- From Liberia’s Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to Malawi’s Joyce Banda and Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma in the Africa Union - many African women have defied rhetoric and achieved what was once unimaginable: influential leadership roles.
But while Africa has made strides in addressing gender inequality, current women leadership maintains that there is still much more to be done to break the tide of discrimination and disempowerment.
So then what more can be done to further the agenda of women on the continent? And what progress has already been made by Africa’s women leaders?
Beatrice Marshall and her panel of experts delve into this issue, on Talk Africa!
