the next challenge and grab all those cards - and does not matter where he was first identifying special card or not?
@pownedagain Ow, now I see! But what if west player had square as well? What I mean is what if neither of the duelists see the duel and grab for the totem. Will their duel be "over"?
I think there should be new rules to this: 1. in case of a successful slow-motion grabbing - the person who loses the dual, grabs all the players' cards. 2. in case of an unsuccessful slow-motion grabbing - the person who made the mistake shall not play for like 3 rounds or so... :-)
they only participate during the special (the colored arrow card) card and applies for every player when two identical colors appears grab the totem and to my knowledge this goes on until the special card is no longer in play sorry for my poor english but i hope it helped
2:35 - Now we will play at normal speed.... 3:25 - "Super Slo-mo" :-) Note you didn't mention: if there is a match between 3 or more players the winner gets to choose who will get the discard piles
I work with a group of 10 students and I was planning to use Jungle Speed but it seems too fast and violent for them. Is this ok for extremely competitive 12 y.o. kids?!
the tie breaker we play is a wrestle to the death! lot more fun/ violent

Same here, we play it with wind band xD
Thanks!
What if we all flip our cards simultaniously and we have 3 matched cards?

The lady won..... seriously, whenever I played Speed or Spoons(similar card games) with my sister, she always won.
Reflecting is bad in such games.
Who can go for the totem? Any player or just those who played the matching cards?
@pownedagain

@Fotsirvelk if you see in the middle you will see at west player an circle, the north and south players got square

We play it where who ever does not get the stick, takes everybodys cards not matter what, more fun that way
Fuck that's so hard when you're hella drunk.

what happend if you have as last card Blue arrows pointing inwards when the other player pick up the tottem first?

I getted that on 2018 chirstmas its almost 2019
if he had square then is an triple duel the one that grabs its he sais at who he will gieve his cards!
Better with wooden totem in my opinion.

BTW, I rewatched. I have a question at 3:26. Why does the north player have to take the cards and not you (west player).
No no no. That's not how you test who has the best grip on the totem.
Is the totem in this video wooden or plastic?
We play it more violently... :D
I still don´t understand the colours rule.
What a game. Really some amazing things happened to me today. Found some new friends. Hasan is dumb
