I bought my Monstrick stand a couple of years ago. After much research, I chose that stand due to my back and neck pain from a car accident, that has left me permanently with back issues. I bought the old Omanik quantum frames back then, and last year I bought the new side bars. I live in the US, I have always received my products within a 3 week period. I love the versatility I have with the Monstrick stand. It suits me, because I have to be very careful how I position myself with the pain. It has been a godsend. Thank you, Teresa, for doing such a thorough review. I love Omanik products, amd will continue to buy them. Now you’re enabling me to get the side stretcher bars lolol😅
Theresa, I LOVE my Omanik frames! A TOTAL game changer for me was, I believe it may have been in your video visiting Arizona, AZ Stitcher sews a pocket at the top and bottom of the linen for the thin rod to slip into. The pocket makes loading the linen a snap! Plus, I only need to turn the linen over about an inch, I am not using nearly as much linen selvedge.
Teresa I love your video thanks for sharing but my question what pattern you are stitching the name & designer, would also love to see it finished. Thanks
I started with Needleneeds frames and stand, but went to Quantum for stand and one frame. I prefer their stand, the Monstrick even though it is larger, but do still like toe Millennium frames, but would not buy them again because if the issues you have highlighted about wait times and lack of customer service. X
Great video Teresa ❤. I recently received my first quantum frame and love it. Thinking I’ll be going down that darned rabbit hole and purchasing more sizes and looking at the stands as well. I’ve been lucky to find a shop here in the USA that carries these frames so the delivery time was fairly short (about 2 weeks). I’d better jump on ordering more now that you’ve reviewed them…..because now everyone will want them 😂.
Aren’t they the best thing. Been using quantum frames for a long time. Such a wonderful company, Anton & his Dad are great too with customer service. The quality is 👌🏼 I have the older model & newer version of their monstrik, just love their products.
Love the frames with side tensioners, for years I have been frustrated by working on fabric that is unevenly tightened. Great review, thank you. It is also good to see you moving quite easily, it seems your back issues are less painful if not over. Happy stitching
Loved the video. I've been using omanik for years. I have the monstrik stand, and I consider it my 'prize possession' 😀 This year I treated myself to the new style side bars because of compatibility moving forward, but I also bought 3 sets of different sizes of the old style scroll bars, just so they work in any set up. Drooling over the desk stand the last few months tho lol. Great to see them in use, and your chatelaine!
I have two different sizes of scroll bars ane one set of the old type side bars with the stretchers. And love using them. I wonder if they will sell replacement black screw mechanisms with the new tops, as I really love the idea being able to do a 1/4 turn. I'd you find your works well on your needle needs stand. Ihave a similar cheaper version but the frame is really to heavy for it, but love that you can just flip it to get 5o the back.
I love my Omanik frames! I only have the old version but will now have to look at purchasing some new version side bars. I also bought the Monstrik floor stand made by Omanik earlier this year and am love using that also.
Thank you for your tutorial. Funny but I always have the frame the other way around. So your back is my front, is this wrong. And thank you for now I also now I put my fabric not right in the frame. You never old to learn. I am 74 years and still stitch especially haeds and Omanik is my life saver. Thank you and love your channel.
Hello Teresa. I love ALL your videos. You're such a joy and inspiration, and I've learned so many tips from you. I have one query about the way you stitch 10x10 in the diagonal. I notice you don't feather the blocks to avoid column lines. Do you stitch full crosses horizontally, or do you railroad the stitches vertically? I notice you are quite strict sticking to a 10x10, and I'm quite amazed you have no lines. I really value your opinion. Thank you, and 👋 from Melbourne, Australia
I have omanik frames the new and old version side bars. I love the new side bars and the ability to quarter turn. I purchased their floor stand new version and absolutely love it. Their customer service and turn around times are amazing xx
Wow Teresa, Omanik certainly kick Needleneeds into the shade! It’s such a shame a British company are so dire …..non existent customer service, will definitely purchase Omanik in the future.
Back in Sept I was actually going back n forth between the two. I ended up ordering millennium frame. I know the wait time is long but that's fine. However my experience was that omanik was more expensive =( has anyone else had this? Also in several videos about omanik there is a terrible loud squeaking whennyou tighten the frames. I figure the all wood millennium was a clear winner. Can anyone advise or add to this? Thanks!
On January 8, 2023, I will have been waiting two years for my millennium stand. If I had known it would be that long I would have gone elsewhere. Customer service have answered my inquiries each time I asked about the prolonged wait time.
@Dana oh gee =( mayeb it will be like the volke potolky where it just shows up one day. That's what happened to me on my stand. I had forgotten/wrote off the thing and it just appeared 0.o
Loved the video, so informative! I currently stitch in hand on a piece of fabric that is about 4ft wide... Too big for any frame. If I did decide to do one of those pieces that require beads or holes (lol words are not good for me this morning...) then I definitely will get one of the Omonik frames. That floor stand boggles my mind tho. Does anyone have one? Or I will wait to see what you think of one if you get it. Thanks :)
Have you seen the pattern dressmakers daughter by mirabilla its like cricket collection 4 seasons but 4 seasonal dresses but it's one pattern instead of 4 separate ones
Sophia from Omanik has her own youtube channel, and she herself stitches Chatelaine mandalas. I am new in mandalas journey and learned a lot from her. Also it is a reason I am watching your channel too :D I want to buy those frames but they are quiet expensive especially ordering to USA.
@@kseniaa.496 If anyone cant find her through a google search I had to go into actual youtube and put her name in. I couldnt find any english ones but I got the subtitles to auto translate. I will watch her video after I finish Teresa's newest video.
I do still use them and love them - that said it can make the frame a little heavy if you flip to end your threads, that said I am hoping to get the Omanik floor stand and then it will not need to be lifted it just rotates round like my Mantris table stand.
@@TeresaLittleStitcher Thank you for giving me your thoughts, I saw you using your mantis in the live stream. The Omanik stands are so expensive here It is going to cost me $400 just for the side stretchers and that is buying through a Australian LNS
Well i think they are roughly the same in weight, maybe the Omanik ones are a tad lighter - but not by a lot. I think having the Omanik stand makes it easier as you don't need to lift the frames to get to the back of your work.
You have the most beautiful house, especially the kitchen!
Looking forward to the comparison! Great video. You are just bubbling with joy over the new frame. Good on you!

Great video Teresa, I've been using them for several years now after boring Emma's frame.. love them, tension is great. Xx

You gave a great overview. You could do infomercials.
Thank you so much, I bought a couple of these and was very confused by them, you’ve helped me no end, and will now start to use them. ❤

It would be nice if Omanik would sell replacement screw section of the side stretchers.
Teresa I am very interested in the frames and the Monstrik stand. Do you use a stand with your frames?
Yes - I have a lowery in the attic and the needleneeds stand. I have just bought the omanik floor stand. Xx

I look forward to all of your videos 🎉🎉❤❤
How do you hold up your frame?
Do you put these frames in a stand to stitch then?
They look amazing!
[Hey JoAnne|] I'm using a needle needs stand and the frame sits on the arms currently, but i'm looking at the Omanik stand I think lol
And, as of right now, none of the stands are available. I just looked at the website!
I will have to wait for the next batch then 🫣
