Thanks for all you do, Daniel, to keep your uncle's memory alive. He was truly a unique and special person. So humble and down-to-earth. Makes me so proud to be Irish.
IMO the thing that made Rory sooooo great was his down-to-earthness. He was one of us therefore we could be great. He had no pretentions, he did what he did because of his love of music and was, fortunately for us, great at what he did. I had the pleasure of seeing him live (Hanley, Vicky hall) and the memory will will stay to the grave.
...Beautifly Put & Spot On!! my RG days were a lot of early "Taste" gigs in Dublin, what times and what a Talent!! Honoured by so many people and Great guitarists around the World Thanks for posting yer comment👍
As soon as I get this, going to up some sounds on my dat recorder the sound is like you are right next to him. And all these vinyl's have awesome soundboard sound this made my day, and to Bill. Every song that Rory played he did different, all I can say I can listen to this man 24 hours a day. Thank you Daniel for making me so happy & what your doing for your Uncle, he is watching you .
Thanks a million Daniel for everything your family has been doing to release his music and keep everyone interested and posted. The music is what we have left from Rory luckily. But what a sadness not to see him live or know him.
I just bought a copy of this at my local record store today and I don't actually have a record player, but I still bought it because I read that there was a digital download code included, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. If anyone could help with this, it would be greatly appreciated
Rory was a master player but i don't think there is much point rehashing things as new. He has been gone a good long time now. If you like Rory you already have everything he wanted to be released.
Tut tut, you got to be kidding? That's all very important historical material dedicated to one of Ireland's/The Worlds finest Talents, total respect to his nephew Daniel in keeping his memory alive, I'm looking forward to getting the album,...even if they released an album of his tune ups I'd buy it, as he even made that sound amazing! BIG Thank you to the family for keeping the memory of a Hero alive! (it costs money to do that!) even if it is just a reminder!....get the album moe knee👍
Bill, listen to this special radio session it stands up as a great release and as part of RSD introduces Rory's music to a new generation... think about the kids😉
@@johnnyocvinylrecords1079 ...Hey Johnny!...I started seeing RG in a small club(very similar to the Cavern club in Liverpool)in Dublin called "The 5" when he was in "Taste" & I saw him tune many times mid song he would make it sound part of the song! He just lifted everyone at his gigs, a Master at his craft! There's an interview with Brian May(& many others) about RG, the absolut respect & honour for a fellow musician is beautiful to see & hear, even after all these years I still "Air-Guitar" to some of his solo's😄👍

Love the story of the acoustic guitar he's holding on the cover. Rory could make any guitar sound beautiful...

Fair play to ya lad, Rory was the best, such a natural. 👍👍🎸🎸. Adrian 🍀🍀
Johnny Marr talked about him back in the 80's. I first had a listen in the early 90's. Hooked since.
Cleveland 🎸 🎸 rocks.
I live about 3 hours from Cleveland.
Home of the rock and roll hall of fame (shame).
Why shame?
@@krunoslavluckystar7181 Rory isn’t in it for one thing
@@krunoslavluckystar7181 .. people call it that because of all the great people that aren't inducted but should be..example rory Gallagher.
"Check Shirt Wizard"..would make a helluva hoodie..
Absolute GOLD
The DJ is my first cousin, Carolyn Thomas!
Good looking must run in the family

Love the T-shirt! 🙂

I like his shirt
The back of the cover looks like Robert Johnson. Probably silent tribute or..?
Sad for us who only use CD's
