The formula of the old paint means they tend to settle, and therefore have to be stirred before painting. If the formula is the same, I would imagine it would be hard to mix it before dropping it out of the new bottle. How is this addressed? Is there a mixing ball?
I think that is the worst part of these types of bottles, you cannot fit a small electric mixer in them. Even using a stir stick is cumbersome when removing the dropper nozzle. Efficient when dispensing the paint, less so for all other aspects, haha! And I just think the glass jars are cooler.
The original AK Real Colors is a fairly good paint with a great range of different colours but I'm not a big fan of dropper bottles. Returning unused paint into dropper bottles is cumbersome. What annoys me the most is the lack of information to the consumer, especially about dropping half of the colour range. I’ll give them a change and look at the result which should be the same as they claim the paint formulas hasn't changed.
@@markusfrombgen2967 that’s all false. The paint/thinner is not properly mixed below the cup where he can’t get to it with the brush to mix it. As for the seals, if they were affected by solvents, he wouldn’t be able to use the AK Real Colors in the first place as it’s solvent based and so is the thinner he’s using. It’s a lacquer. In modern airbrushes, the only seal to come into contact with fluids is the needle packing seal, and that’s made of resistant PTFE exactly for this reason. The other seals in an airbrush are air seals, not fluid seals.
Hello, That one is no longer available on our website. We are very sorry for that. We have this other one which works just as well. :) ak-interactive.com/product/ak-airbrush-basic-line-0-3/
I love the ak real line but my local hobby shop sells them for over 6 bucks a bottle rip off as compared to tamiyas 3 to 4 bucks a bottle . and all the enamal weathering is 850 to 9 a bottle is this aks normal price they have retail sell it for?
I don't like the new dropper bottle. As long as I can remove the inner tip to use a pipette to measure thinner to paint ratios... ok. I hope we still get the same amount of paint for cost.
I bought 50 of new paints when they come to market here in Czechia. Have 10 and more droppers broken (bent, crack etc..) making paint spill into cup :( I got the replacement droppers but it’s rly annoying. Is issue fixed?

Hola, el que usa nuestro compañero en el video, sintiéndolo mucho ahora mismo no lo tenemos en stock. Uno similar que tenemos en nuestra web es: ak-interactive.com/product/ak-airbrush-basic-line-0-3/
The new bottles sucks. So sorry to say it that straight. The cap does not close tightly. Paint drips out of the lid every time you open it and the tip is smeared with paint. I will never buy these colours again.

Esperamos que te animes a probar los nuevos botes, ya que la pintura es exactamente la misma y tengo entendido por otro comentario tuyo en otro video, que te gusta la de aviones. ;)
👍 Much better than jars and more paint.
Greetings from Canada. Great idea on the new bottles. Acrylic paints have been using these bottles for years.

Thanks for your comment. The formula makes that ball unnecessary, we have done many tests, you don't have to worry about it.
so this is a new formula?
The guy says it’s the same, and yet suddenly it doesn’t settle / separate? Something doesn’t add up.
@@TheLaughingBrexiteer Hello,it's the same formula and it doesn't need a ball inside just as it didn't need one before ;)
This is pretty cool!
Really cool. 👍
Not as many colours now ? Will the range go back up to the size it was before ?
Thanks AK for posting this. My biggest concern was that the formula was changed and the high comparability thinner wouldnt work.
No worries about that, everything is still the same :)
Best decision ever! I hate those jars.

Hi! when exactly I could buy the new series? I'm very interested in the the new civil range!
Best to mix paint and thinner in separate container first. Also, use cheap hardware store lacquer thinner to flush your airbrush afterwards.

Bring back the jars!!!!!
I like the air brush but i don't see it on the website. Is it new? Will it be sold?

So is this same the GEN 3 line? That's all that seems to be available for the WWII late US Navy and USMC paint set.

Hello, thanks for your comment. With the change of bottle format you will get more paint for the same money. We hope you like the idea. :)
Hi...I was wondering....what is the diameter of the new bottles?

Sind in den neuen "Containern" auch die Mischkugeln enthalten ?

gracias pensé que era un modelo nuevo dadas las piezas de color azul......grazie pensavo fosse un modello nuovo visto le parti anodizzate di blu
defently easy and faster to use with the droper. :D
I liked the old jar :( why did you have to change it
Is not about the colors of course... is about the jars
