Oh My gosh, thank you! I sold a lot of my leather designer bags because as I've gotten older, I've become totally disgusted with the fact they're leather. (Although admittedly, there's two I can't part with, they're from my mom, they're special, and even if I don't use them, I at least have them). So I moved to Nylon-- great! But I found they STILL used leather (Straps, zipper pulls, handles, etc). I thought well, sheesh! I'll never find anything. Thank for for the effort on this video
Thank you for making this! I've been working on my bag collection and looking for brands/designs to add. So far I've got 2 Stella McCartneys, 2 Matt & Nats, an Angela Roi, 2 Melie Bianco's, Samara, and contemplating Gunas NY and Nanushka!
I want the vegan antigonia bag so bad.... I hope they will make these again. Dior has some beautiful canvas and denim options too. They used to have velvet bags too last year. I wanted to buy one of these but unfortunately they are not available right now where I live. Unfortunately they do have a tiny leather label in them.
@@ColleenCaseyVlogs for sure the antigonia is of good quality too. Be blessed with it! I think we'll be seeing more luxury brands getting into vegan designs, they are already researching materials. But maybe it is good that there aren't as many option yet, because I love bags a little too much... just kidding, I hope we'll see more demand for it, for the animals sake of course.
Alexandra K makes the best vegan bags. I bought my handbag 2nd hand and had it for about 5 years now. Still looks perfect, no peeling, scratching, breaking etc... The stitching is impeccable. Anyone looking for a good quality bag, and has a budget for it (it's a bit pricy) look into these. I was underwhelmed with many big vegan brands, to be honest. I did my research first. Looked at photos of used bags to see how well they're holding up when used. I was disappointed to see many pretty bags don't hold up very well and the pleather starts to peel. Alexandra K passes the test for me. When I can afford it I'm planning to get another one.
Sans Beast is my go-to Vegan brand. I love the quality of their bags and the design as well! If you haven't tried their bags, I highly recommend checking them out. They are a solid ethical company.
We have a very similar number of Stella Mccartney bags- I'm so jealous you managed to afford and actually find the coveted Rubber Effect Antigona bag! It's interesting to see the comparison of low-to high end brands, subscribed!
I used to love matt and nat feel the quality went down hill and the bags just stopped matching the price point 😔 . Vivienne Westwood is bringing out loads of vegan Bags too should check them out 😊
Thanks for the feedback, and I totally understand. I wasn't able to list to each bag because most of the brands rotate items seasonally, so the exact ones I have might not be available anymore. I'm hoping that the price ranges can help you decide if it's worth going to the brands' sites and looking through what they currently have!
i bought a vegan louis vuitton purse but i'm worried it will peel overtime. is it fake? i'm curious. i don't get it. it smells really strong of leather or something.
Sustainable and vegan fashion is the future!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful video!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

I want the Antigon bag in either the mini or medium size 😩

I hope they make these again too! It seems like a no-brainer because even non-vegans might prefer the texture or water resistance of the rubber.

I love Angela Roi! Such amazing bags. JW Pei's stuff is super cute, too. I haven't tried Samara yet, but they're on my radar.

Thank you! I searched for so long for that rubber effect bag, so I had time to set money aside in case it ever popped up.
There’s also Freya New York. But I don’t have their bags so I don’t know the quality.
You might like the brand Govanhi, £595 for the Ana bag and the leather is bio based. It's like Chanel lambskin mixed with nylon in feel!

I wish you would state prices for each bag and provide links for individual bags 💜

Hmm, it's hard to know! I think there's only one bag from LV that happens to be all canvas, in which case, it shouldn't peel.
