Thank you. Very helpful. I used hyaluronic acid in the past and it made my skin look crepey and drier. I learned to apply it on damp skin but have t learned how to be able to use vitamin c along with it. It’s amazing how the hyaluronic acid makes fine lines disappear 🪄
Love love love…your tips are always so helpful. Off topic .. since you live in Toronto as well and love makeup as much as I do .. I was wondering if you’ve heard of Lisa’s Cosmetics Sale? It’s AMAZING! They usually have 2 warehouse sales a year, but they have online shopping as well. They sell Nars, Shiseido, Laura Mercier etc.. Obviously not everything and not all products, but a lot and so much cheaper. Just thought I’d pass that on
Great video, I will definitely do this from now on. I have sheets with instructions for my daily skin routines, so will include this as well. Your skin is absolutely beautiful 🤩🤗 have a great day 🌹
I recently watched another video of yours (am /pm routine) and you said to use the marine Hyaluronic acid before the vitamin C /resveratrol - Ferulic acid - which one is best ? I’m sorry I’m new at all this and want to do what’s best.
Many vloggers extoll the virtues of a product. But it's useless if not applying correctly in a routine. Please continue your explanations of when and how. Great video!!
Can I use The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin + HA serum in the same routine as Timeless 10% vitamin c? I know the alpha arbutin has some lactic acid in it so I wasn’t sure! Also which order should I apply these if it’s okay to mix? Thanks for your help!!!
A lot of brands say in their directions , and other dermatologists say to apply Vit C to dry skin. Apparently water neutralizes it or renders less effective due to higher pH? Thoughts? And you don't let the Vitamin C absorb and dry out before misting again?
The pH of vit C serums is super important. That’s why Skinceuticals has a patent, & charges so much for a bottle. The low pH prevents the Vit C from oxidizing in the bottle before you use it (preservative type idea). I tend to agree w you about not adding water into the mix. I apply to “damp” skin, as in right after washing & allowing to air dry. I doubt there’s significant oxidation that occurs during application, but I prefer to be cautious w it.
@@KristinA-xv4yk Lab Muffin has a video about making your own Vit C serum from powder L ascorbic acid. It involves dissolving the powder in water. Makes me wonder how water would really make Vit c unstable especially in the context of applying to damp or even wet skin.
What if I also ice my face after cleansing.. would it be cleanse, ice face, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and lastly moisturizer?! Also is it ok if my moisturizer has spf 30 already in it? Thank you ❤
Hi, thanks for this video. if you are using polyglutamic acid and nicinamide, would that go after the hyaluronic acid? please write the order. Many thanks
I have a question please. I recently subscribed to your channel. I have heard that vitamin C is an unstable product. Since that is true, how does the store bought vitamin C stay stable until used? I make vitamin C at home every week, 20% strength. And I make it fresh every week. I have never bought it from any brand, so I am wondering how does it stay stable for more than a week, until finished? Would be interesting to know your thoughts on this. Thanks
The pH of the formula acts as a preservative, as does the addition of ferulic acid & Vit E. UV resistant packaging helps w oxidation from sunlight, & pump bottles help w O2 exposure. The only Vit C serums worth a damn are Skinceuticals, Drunk Elephant, & *possibly* Timeless (possibly bc they don’t give a ferulic %). OR! Homemade weekly or biweekly, like what you do!
Please can you help me i have moisturising sérum (pH 5,3-5,8) that contain: ( 3%hylaronic acid 1% ceramide complex & 0,5% extoine & 0,2% madecasoside) & I have the geek & gorgeous c glow ( ph 3,2-3,4) and a moisturiser.. how to layer them which one go first ? How much time between them depending on the ph & is any on damp kind ? Ps:They are both water based the c glow transparent & the moisturising one white very light creamy
Great video as usual! I am a man a Huge beauty junkie...as you already Beauty has No gender✌ i'd like to ask you...can i aplly Vitamin A on damp akin? I also use The Ordinary Pycnogenol 5%, can i apply it on damp skin? About Pycnogenol i asked you because it's anhydrous product as you know. Have a Great day, greetings from Athens•Greece!
I am a beginner, do I need to use vitamin c serum everyday morning ? I am putting vit c serum first then hyalurunic acid. The problem is it’s feels like peeling off. I am scared to continue. I just started use 😣.
Am rountime am using klairs vit c serum then plum hylronic serum mouistriser then sunscreen nd pm rouitne plum glycolic acid toner naicinamine serum then hylronic acid and mouistriser but i got pimple...
Thanks beautiful 🙏🏻 so I’ve been using this step wrong always did the hylauronic acid, then vitC/peptide then a bunch more steps haha 😆 Okay I’ll try reversing the first 2 steps thanks (it does get confusing) 💕
Interesting.. the ordinary / deciem recommended to use hyaluronic acid first then vitamin c.. but for some reason the vitamin c gets some serious pilling
You can yes but I find Hyaluronic Acid can pill in general depending on other products being used with it and ingredients. If you are experiencing pilling with the Cerave mosituzer try using something else and see if you get the same thing. If so, it's your HA.
I am loving all of these demonstrations ! I always follow you’re advice for my skincare routine and the benefits to my skin has been great! 😘
Love that🥰🥰

Try rose water spritzing.
Also people with redness in skin, like you, should apply aloe Vera to decrease the redness.
this is prob the best method for combined skin it glows and clears my whole face including my dry jaw and forehead
Yay I've been doing it the best way! Thanks so much for clarifying as I see this question A LOT!😘
Yay! You are so welcome 🥰
A dermatologist said that use vit c after cleansing on dry skin, then toner for the hyaluronic acid and then the later products.
I appreciate this video so much! I love the step by step. Thank you!!!
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video 💗
Thanks so much for this. Do the products you recommend have HA with different molecular weights? I hear that's important?
What are your thoughts on using Organic cold pressed Avocado oil with Organic with Organic Rose Hip Seed oil as a moisturizer?
Good for oily skin? The ordinary hyluronic acid serum?
I think vitamin c works best on dry skin
Moist skin makes it penetrate better
You are not supposed to use Vitamin C on moist skin.
@@prettypoppin_552u mean oily skin? Pls suggest wat goes good for oily skin

Nano recipe is Korean skin care line which sell cosmeric ingredients. I love their product.
Loving the color on you…and your vase x

Hi should we use these at night routine or morning or we can do both
Grateful for your knowledge and helpful tips. ❤

My skin normal to oily... can I use vitamin C serum?
Because my skin v dull and no glow... Plz rep
My skin was really damp and I applied that way but I will remember next time
Plz one video for naicinamaid
I thought you had to wait in between before applying?
The vitamin C seems too harsh. Perhaps use it less frequently?

How do you use the cleanser
But isn’t vitamin c water soluble ? So spraying before it after won’t effect the vitamin c ??
Thankyou I have rose water spray is that ok ?
Yeah that works!
Thank you! Do you use sunblock?
Yes absolutely I do!!

i use garnier vitamin c serum then hylronic acid and after nicinamide and last sun block everyday in the morning is this good this routine?
Sounds good to me 😉
Can I apply plant derived squalane after Mousturizer for more hydration?
I would apply it before moisturizer
@@SincerelyMissAsh thank you
Question and I also add niacinamide in same morning routine ?
yes of course.
Hey Ash, how many times did you say “Hyaluronic Acid” here? 8 billion times? 😀😀😀
LOL Omg I know! Trust me I couldn’t edit them out even if I wanted to 😜
Great video
Thank you!!
Do i have to wait for the Hyaluronic acid to dry before applying moisturiser?
No you want to apply moisturizer on top of the HA when your skin is still damp.
Would you apply the buffet from the ordinary before or after the vitamin c?
I don’t use peptides with vitamin c as these can potentially conflict. I keep them separate for maximum results.
I would sya use copper epptides 3 times in week without vit c
Interesting.. the ordinary / deciem recommended to use hyaluronic acid first then vitamin c.. but for some reason the vitamin c gets some serious pilling
If I do it at night time can I put my night cream with serum
yes🥰
Are you also still using resveratrol with your vitamin c?
I do yes!
Can I use under my eyes as well ?
You can but just be careful as everyone has different tolerances.
can you use cera v moisturizer on top of hyaluronic acid. i feels like it pills for me

What was the name of the sunscreen?
I didn't mention a specific sunscreen but you can use whatever one you love.
Do you use vit c and hyaluronic morning and night?
No just occasionally in the morning.
And exactly when to apply makeup?
After sunscreen
Does this also apply to glycerin?
I would still apply it to damp skin also.
