So I've listened to the entire album and as a true MM fan i know with each album comes a message/mission usually its government or religious based, not this time. The title of the album says it all, this is a long loving love/support letter to his fans, to us. This entire album was him reach out to us know we are afraid, feeling alone, angry and sad at the state of the world. From Paint You with My love, Keep My Head Together, Solve Coagula, Broken Needle and yes of course We are Chaos he's still telling us its alright to be broken, sad and scared but we are not alone and we can get through this together. He had me in tears in Broken Needle and hoping the madness and hate of 2020 will find some peace at some point.

I never understood Marilyn Manson when he first started out. I guess I was too closed minded to figure it out. My son loved him. My son left this world by his own hand in 2009, and it left me broken. This year had sucked and a not long ago an interview with MM showed up on my YT feed. I decided to watch it and was amazed that MM was well spoken and very intelligent. I watched many more of his interviews and decided his voice was soothing. I decided to let the music from this album be the first I listened to and I love it all. Thank you MM for being you and making my heart sing again 💖

I just read his interview about helping those with mental illness, as myself...like the band Badflower, MM was there for me in the 90s and I used to draw while listening to his music on repeat! I even drew a few portraits of him. He saved my life. My Mom hated him back then, but then she met someone that was listening to his music, and suddenly she loves MM! GO FIGURE! He is a genius and kind hearted underneath it all! Ty!
@@glendaartifex8897 I was diagnosed with a mental disorder 9 years ago and I still haven't figured what that's supposed to mean. Am I defective? Are my feelings inappropriate? Is my behavior maladaptive? What's "maladaptive" when you have to deal with stuff you can't even grasp? What I know is that MM's music was the only thing that cut deeper than the sh.tshow of my childhood, that made and still makes me question the frames of my identity. Yes he's a very talented artist but why I respect him the most is that he came back after Columbine, he came back after being trashed by fans and critics for years in the '00s and part of me likes to believe that he didn't just do it for the sake of art, but for us, for the so called "damaged", the abused, the marginalized, the most vulnerable. I'm no artist but he inspires me every day to study and build up a life and one day help those who need it the most.

I’m usually not the one to leave this type of comment, but this song really helped me get through a lot this passed year. I’ve spent 2020 unsure of myself, where I’m at in life and the decisions I’ve made. Always worried about letting down those that care about me. This song helped me realize that I’m probably never going to have a perfect life and I gotta stop trying to dedicate my life to the expectations of others. I might be reprehensible to some, but I’m happy the way I am and nobody knows what’s best for me but me! I’m a goddamn man and I’ll do whatever I please!

Let's be realistic about it: broken girls are the ones most turned on by Brian. "I'm broken and I don't want to be fixed" and "No one else I want to be like, so I stayed the same" rings true to his refusal to change and transform into something "Other." He is broken (solve) but refuses to be fixed (coagula). Could also be a play on words since "fixed" could mean to stay the same or stationary (unchanged). ^_^ Jung's Metanoia rings true to mind as well when concerning the alchemic process of transformation/transfiguration from a psychological standpoint. Brian is certainly witty with his play on words. Good title for a song about not wanting to dissolve your current identity or sense of self in order to become something different, especially when you don't want to become anything else because you are already happy with who you are. Nice track to a very enjoyable album.
