I guess I'm looking for something for total beginners- how do you figure out how large a chunk of hair to coil? How do you get the hair to actually coil around your finger instead of twisting into a strand? Why do you start coiling it in the middle of the strand? How do can you tell whether to coil clockwise or counter-clockwise, especially on the back of your head where you can't see? How do you get the curl to come off your finger without unwinding it?
You know this with practice ❤️ .. we are not doing the back. The bottom half is not finger coiled. The top half, you move upwards 👆🏽 you start the could in the middle to get a good grip, but you coil 4-5x so that the whole clump is coiled. important thing is to start, start on wet hair, and start with the right hair products, and practice makes perfect ❤️
@@anat.5000 you’re right! If you have some time, you must watch my “vintage” finger coiling tutorials 😅🤣 you’ll see how far my hair and I have come - a realistic journey and I hope that encourages you to keep going - you’ll find them in this playlist here (hard to miss with casual cover images) - ua-cam.com/play/PLpFfRKgdgRkno1Jg89O83eqG7z4dj14uP.html&si=VeArY3H-pi-7hu4b
