funny, my number 1 and 2 are exactly the same. Just got a copy of Spirit Island recently, this game is amazing! But Mage Knight... Mage Knight... This one is at another level. Favorite game of all time too. It is just too good!
Its a pretty good part of the game lol. As a lover of mage knight, other peoples turns are super dang fun for me still just because I get to see my friends love mage knight, but still solo mode is nice 😂

I have been playing Spirit Island with my wife a lot during the lockdown. What an amazing game! The two of us are prone to Analysis Paralysis, which means that one single game of Spirit Island can take quite a while, but it is time well spent. It does not feel long at all.
so dope! Man. Honestly, since I made this video, I've played A TON more spirit island and it actually became my #1 favorite game, surpassing mage knight!! Seriously an amazing game. It's inspirational to me on so many levels, and invokes more imagination in me than any other game!

Soo I've gone a bit crazy in the last 2 months. I've purchased Mage Knight: Ultimate, Chronicles of Crime, Nemo's War, 51st State, Marvel Legendary, 7th Continent, Clank!, Arkham Horror:LCG, and Empires of the North. ... pretty sure I need help

Cool looking games, but if you are going to spend most of your time playing Mage Knight by yourself maybe you need another channel called "Being Alone".
My solo list consists of only two games, spirit island and mage knight. No other games deserve comparison to those. And those also works very well with 2-4 players.
My husband loves Mage Knight Solo. Right now I do not have much time for gaming because of writing and working on my thesis. So my husband has time to game and play board games

@@wronggeometry unfortunately I've only played Wingspan out of all those games. However I do highly recommend Wingspan. It's an excellent engine building game. The art is also superb!. There are basically 2 single player difficulties, but I always found the easier one still a challenge. So far all of the my games haven't really been the same either since there are so many birds you can play and all their powers really mix it too. Plus now there's the expansion which I recently picked up. If you can't pick up the physical game, you can always buy the digital version on Steam. Highly commended. Respond if you do pick it up digitally, maybe we can play a game or two. The neat thing about the digital version are the art is animated and the games don't NEED to be finished in one go, since the sessions can be paused.
I have Mage Knight and I’m sticking to it because of all the high solo praise but man I’m struggling to figure out why I’m not leveling fast enough and how to get into the game. I love soloing A Feast for Odin and Viticulture Essential Edition with Tuscany. My next heavy game to get is Gaia Project or Spirit Island but I can’t get both and have to choose one! Eek! Hey! Interesting! Yeah it is definitely a super challenging game, and sometimes it's not clear how you're supposed to do better! I'd say my biggest advice to beginners is usually not to be too afraid of wounds! Take risks early on to get early Fame and leveling up as soon as possible! And if possible, have a plan to heal those wounds as soon as you can! Also, feel free to mod the game to make it easier by playing Blitz conquests and increasing the amount of fame you get as much as you want! This will help you get a feel for how the game is played and I think that could help you improve!! Good luck! I need to play Feast for Odin! And I love Viticulture! I definitely need to try it solo again, and play with Tuscany this time around! I've only played Gaia Project one time and dang it is super good. I would still go with Spirit Island though! It's not quite as heavy but it's alot more affordable and I think you'll likely be able to get it to the table alot more often! I really enjoy Friday! I played Raxxon solo the other night. I lost by being overrun by the infected zombies and only saved 22 of the 30 healthy people. I am thinking I should start playing 7th Contintent while having this time at home.
Oh dang nice! I haven't heard of Raxxon but that seems super fun!! Yes 7th Continent would for sure be a good choice. Crazy good game. I've only ever played it 2 players, but I could see the solo mode being really good.

My partner loves Quacks of Quedlingburg, Raiders of the North Sea and Wingspan. Finally, our daughters are absolutely obsessed with Meeple Circus at the moment ❤️

@@BeingFriends My favourite Nemesis so far has been the wanderer, very unique and took a couple tries to figure out a good strategy. I've only played the new age w/ the ancients expansion so far. Arachnos is very frustrating and I've only found a few strategies that work against him. My favourite mage is probably Rhia or Gygar of the ones I've played so far, Rhia is super cool and has some sweet combos with some treasures and relics and Gygar can ramp up and get extremely powerful later on with his unique breach effect. I haven't tried 2-handed solo yet, I've only played true solo and it is challenging, there are some cards that just don't work as well when you don't have another mage but you can still find ways around. I love the expedition mode and I've actually been tracking the few that I've done, looking forward to expanding my options after I get some more expansions/games.
@@Tagola08 Sounds super cool! We only have the base set, War Eternal, and whatever the first little expansion was so far! So I haven't seen any of those! One of these days we will have every single expansion! I'm so excited for whenever we do!! I'm definitely looking forward to trying it out solo! I think I'll likely prefer two handed for Aeons End! Also we got Aeons End Legacy in the mail right before quarantine! I'm so excited to finally get that to the table dang.

I looked into Cloudspire.. It looks fantastic! Super high on my wishlist now! They are doing a reprint on Kickstarter along with an expansion! Sadly $130 seemed like too much to drop :/ But then something crazy happened. I heard about Skytear, which is a new card driven miniatures game, also inspired by Moba's, and over a couple purchases, I've already dropped close to $160.. gosh dangit. I'm so stoked for Skytear though! One day I'll absolutely have to pick up Cloudspire though! Especially casue I've heard from you as well as many others that it's a fantastic solo game! Which is always nice.
Such a good list! Spirit Island and Mage Knight are up there for me (except I think Spirit Island only plays well solo if you control two gods - synergy is the most fun). Two other games that I've sunk a lot of time into solo are Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective and The 7th Continent. The latter I've probably played over 100 hours solo and have enjoyed every minute. Looking forward to seeing more of your vids!

Burgle Bros and Undertow from the Too Many Bones series are my favorite solo games! They are easy to play solo by playing two characters, and replay ability is endless.
Have you tried "too many bones"? its super dope solo or co-op! i think you'll like it if you like the fun of upgrading your character and a challenging experience.

I haven’t tried Gloomhaven solo either! I’m sure I’d like it. Ive only played gloomhaven a few times, although I particularly love to cooperation in it, so idk if solo would be nearly as good! Though I guess I feel that way about most solo modes 😂😂 Thanks for the recommendation though! I really do need to play more gloomhaven, regardless of if it’s solo or not!

@@BeingFriends I've played all of them. :) Mage Knight and Spirit Island are the 2 top rated solo games on the 1 Player Guild on BGG. MK is and for almost 10 years has been my favorite. I've a channel myself here on YT that talks almost exclusively about solo tabletop gaming, if you're interested. I have mage knight ultimate edition, but haven't really gotten My Head around it. I remember a confusing hunt through the rule book trying to figgire out what to do. I'm thinking of getting into it solo, learning to play and actually experience it. Because it sure isn't doing much good on the shelf, not being played.
definitely do it!! it’s brilliant albeit a bit complicated going into it. once you understand the rules the game plays quite smoothly and simply and the complexity in general is all in the decision making! though there are certain aspects that are just plain complex loll. watch some playthroughs! Ricky Royals solo walkthrough is a fantastic starting place. the entire mage knight community pretty much idolizes ricky royal 😂😂
I know this is a couple years ago, and am new to single player board games. I just bought the Fallout game and expansion packs, and I loved this game a lot! Looking at Mage Knight, and Spirit Island, I think I want those. If you played Fallout what are your thoughts?

Definitely check out spirit island! since this video came out i’ve played it about 10 more times and have fell in love with it even more! It’s actually seriously threatening Mage Knight for the #1 spot! I would say that even though Mage Knight is super replayable, Spirit Island actually takes the cake! Spirit Island is likely the most replayable game of all time in my opinion! And ive heard the same thing from many other people! While in mage knight there’s tons to explore, it’s almost more “i wanna play mage knight” then you do play it and it’s great. compared to spirit island, where you are always thinking about what spirits you wanna play and potentially what teams of spirits you wanna try together (if you’re playing coop or multihanded) and then if you want you can play one of the many scenarios, and even one of the adversaries which make the invaders more challenging and give them a unique playstyle! on top of that, the adversaries have 10 difficulty levels and you can combine them with any of the scenarios. There’s nearly infinite replayability here. Man I love it.
Being Friends crikey that sounds great actually! I love trying different combos when I play (I’m thinking Onirim here lol) and this idea of combining different spirits in teams to get a different synergy is very compelling... I do think about MK when I’m not playing but it’s more “which scenario do I want to play next”- and so your comment makes me think SI could add this combo element, I’m very interested now. I just got it this weekend and I love it. and yeah, i think about mage knight when im not playing too, but theres something sweet about the times in between playing or right before playing where you just get to decide HOW you want to play this time around! I feel the same about Aeons End too!!! Choosing characters, and cards for the supply that combo well is sucha fun thing. And then on top of that all the nemeses you can choose to fight :DDD exactly like SI with the Adversaries.

I will probably pick up another Oniverse game at some point but struggle to decide which- Aerion doesn’t appeal so much but as we share similar taste in games I’ll take a more serious look- Sylvion or Nautillion seemed more up my alley. Aeon’s end is definitely on my list I just need to decide whether I get legacy or original, or maybe war eternal- which did you get?? For now though Gloomhaven is keeping me busy, I got it recently for solo and OMG it is an absolute juggernaut and very very hard to get good at playing on your own and managing 2/3 characters at once- very cool though :)!

I need to really check those out more. I will also recommend Nemo’s War, Solo only game. 20,0000 leagues Under The Sea storyline!! It’s awesome!!

Being Friends - Hey there. I have not yet played Robinson Crusoe or Spirit Island. They both seem really good and somewhat complex. I’m hoping not as complex as Mage Knight though, because even though MK is the king of complexity, I would like my other games to be somewhat lighter. In other words, I don’t want every game I play/own to be a brain burner! I do like lighter games. Nemo’s War fits this really good by the way! I’m also considering the new Castles of Burgundy anniversary edition. Basically, I don’t own any worker placement games, and I’m looking for a good 1st game of that style to invest in! 😁
@@Tombonzo Yeah that makes a lot of sense! I would say in terms of complexity if Mage Knight is 4/5 I'd say Spirit Island is 3.5/5 and Robinson Crusoe is 3/5! All are pretty complex and offer a ton of really interesting decisions!!! Robinson Crusoe is probably the simplest of the three, but Spirit Island with only 1 or 2 players, isn't too bad either! Yeah, Nemo's War does seem like a pretty good choice as a sorta lighter game in your collection! So, technically Castles of Burgundy isn't a worker placement game, but I will say it is insanely good and I definitely recommend it! I need to play it more!

Will the base mage knight be ok? I checked amazon and ultimate edition is $270!! Oh wait it’s op in amazon it seems. If not just a base game, which one expansion would you recommend
I wouldn't spend any more than $120 on Ultimate Edition! So, the base game may just be the way to go. Though, I think they are currently reprinting Ultimate Edition, so it could be worth it to just wait. Most people agree that the base game and just the Lost Legion expansion is PLENTY of replayability to last forever!

I've been really wanting to get Xia for a loooong time now! and I recently became interested in Nemo's War!! Honestly I would say either Mage Knight or Spirit Island both sound like you'd love them! Do either of those sound interesting to you?? Xia in particular sounds interesting to me, because I was looking for another epic game that feels super sandboxy to me like Mage Knight does!
Have you considered one of GMT's COIN games? The learning curve is somewhat daunting, but the AI works really well. I'm currently cutting my teeth on Falling Sky: The Gallic Revolt against Caesar. Difficult to learn, challenging to play. It takes a few plays to get rid of all the small rules mistakes you will make, but I really like it.

Card backs have slight tone difference, most notable in hirelings decks; expansion's round tokens may be smaller by 1 or 2 mm; people also reported missing cards, sometimes complete decks. Some of these errors even come from the regular editions. There were supposed to fix them for this new edition. My copy was complete except for Goldyx's head, but still I can see the card back tone error.
Great and solid list ! One other great solo game that has not been mentioned here is Marvel Champions: The Card Game. Constructive critique: The cutter/editor did not do you a favour, as the barrage of fast cuts makes it look as if you can't say a single sentence without editing -- sometimes a cut literally involves one single word. ;D Hope that - did not - sound - too - harsh ... ;) PS: Thanks for your 7 tips video on Spirit Island !
thanks! Yeah i've only played Champions one time, and while I enjoyed it, I'm not a huge Marvel fan so it didn't really hook me! Not nearly as much as way too many other collectible games 😂😂 Yeahh.. Since this video, I've gotten much much better at delivering lines, and yes, I can now say a single sentence without editing 😂 Granted, we still cut out long pauses that happen when I'm thinking of what to say mid sentence sometimes, but it's much much less abrasive nowadays!! While I really enjoy Marvel Champions: The Card Game and also its quasi-predecessor The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game (with MC having replaced LotR for me), I actually never cared for their themes either. The games are that good, delivering to me the arguably best solo game experience to this day. If only there would be a DC version ... I started playing Spirit Island a week ago and played it solo 3 times by now. I had the game on my radar since it was announced, as I love cooperative games and this one is (as you might agree) quite unique in many ways, from its theme to the fact that it's a cooperative area control game. Funny that you mention a list of top favourite spirits, because I recently started a poll in the community regarding which spirits are best-suited and most fun when played solo/single-handedly. I just told this to someone else who recommended Cloudspire to me! Figured I'd share it with you too :) I looked into Cloudspire.. It looks fantastic! Super high on my wishlist now! They are doing a reprint on Kickstarter along with an expansion! Sadly $130 seemed like too much to drop :/ But then something crazy happened. I heard about Skytear, which is a new card driven miniatures game, also inspired by Moba's, and over a couple purchases, I've already dropped close to $160.. gosh dangit. I'm so stoked for Skytear though!
I just heard about Guards of Atlantis! Cool to hear theres a 2nd one coming! I can't afford any more games rn cause of Skytear but thanks for sharing! Hopefully one day I'll be able to play both that and Cloudspire! And hopefully one day you can play Skytear! It is so good.

I've bought gloomhaven expecting it to be my favorite of all time, but it isn't until now...and I see a lot of people talking about mage knight. Is it really that good and worth it, or will I regret buying it? Can someone help me with that decision? PS: I love narrative type of games, and lord of the rings journeys in the middle earth is one of favorite. I'm sharing this just to fit as an example
I think that Mage Knight is one of the best games ever of course so I find it to be worth it for sure!! It’s different than those kind of narrative games, because it’s not story based in any way, but it does tell a story. It’s hard to explain, but it, more than any other game, feels like a journey that you’re immersed into. It’s legendary.

You’re description of mage knight is seriously lacking my guy. You didn’t describe how the game is played at all and repeating that it’s amazing isn’t sufficient. I’ll have to reference another video
Artwork, narratives, combinations of different investigators, the theme and everything else. The only thing that l don't like is playing Eldritch Horror multiplayer, l think it's better to solo. But that's just me, some people find it better with 2-3 players.

I would recommend using a simple fade transition to avoid the jumpiness between clips. Thanks for posting the videos: they look enjoyable to watch otherwise.

I have been playing Spirit Island with my wife a lot during the lockdown. What an amazing game! The two of us are prone to Analysis Paralysis, which means that one single game of Spirit Island can take quite a while, but it is time well spent. It does not feel long at all.
so dope! Man. Honestly, since I made this video, I've played A TON more spirit island and it actually became my #1 favorite game, surpassing mage knight!! Seriously an amazing game. It's inspirational to me on so many levels, and invokes more imagination in me than any other game!
Get an expansion then. I have Jagged Earth, it's great, adds a tad of randomness and a LOT of depth. Will definitely get more expansions later.

Nice choices; Robinson Crusoe is a personal favourite for solo and multiplayer. Arkham Horror is another great one on the epic side of solo play.

@@wronggeometry unfortunately I've only played Wingspan out of all those games. However I do highly recommend Wingspan. It's an excellent engine building game. The art is also superb!. There are basically 2 single player difficulties, but I always found the easier one still a challenge. So far all of the my games haven't really been the same either since there are so many birds you can play and all their powers really mix it too. Plus now there's the expansion which I recently picked up.
If you can't pick up the physical game, you can always buy the digital version on Steam. Highly commended. Respond if you do pick it up digitally, maybe we can play a game or two. The neat thing about the digital version are the art is animated and the games don't NEED to be finished in one go, since the sessions can be paused.

I have Mage Knight and I’m sticking to it because of all the high solo praise but man I’m struggling to figure out why I’m not leveling fast enough and how to get into the game. I love soloing A Feast for Odin and Viticulture Essential Edition with Tuscany. My next heavy game to get is Gaia Project or Spirit Island but I can’t get both and have to choose one! Eek! Great video and nice name!
Hey! Interesting! Yeah it is definitely a super challenging game, and sometimes it's not clear how you're supposed to do better! I'd say my biggest advice to beginners is usually not to be too afraid of wounds! Take risks early on to get early Fame and leveling up as soon as possible! And if possible, have a plan to heal those wounds as soon as you can! Also, feel free to mod the game to make it easier by playing Blitz conquests and increasing the amount of fame you get as much as you want! This will help you get a feel for how the game is played and I think that could help you improve!! Good luck!
I need to play Feast for Odin! And I love Viticulture! I definitely need to try it solo again, and play with Tuscany this time around!
I've only played Gaia Project one time and dang it is super good. I would still go with Spirit Island though! It's not quite as heavy but it's alot more affordable and I think you'll likely be able to get it to the table alot more often! I really enjoy Friday! I played Raxxon solo the other night. I lost by being overrun by the infected zombies and only saved 22 of the 30 healthy people. I am thinking I should start playing 7th Contintent while having this time at home.

Heck yea!!! I was just telling someone else, I LOVE Aeons End but haven't gotten to play the solo mode yet! I'm sure its great. Tell me, who's your all time favorite character to play? And which is your favorite Nemesis??
@@BeingFriends My favourite Nemesis so far has been the wanderer, very unique and took a couple tries to figure out a good strategy. I've only played the new age w/ the ancients expansion so far. Arachnos is very frustrating and I've only found a few strategies that work against him. My favourite mage is probably Rhia or Gygar of the ones I've played so far, Rhia is super cool and has some sweet combos with some treasures and relics and Gygar can ramp up and get extremely powerful later on with his unique breach effect.
I haven't tried 2-handed solo yet, I've only played true solo and it is challenging, there are some cards that just don't work as well when you don't have another mage but you can still find ways around. I love the expedition mode and I've actually been tracking the few that I've done, looking forward to expanding my options after I get some more expansions/games.

Such a good list! Spirit Island and Mage Knight are up there for me (except I think Spirit Island only plays well solo if you control two gods - synergy is the most fun).
Two other games that I've sunk a lot of time into solo are Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective and The 7th Continent. The latter I've probably played over 100 hours solo and have enjoyed every minute.

Burgle Bros and Undertow from the Too Many Bones series are my favorite solo games! They are easy to play solo by playing two characters, and replay ability is endless.
Have you tried "too many bones"? its super dope solo or co-op! i think you'll like it if you like the fun of upgrading your character and a challenging experience.

I haven’t tried Gloomhaven solo either! I’m sure I’d like it. Ive only played gloomhaven a few times, although I particularly love to cooperation in it, so idk if solo would be nearly as good! Though I guess I feel that way about most solo modes 😂😂 Thanks for the recommendation though! I really do need to play more gloomhaven, regardless of if it’s solo or not!

I have mage knight ultimate edition, but haven't really gotten My Head around it. I remember a confusing hunt through the rule book trying to figgire out what to do.
I'm thinking of getting into it solo, learning to play and actually experience it. Because it sure isn't doing much good on the shelf, not being played.
definitely do it!! it’s brilliant albeit a bit complicated going into it. once you understand the rules the game plays quite smoothly and simply and the complexity in general is all in the decision making! though there are certain aspects that are just plain complex loll.
watch some playthroughs! Ricky Royals solo walkthrough is a fantastic starting place. the entire mage knight community pretty much idolizes ricky royal 😂😂

I know this is a couple years ago, and am new to single player board games. I just bought the Fallout game and expansion packs, and I loved this game a lot! Looking at Mage Knight, and Spirit Island, I think I want those. If you played Fallout what are your thoughts?

Definitely check out spirit island! since this video came out i’ve played it about 10 more times and have fell in love with it even more! It’s actually seriously threatening Mage Knight for the #1 spot! I would say that even though Mage Knight is super replayable, Spirit Island actually takes the cake! Spirit Island is likely the most replayable game of all time in my opinion! And ive heard the same thing from many other people! While in mage knight there’s tons to explore, it’s almost more “i wanna play mage knight” then you do play it and it’s great. compared to spirit island, where you are always thinking about what spirits you wanna play and potentially what teams of spirits you wanna try together (if you’re playing coop or multihanded) and then if you want you can play one of the many scenarios, and even one of the adversaries which make the invaders more challenging and give them a unique playstyle! on top of that, the adversaries have 10 difficulty levels and you can combine them with any of the scenarios. There’s nearly infinite replayability here. Man I love it.
Being Friends crikey that sounds great actually! I love trying different combos when I play (I’m thinking Onirim here lol) and this idea of combining different spirits in teams to get a different synergy is very compelling... I do think about MK when I’m not playing but it’s more “which scenario do I want to play next”- and so your comment makes me think SI could add this combo element, I’m very interested now. and yeah, i think about mage knight when im not playing too, but theres something sweet about the times in between playing or right before playing where you just get to decide HOW you want to play this time around! I feel the same about Aeons End too!!! Choosing characters, and cards for the supply that combo well is sucha fun thing. And then on top of that all the nemeses you can choose to fight :DDD exactly like SI with the Adversaries.

I will probably pick up another Oniverse game at some point but struggle to decide which- Aerion doesn’t appeal so much but as we share similar taste in games I’ll take a more serious look- Sylvion or Nautillion seemed more up my alley. Aeon’s end is definitely on my list I just need to decide whether I get legacy or original, or maybe war eternal- which did you get?? For now though Gloomhaven is keeping me busy, I got it recently for solo and OMG it is an absolute juggernaut and very very hard to get good at playing on your own and managing 2/3 characters at once- very cool though :)!

Being Friends - Hey there. I have not yet played Robinson Crusoe or Spirit Island. They both seem really good and somewhat complex. I’m hoping not as complex as Mage Knight though, because even though MK is the king of complexity, I would like my other games to be somewhat lighter. In other words, I don’t want every game I play/own to be a brain burner! I do like lighter games. Nemo’s War fits this really good by the way! I’m also considering the new Castles of Burgundy anniversary edition. Basically, I don’t own any worker placement games, and I’m looking for a good 1st game of that style to invest in! 😁
@@Tombonzo Yeah that makes a lot of sense! I would say in terms of complexity if Mage Knight is 4/5 I'd say Spirit Island is 3.5/5 and Robinson Crusoe is 3/5! All are pretty complex and offer a ton of really interesting decisions!!! Robinson Crusoe is probably the simplest of the three, but Spirit Island with only 1 or 2 players, isn't too bad either!
Yeah, Nemo's War does seem like a pretty good choice as a sorta lighter game in your collection!
So, technically Castles of Burgundy isn't a worker placement game, but I will say it is insanely good and I definitely recommend it! I need to play it more!

I wouldn't spend any more than $120 on Ultimate Edition! So, the base game may just be the way to go. Though, I think they are currently reprinting Ultimate Edition, so it could be worth it to just wait.
Most people agree that the base game and just the Lost Legion expansion is PLENTY of replayability to last forever!

Have you considered one of GMT's COIN games? The learning curve is somewhat daunting, but the AI works really well. I'm currently cutting my teeth on Falling Sky: The Gallic Revolt against Caesar. Difficult to learn, challenging to play. It takes a few plays to get rid of all the small rules mistakes you will make, but I really like it.

@@BeingFriends Hey! Card backs have slight tone difference, most notable in hirelings decks; expansion's round tokens may be smaller by 1 or 2 mm; people also reported missing cards, sometimes complete decks.
Some of these errors even come from the regular editions. There were supposed to fix them for this new edition. My copy was complete except for Goldyx's head, but still I can see the card back tone error.

Great and solid list ! One other great solo game that has not been mentioned here is Marvel Champions: The Card Game. Constructive critique: The cutter/editor did not do you a favour, as the barrage of fast cuts makes it look as if you can't say a single sentence without editing -- sometimes a cut literally involves one single word. ;D Hope that - did not - sound - too - harsh ... ;) PS: Thanks for your 7 tips video on Spirit Island !

Since this video, I've gotten much much better at delivering lines, and yes, I can now say a single sentence without editing 😂 Granted, we still cut out long pauses that happen when I'm thinking of what to say mid sentence sometimes, but it's much much less abrasive nowadays!! I started playing Spirit Island a week ago and played it solo 3 times by now. I had the game on my radar since it was announced, as I love cooperative games and this one is (as you might agree) quite unique in many ways, from its theme to the fact that it's a cooperative area control game. Funny that you mention a list of top favourite spirits, because I recently started a poll in the community regarding which spirits are best-suited and most fun when played solo/single-handedly. I looked into Cloudspire.. It looks fantastic! Super high on my wishlist now! They are doing a reprint on Kickstarter along with an expansion! Sadly $130 seemed like too much to drop :/ But then something crazy happened. I heard about Skytear, which is a new card driven miniatures game, also inspired by Moba's, and over a couple purchases, I've already dropped close to $160.. gosh dangit. I'm so stoked for Skytear though!

I tried Sagrada solo! Played 4 times in a row. It's so quick and seriously fun! For sure a good puzzle. Although sometimes it can be kinda brutal!!

I've bought gloomhaven expecting it to be my favorite of all time, but it isn't until now...and I see a lot of people talking about mage knight. I think that Mage Knight is one of the best games ever of course so I find it to be worth it for sure!! It’s different than those kind of narrative games, because it’s not story based in any way, but it does tell a story. It’s hard to explain, but it, more than any other game, feels like a journey that you’re immersed into. It’s legendary.

Artwork, narratives, combinations of different investigators, the theme and everything else. The only thing that l don't like is playing Eldritch Horror multiplayer, l think it's better to solo. But that's just me, some people find it better with 2-3 players.

I would recommend using a simple fade transition to avoid the jumpiness between clips. Thanks for posting the videos: they look enjoyable to watch otherwise.
