Perfect videos for an impatient viewer like me, short and informative...i was never a fan of watching youtube for clearing my concepts, always found it boring, but you Dr. Mike and Dr. Matt are magical, making my med school way easier..... much support n love❤️
Wow i found you here too ! 😭😭 thank you for taking the time to teach those outside of your classroom. It means alot to students like me who need a little more explanations and further breakdowns of topics like these!! Youre awesome, and a life saver💜
I have a PhD ( biology) and am doing a course that requires me to relearn all this for an exam (forgotten it after 20 years) and I wish I’d had UA-cam back then!! Thank you. You teach so well.
I am an SLP/CDIS (speech and language pathology) studdent. Morphology and phonology classes come easy to me, but dear God are these medical classes like neurology kicking my butt. You however are restoring my confidence I can pass these classes with a B!
I m a Reflexology Licence therapist ..but I do Chiropractic work too ( OMNI CRIROPRACTIC TABLE 5 DROPS).. and this video has helping me a lost to treat cervical and cranial manipulación and adjustments..TY very much
Your videos need more views...People are missing out! LOL! Thank you so much Dr. Matt & Dr. Mike for teaching these concepts/topics better than the education we pay for lol.
I wish you were my teacher. Not because of your looks but because you seem to love what you’re talking about and have passion for it and teaching unlike my teacher.
Hi Mike! I would like to thank you for taking time to share with such great pedagogy. Your work is being of great help for those like myself studying with Atlases, books and online classes. Medical studies are complicated especially in the beginning and it is a true treasure to find such an invested and understanding teacher along the way (says a teacher teaching foreign languages and noticing how fundamental "learning and growing through our hearts connected to our minds" is for human evolution) THANK YOU, please keep going! As Aristotle would put it "educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all"
U r awesome!!! So confident, professional, detailed and simple at the same time (and enormously handsome of course - but this is rather a compliment and not even a hint of harassments, please make sure) . Just love you!!!
I absolutely love your videos, I have an exam in neurosciences soon and they help clear up the things which seemed difficult to me. Keep up the good work!
Absolutely fantastic explanation in such a way that anybody who has taken up MBBS course or Nurse Course can have a clear conception while studying the nervous system chapter in depth. I would request you to put on a video on Osmosis , Diffusion and cell membrane. Please share such topics which are a must to know in these types of courses. Thank u soo much .
Starting to my masters degree in neuroscience in couple months and i have to study science exam of this topic thank you sm this is so helpful and understandable
May l ask something? Are those informations exactly same taught in universities or do academicians add anything further? If you know of course l thought you are a medical student.
@@ekinnehirkuscu6122 Neuropsychology student here. The Neuroanatomy videos on here are simplified versions of what is taught in medical papers which I am doing. each short video on here summarises key point which are covered in detail by lectures and chapters of information which students are expected to know. these videos are great supplement to the material, but definitely don't cover EVERYTHING a medical student has to learn.
Great Video!! You have a way to simplify things that makes it very understandable. I am been viewing some of your videos to understand some concepts for the US MCAT exam. Keep up the good work coming. Thanks!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I'm in my Biomedical Neuroscience Master's program and needed some review material videos. This was exactly what I was looking for. Obviously there's more I need to ingest like astrocytes balancing pH, BUT I appreciated the visual representations and concise explanations. Thank you!!
Thankyou so much for this video 😊 I'm doing a level 3 in anatomy and physiology and I have to identify the functions of types of neuroglial I don't no how to explain it all 😢 I've got it all on my brain but struggle to write it all down
i would like to comment sir and plz correct ,me if im wrong. the term ganglia does not mean cell body of a neuron of PNS but means the collection of cell bodies in the PNS as we term them as nuclei in the CNS.
Hello Dr.mike your videos are the best but the audio is not great I am not sure what can you do to enhance the sound quality but everything else is so perfect!
So creatine is awesome because it directly affects the mitochondria of all your cells. Does this mean that creatine can improve nuerons as well? Since neurons have mitochondria.
“Ventricles produce cerebrospinal fluid” ❌ WRONG CSF is produced by the choroid plexus. The choroid plexus is located in the ventricles, and the ventricles can serve as a reservoir for CSF, but they themselves are essentially just holes. Also in need of correction, the CSF does not merely wash away waste, but it brings nutrients, growth factors, hormones, proteins, electrolytes, and neurotransmitters, while also collecting waste products, to and from various regions of the brain.
I like coming on here, I feel like I'm getting a one-on-one tutoring session. I appreciate these videos so much.

what are the cells that support our neurons in carrying out the major functions of the body.
Not the best drawer look at those damn dendrites this is medical talent 💅
