As a first year nursing student I was already freaking out and crying because I was not understanding and under so much pressure. But after watching this video I feel relieved and confidence and I can't really express how grateful I am. Thank you so much for taking your time to make this video and teaching us. God bless you abundantly ❤️
You'll do well, if you have chosen to go into nursing with your heart. You'll make a difference to so many people. When you become a nurse, make sure you do, what your heart tells you and don't listen to the nurses who'll tell you, " live her, she'll eventually stop shouting " I've been staying st verifiably hospitals with my poor husband and I've seen too much. This is hard material to learn and I appreciate how scary it must be. You'll get used to it, and you'll figure what you really have to remember. That's the most difficult process I think. Don't go too deeply straight away, if possible. I use to work in gusto pathology and I was mortified(😂) at the beginning. Slowly, even Latin became almost like English. You'll do well, if you love helping people. ❤ God bless you too. 😇🙏🤲
This is way easier to understand then my $200 textbook. The fact that they are all written in groups and not brought up in a random order makes a lot more sense

I'm a med student in my clinical years and your videos are my go to to repeat first and second year material! You can't imagine just how helpful these videos are in reinforcing knowledge!
Yes!! Everything you don't use often enough, you'll forget!! You need to hear it often enough till it goes to the long term memory place in your brain. Listening to these videos whilst cooking for example is such a good idea. Also, having it on very low volume when falling asleep is helpful, providing it doesn't disrupt your sleep pattern. We're all different. ❤
I am a first yr MD student doing histo, I hated reading the textbook because it was too wordy. But you are able to break down the content so that I could understand easily. Your way of teaching is also very engaging. Thank you so much :D
You helped me get through an online Physiology course at Duke University. You are a natural teacher able to breakdown difficult concepts and make them understandable! What a gift! And thank you for sharing it.
If it is up to me I would like to leave thousands of positive comments Dr. Mike... not just I used to watch your videos since high school but now as a med student as well I can't do without your videos... so organized and very clear. Thanks
I finallynally understood this lesson in a clear manner. Lectures weren't helping but you organizing them made it easier for me to understand so thank you very much!
you are the best doc i always come to your lectures and im better afterwards. you have helped all of us from 1st year up to the last. i am very grateful....words fail me
I came out of A&P class very confused and overwhelmed after 2hrs of listening to my tutor but you video has given me so much confidence and motivation, you made so easy.❤
This is a year old but still relevant and much easier to understand. Dr. Mike is super engaging which makes watching his videos easier than watching lecture. love it
Your ability to break down complex concepts has made a significant impact on my understanding and appreciation of the topic.Thank you for your efforts.
You are special! - If we give the same content to many people (even to your teacher), they will not present it like the way you did it! You know the pedagogy like your name!
I have never seen someone explain this better and I need anatomy for nursing. You zoom in the most important information no fluffs. Thank you very much
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos-you are an amazing teacher!! You are gifted with the ability of making complex topics easy to understand.
I like the way you explain things esp the way you break them down into chunks. Please keep them coming! you're doing a fantastic job. Thank you for sharing
Yes go, i am a medical student first year and i was having difficulty in studying histology but when i watched your videos i saw it as easy as possible
I have small test tomorrow about biomechanics... The professor gave repeated questions from the university question papers...I don't know the first thing about the first qiestion....Yeah that's the connective tissue....Thank you so much for your Service.....gratitude from a Physiotherapy student
Thank you so much @Dr Mike. You made it look very easy to understand and retain. I love how you breakdown the topics into simple parts. I have been able to get a good grasp and overview of the topics. I’m glad that I have landed here. 👏
Thank you so much for such a comprehensive video on connective tissue. I'm currently taking A&P 1: Lecture & Lab & I must achieve an A or B to get accepted into the RN program. Thanx again for bringing clarity & understanding 🙏
I’m a RETIRED board certified & Registered Respiratory Therapist that thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this truly understandable information. Wow, how we ever got through courses without this type of technology is amazing. I especially like the way you simplify what can be very complicated to many people. Please keep up your great work!🩺🧑⚕️
@@stevegambill5291sorry to batt in , but I think diet is the only way, so high in zinc food like beef, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, lamb( but I have a problem with this) There must be more dark green vegetables high in zinc I'm sure. Zinc is also good if one has tendency for depression. Sorry to bother you with this. Take care. My best wishes. 😊
this my first anatomy class ever that i m taking now in college as i m changing careers from finance (accounting) to medical, i was going to drop the class and star where i am until i bumped to one of your awesome videos and got hooked, idk how come you haven't make it to 1M yet, very knowledgeable. i put a fortune getting the textbook but i don't need it after i found you. thank you so very much.

I wish I had found this video at the beginning of the semester! I wouldn't have bombed that test so bad. My final is tomorrow and I am feeling much more confident about the material now. Thank you!
You’re amazing, I’m dental student from Iraq and before two years I was good with that then I just forgot it, after you explaination Its much easier to memorise

Love these videos and your podcast you make such an overwhelming subject so relatable, engaging, funny and simple!! I’ve used many of your videos in my own study so Thankyou !
A very informative segment on connective tissue, however, it would have been nice to see an example of what the disease process looks like as well. As a person who suffers from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and a DNP student, providers should learn about the pathology in regard to just how many structures are affected.
