Hey guys and welcome to todays video where I want to share my thoughts and feelings now there has been such a significant price increase.. I would love to know what your thoughts and feelings are on the price increases and let me know what they have been wherever you are in the world by leaving a comment below.. Love you so much xxxxxx
All these price increases on every facet of life have been such a downer for sure! Even my Boots go-to sandwich went up 25p lol! Yet for real I agree with you! Won't be giving up the Copper Peptide or eye serum! Can you layer the anti-oxidant with the copper peptide?
I have switched to a foundation with a much higher SPF so that is good to know that some folks do not have to purchase the antioxidant with the SPF. Yet for those who do not wear foundation then like you said a good sunscreen is key. I like the Laroche Posay one with 50 SPF at the drugstore, High quality and if you buy it at Boots you get bonus points on your loyalty card to buy more things later! Win win!
There's a reason why this is the only skincare channel I watch consistently..... your focus on more affordable products, and finding dupes for the super expensive ones. I'm very frugal, but I will invest in products if my skin needs the help. With using the SubQ Skin and the other more affordable products in my skincare routines, I haven't felt the need to invest. So thank you for sharing your thoughts on these high priced items!!❤️❤️❤️
@@kupitekurs I"m glad it's not expensive for you. Unfortunately, it is for me. Most of their products are between $40-$90. That is very expensive for me as I am retired.

Hey Rob, this video was one I wanted to stop and discuss with you (over some knitting). Hylamide is the AM routine, CAIS is the PM routine. My rationale is skin has a better chance to 'rejuvinate' overnight so I think the CAIS can work more wonders at night. * Re:Pigment is it working well on the dark spots on my hands The same rationale as above, I use the more expensive Re:Pigment at night (to work wonders) and Alpha Arbutin in the morning * I ordered some make up from Sephora and managed to 'snag' a Faded Topicals sample size. The Ordinary Azalaic.acid 100ml was £16 ...it's now £21.30, gone up 33% , where as the Matrixyl has only gone up 20p🤔.... Hylamide ( very happy no price increase) applied first followed by 2pumps of Matrixyl gives enhanced smoothness and glow, also makes Hylamide last longer has a better texture than Niod Cais and improves the skin..thank me later🤣😂😄!!! New Orleans Thank you for the video. We use to watch other skincare videos but you are our absolutely favorite and the only one we watch. They are so helpful. In one of your many videos you recommended NIOD's copper peptide. Since then we have been using it and are happy with the results. We are always looking to step up our skincare to another level and look forward to your recommendations. Thank you once again
The Ordinary prices are very reasonable! Plus they work! All skin is different because of genetics, how you eat, if you exercise, if you drink enough water for all your toxins, if you smoke, over drink alcohol and more. We are all what we eat, and we want all these products too work!🤔
20%?? Woow! I'll need to check the prices here in EU cause idk if I will be purchasing it, I'm happy I have 2 LBLC and a CAIS on reserve... So sad I might to say goodbye to it, my lips never looked better, soft heathier, and colourful!🥺 Have great weekend, Hun!! Send you all the love in the world!💞😘💞
I know what you mean hun, I love the lip so much and maybe the price might not have gone up as much in the EU, I think the biggest increase was in Canada and Australia.. love you and hope you have a wonderful weekend xxxxxxxx
Hey Rob! I would love to try Niod but even before the price hike I was skittish. Now I'm deathly afraid I'll fall in love and have to sell a kidney to be able to keep up....lol
Legitimate fear!😆 I only buy three things from NIOD: Survival 0, Modulating Glycosides, and the pump that also fits TO and Hylamide bottles. All of those are under $30USD.😉
I like Korean products with HA, Isntree has good serum with 7 types of HA, better texture and hydration than others that I tried. And a lot cheaper than niod and it is 50 ml
1) I agree with the Survival 30 critique. I only purchased it on Cult Beauty because I can't get my hands on it in the states. I'm back to Survival 0 and Blue Lizard 30/50 SPF 2) I also love the Flavonone mask! 3) My hack is using 3 drops CAIS3 with 2 drops of SubQ skin! 4) We didn't take a hit on NIOD here in the states (yet)🤞. Hoping you are having a fun filled Friday ❤️
I am crossing all my fingers for you guys in the states that the price wont go up too much..... I always think of you William when I use the blue lizard.. love you xxxxx
Oh THAT'S why I didn't see the price hike in my Survival 0. I'm saw the video title, went to the Deciem site, thought what the heck is Rob talking about? Lol!
I totally agree with you on the products you are leaving behind. I fiound the MMHC stung my face and went back to Hada Labo Premium. Love it. I found the lip oil made my lips really dry. I will continue to use CAIS, FEC, Survival 0 and MG! Will try your suggestion about SUBQ skin. What do you think of using Buffet with Copper peptides? Is Subq better?
I’m doing what you are doing and alternating my Niod copper serum with another one so it lasts longer. I do love the eye serum and probably one of my favourite is the superoxide dismutase saccharide mist. I’m also on the hunt for a good stem cell serum. I use osmosis and I love it but it’s really expensive but worth it again I just want to alternate it with another to make them last longer. So glad you do these videos. Wld be happy as a pig in mud if you bought out a whole skin care line
Lanaige lip mask has the plumping /moisturizing effect without the price tag. Will try your suggestion for the re-pigment substitution. Survival is amazing.
Hi Rob I only buy the Niod MG anyway. It went from £21 to £25, so whilst pretty much a 20% increase it is still something I'm willing to buy. I was using it twice a day, but after xmas had switched to only at night anyway - one bottle used twice daily was lasting six weeks so that's a bit ouch. Using it mostly at night i'm getting about 10 weeks out of it - this is applied face, neck and chest. I have redness on the neck and chest as well as the face, hence using enough to cover thinly all three areas. Apart from spf this is my only product that costs over £20, as I keep the rest mostly affordable. I have a skincare budget and stick to it. I won't buy expensive cleansers, toners and moisturisers. I stopped with the expensive first essences (even though I loved them and they lasted for months). As far as niod goes the MG is one of the more affordable products in the line. I've never been able to sustain buying the CAIS (which I didn't think was worth the money) and I use a retinaldehyde eye cream at night in favour of the FECC. I'm 50 and have actual aging with ultra sensitive skin. The only thing that has ever given me smoothing of the skin is a retinoid. The MG is all about redness (despite having antioxidants and peptides) and does bring some relief to my rosacea and eczema prone skin. It is soothing and my skin just really likes it. It makes the skin feel calmer and that's important to me. Overall I think 20% is a very steep hike in price for anything, but I will continue to buy the modulating glucosides anyway. Best wishes.
I know everyone is over HA, but I like using it on my crepey, 55 yr old neck to smooth and plump it out a bit. I'm wondering now if I should snag the one from NIOD to try before the price increase here in the U.S. 🤔 Anyone think it was worth it? As always, love the video, Rob! 🥰
Just food for thought: I actually heard an esthetician or dermatologist (or it might even have been Lab Muffin?) explain fairly recently that the goal of skincare should be to sink as deep into your skin as possible for the best benefits. However, sunscreen whether "chemical" or "physical" filter is meant to stay on the surface of your skin/needs to stay on the surface to be effective because and not absorb deep inside, because it is literally a physical barrier from the sun. It also means that if you use SPF in a middle skincare step, anything layered on top of it won't sink in, either, and will be wasted as well. Moreover, the amount of product you'd have to use to equate the amount you'd need for sunscreen is extremely high and would thus be very wasteful of the skincare, especially since it's not gonna sink in and will be wasted on the surface, anyway. (To put it in perspective, you need I believe a quarter teaspoon on average of sunscreen for the face alone, but then you of course need even possibly twice as much to cover the face as well as the entire neck, upper chest, and ears, which you should be including every day, as well. This makes for around 1/2 tsp of sunscreen per day.) You would use up your SPF skincare so fast if you were to do that. The same thing as how I do remember Lab Muffin specifically saying that SPF foundation, despite staying on the surface of the skin, which is a good concept in theory, is actually another gimmick, because the amount of foundation you'd need to use to get enough SPF coverage would leave most people looking cakey and ridiculous lol. Moral of the story: always separate skincare and SPF and make SPF your very last step.
Interesting. How does that apply to Ultrasun? I use their anti pigmentation spf 50 and that needs to be applied as the very first step after cleansing and then wait 20 minutes before applying anything else so that it adheres to the skin. I’m very sun sensitive but have never burnt whilst using this, so it does seem to work.
@@sassy700000 admittedly idk there as I sm not familiar with that product/brand. But when I looked at the product on the Ultra sun website, I'm skeptical of the concept as I tend to believe the overarching concept that sunscreen should be a barrier, not a treatment that goes into the skin layers.
@@ppp285 I’m just coming to the end of my current Ultrasun sunscreen and really not sure whether to stick with it through the summer months or try something else. It’s always worked well for me, but I’ve seen a lot of people say the same as you - that sunscreen should be a barrier product applied post skin care. So, now I’m confused, I really don’t want to take any chances when it comes to SPF. I’m very sun (and sunscreen) sensitive and also suffer from quite a sweaty face in hot weather, so I need something that can withstand that between top ups and won’t irritate my skin. I think I’m going to have to binge watch all the SPF recommendation videos here on UA-cam and try to make an informed decision based on that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated though 😊
Sub Q skin is $22 in Canada vs $98 for Niod CAIS. I have 2 full bottles of CAIS left, but after they are gone I will sadly be saying goodbye. As for FECC, I don’t see myself giving it up, but would still love for you to find a great dupe (maybe sub q eye?) xxxxx
Oh wow thats a massive difference and on that basis I would be all in on the SubQ lol.. I need to use the subq eye on a more consistent basis to see how it works against the FECC.. love you xxxxx
@@elizabethsmith583 I have used it and I liked it. I find I use more of the SubQ eyes than FECC. Time to try it again! Have you tried it? Have the Niod prices increased in Australia?
Thank you for another great video. I’ve been meaning to ask you how often you use the FECC so it lasts 6 months, and I wondered if it could be used once a day. It’s a keeper for me and I’ll try using it just in the am now. I picked up survival 0 and SDS mist in the UK. They are both lovely to use but I think I actually prefer the Mary and May Idebenone than the Survival 0 in terms of how it plays with other products and is very affordable and accessible for me. To be honest I will probably only buy the FECC in future as Niod are really expensive for me to buy here, import duties, taxes and a price increase just put the products out of my price range 😞😘
I can understand price rises, however I just ordered two Hylamide products to try out to better decided if my favorite NIOD products are worth it. An trying sensitive fix as an alternative to NIOD modulating glycosides which I love, and SubQ skin as a CAIS alternative. Even without the price increase, this November I tried an all NIOD routine. Definitely don't think the hylauronic acid is worth repurchasing. Like repigment but had already been thinking (thanks to your review) that I could do azelaic acid and transamic acid together instead. Still on the fence about Hydration Vaccine, although for inexplicable reasons, I find it endearing. Probably won't rebuy NEC. Otoh on Al NiOd routine 3 nights a week and every morning, plus other things including MAS on alternate tretinoin/azelaic acid nights, my face skin is soft and elastic. But if other products could have the same results I will substitute them in my routine
Happy Friday lovely xxxxx hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!! I have a few favourites from NIOD but my bank account is definitely a bigger fan of hylamide and TO haha! Sending much love 😘🤍🤍🤍
Haha I agree Chris my bank account loves the ordinary and hylamide for sure lol.. Happy Friday hun and I hope you have the most amazing start to the weekend.. love you xxxxxx
I like Niod products but I already felt somewhat guilty buying them. I may have money now but I wasn’t raised with much of it. It’s time to find some good replacements
I'm pissed that deciem raised the price for no reason. No reformulation, no change in the packaging.. no nothing. Just same products, but more expensive. I don't get it.. they probably got a huuuge profit with their original prices anyway.. so what's the point? Estee Lauder greed.
The price rise is thanks to the company being bought by LOREAL! it was sort of a given that this was going to happen the second Deciem was bought to be honest so I'm not sure why so many people are surprised
I think this is the time to move on then lol with the new price increases.. some of their products worked so so so well for me but it will all depend on the individual skin for sure.. love you xxxxx
I just opened and tried my survival 0 this morning over my Super oxide dismutase I'm very much loving the formulation so far. Obviously my final judgement will be after a month but so far definitely in my top 2 with regimen labs vitamin X.
It's really sad that as soon as I discover a brand I love, they jack up the prices to a point where I'm having to discontinue my support for them. Unfortunately, my most recent purchase of a lot of these products are my last. Tbh I think the whole skincare thing is a farce and nothing will make your skin younger other than lifestyle changes and clinical strength therapies and treatments
Honestly, I tried a few products from NIOD and I don't see it. I might continue to purchase the saccharide mist (not sure), will not purchase again NEK, lip bio concentrate (I started to have some white milia on lips, don't know if there is a correlation), flavanone mud (it buuurned), voicemail mask (ok, but nothing mind blowing). I will try NAAP(as I have the bottle), FECC and maybe the copper peptides one, but seems a little pricy to use consistently. I like sub q and will repurchase and also liked the Chemistry brand anti aging hand cream. However, a 20%price increase is crap especially for products that were not cheap to begin with like Niod(49 eur for a HA serum?, No). Don't know what they did with TO prices, but if they pulled the same stunt, good ridance. There are a lot of brands that deliver basically the same products as them so I can see a lot of people dropping them. Remember when Deciem was different? Not so much anymore.
Canadian prices went up a lot. I use FECC, CAIS and SDSM2 and I am not sure if I can justify to continue purchasing. I may just stock up exclusively during the sale in the fall. And if there’s no sale than I will pass. I think? Lol. I love them so this is a hard decision hah
Fecc and survivor 0 I will buy no matter how much they are. All the others I will pass. Although I have not bought the cais, I'm sure I would love it !
It's such a shame! They must assume that NIOD customers are absolutely balling, rather than normal people who take our skincare seriously! I thought I was seeing things when I went to buy a bottle of Modulating Glucosides the other day! XX
I have been using th FECC both Am and Pm as Niod says in their description - and been going through a bottle in 2,5 month. Are you sure that the effect lasts 24 hours? 🤔 Because then I will stop using in the pm and save a little money 🙂
Deciem, is up against many brands, and not the cool kid on the block anymore, and these price chances are not helping, customers will go else where. Deciem is a lifeline for eeste lauder but this is not the way to go about it. If niod gets to pricy, ppl will not repurchase regularly… Ppl will do exactly what you are doing, dial it down.
I know what you mean hun, these price increases have made me take a second look at the ones I buy even though the formulations are amazing for sure.. Happy Friday hun and sending you lots of love xxxxx
Hi hun. I think the dollar price increase were not as much as other currencies so you might not notice and some products might not have gone up at all... here in the uk its crept up a little but not much, I think its Canada and Australia which have been most impacted.. love xxxxx
I know what you mean hun and I think its a shame the prices have gone up as it means its more out of reach for people than ever.. the formulations are amazing though.. love you xxxxx
Nah NIOD is kind of unique. I'm not going to repurchase everything I've tried from them, but that's because I strictly speaking don't need all of them. Survival 0 and modulating glucosides are here to stay though.
I totally agree with you hun, its so so so hard to find good dupes for their products as they are just so well formulated which is why the price increases hurt lol.. I love the survival 0 and the MG such good products. love you xxxxx

We are always looking to step up our skincare to another level and look forward to your recommendations. Thank you once again
Totally approve of each product decision!! Thanks for the daily videos 😊
Thank you so so much hun for all your love and support.. love you xxxxx
The Ordinary prices are very reasonable! Plus they work! All skin is different because of genetics, how you eat, if you exercise, if you drink enough water for all your toxins, if you smoke, over drink alcohol and more. We are all what we eat, and we want all these products too work!🤔
but they work. And price is same like Vicy or La rouce posay, or polas choice. Peptides cannot be cheap. Niod worths our price.
20%?? Woow! I'll need to check the prices here in EU cause idk if I will be purchasing it, I'm happy I have 2 LBLC and a CAIS on reserve... So sad I might to say goodbye to it, my lips never looked better, soft heathier, and colourful!🥺
Have great weekend, Hun!!
I'm back to Survival 0 and Blue Lizard 30/50 SPF
2) I also love the Flavonone mask!
Lol!
Title should be mad by skin announces release of lip balm so cool and congratulations
@@ppp285 I’d love to tag Rob into this to see if he could offer any opinions too, but I can’t get his tag to work!
@@MadAboutSkin I’ll buy a bottle and see how well it works compared to FECC
@@elizabethsmith583 I have used it and I liked it. I find I use more of the SubQ eyes than FECC. Time to try it again! Have you tried it? Have the Niod prices increased in Australia?
I think I might try a bottle as well Tom. ❤️❤️❤️
I was just looking at the prices. They don’t seem to have increased. Yet.
If I took a shot for every time Rob says the word "honestly" I think I'd have alcohol poisoning 😂
I'm sure we could set up a bingo to play with Robs phrases 🤣 "Ding Ding Ding" ❤️
@@eloisepharmacist "Cut the waffle"😄
Sometime that was expected. I will continue with my 90% ordinary, 10% hylamide, MAS, 4% NIOD.
Love you hun xxxx
I've never tried any NIOD - I'm a budget "ordinary" girl 🤣 I think I only have the FECC on my wish list if I ever do treat myself 😁
I know what you mean hun they are a little on the higher price point for sure.. love you xxxx
Never tried NIOD and now I prolly never will but I think you should do a video on lip care!
I notice you never speak of their vitamin c. Do you have any thoughts on it?
Wow that is a big increase!! I will check out the US increase. The Survival 0 is the same price…maybe hasn’t hit here yet
I'm pissed that deciem raised the price for no reason. No reformulation, no change in the packaging.. no nothing. Just same products, but more expensive. I don't get it.. they probably got a huuuge profit with their original prices anyway.. so what's the point? Estee Lauder greed.
Hi Rob, what do you think between Copper Peptides from the Ordinary and SubQ Skin?
I love how you cover products from so many different angles. Weighing the pros and cons, really been enjoying your vids, TY Blessings ;-)
The price rise is thanks to the company being bought by LOREAL! it was sort of a given that this was going to happen the second Deciem was bought to be honest so I'm not sure why so many people are surprised
I don't know if I will replace any of my NIOD products as I haven't been wowed by anything I've tried and I've tried a lot.
I think this is the time to move on then lol with the new price increases.. some of their products worked so so so well for me but it will all depend on the individual skin for sure.. love you xxxxx
Same for me, I might keep usin CAIL as other products didn't impress me.
Personally, I've seen major improvements in my skin with a lot of store-bought skincare products!
Honestly, I tried a few products from NIOD and I don't see it. I might continue to purchase the saccharide mist (not sure),
will not purchase again NEK, lip bio concentrate (I started to have some white milia on lips, don't know if there is a correlation), flavanone mud (it buuurned), voicemail mask (ok, but nothing mind blowing).
The only product I am still using from Deciem is TO’s SA Mask Hylamide’s SubQ Skin did not agree with my skin unfortunately Deciem no more
I do the same: Survival 0 followed by spf
Canadian prices went up a lot. I use FECC, CAIS and SDSM2 and I am not sure if I can justify to continue purchasing. I may just stock up exclusively during the sale in the fall. And if there’s no sale than I will pass. I think? Lol. I love them so this is a hard decision hah
Did you forget modulating glucosides?!
So helpful, thank you 🍃💕
Fecc and survivor 0 I will buy no matter how much they are. All the others I will pass. Although I have not bought the cais, I'm sure I would love it !
I totally agree with you hun and I think we share the same favourites for sure.. love you xxxxx
I know survival 0 will go up in price. I really don't want to let it go, need it under my sunscreen :(
I know what you mean its really the best antioxidant there is out there for sure.. love you hun xxxxx
I look forward to your lip oil.
It's such a shame! They must assume that NIOD customers are absolutely balling, rather than normal people who take our skincare seriously! I thought I was seeing things when I went to buy a bottle of Modulating Glucosides the other day! XX
You should make a dupe for their eye cream.
Do you have a dupe for the fractionated eye concentrate 🙏🤣?
If you use the copper serum in the morning, can you still incorporate vitamin c or is it one or the other?? Thanks
The lip serum: how is it that this video made me want to go out and buy it?!
Thank you
I have been using th FECC both Am and Pm as Niod says in their description - and been going through a bottle in 2,5 month. Are you sure that the effect lasts 24 hours? 🤔 Because then I will stop using in the pm and save a little money 🙂
i use NIOD and they are worth it.
The price gauging is motivated by pure greed. Estee Lauder is taking a greater and greater share of Deciem, but I hope they never gain full ownership.
I feel the lip oil made my lips a pretty color but it dries my lips
With the energy rise, and cost of living not matching I think it is time to revaluate everything
I feel like even the drugstore is gettin expensive
Deciem, is up against many brands, and not the cool kid on the block anymore, and these price chances are not helping, customers will go else where. Deciem is a lifeline for eeste lauder but this is not the way to go about it.
If niod gets to pricy, ppl will not repurchase regularly…
Ppl will do exactly what you are doing, dial it down.
I know what you mean hun, these price increases have made me take a second look at the ones I buy even though the formulations are amazing for sure.. Happy Friday hun and sending you lots of love xxxxx
Maybe ! If we are lucky, they will have an amazing November sale prices, to recuperate for lack of sales in 2022, time will tell. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Yep we need some dupes
I have a full video planned so watch this space :) love xxxxx
Did the NIOD prices actually increase in the US? They all still look the same to me when I check the deciem website.
Hi hun. I think the dollar price increase were not as much as other currencies so you might not notice and some products might not have gone up at all... here in the uk its crept up a little but not much, I think its Canada and Australia which have been most impacted.. love xxxxx
Woah it was pricey as it was. I won't pay niod prices anyway xxx
I know what you mean hun and I think its a shame the prices have gone up as it means its more out of reach for people than ever.. the formulations are amazing though.. love you xxxxx
@@MadAboutSkin I do really want to try the eye serum. Maybe one day I'll pluck up the courage to buy it 😂 xxxx
🌸
Love you xxxx
