Just something I noticed about the wheels, there is a tiny bit of chrome that discolors the rubber tire when you squeeze it on. I found by putting on the tire from the backside so any discoloration won't be seen on the outside of the tire when it's put on the car. Another tip is to soak the tire for like 5 minutes or more than the 2-3 minutes the instructions state as it makes the rubber even easier to get on the wheel. Then a can of compressed air around the edges of the tire and wheel meet will blow out any water that got caught in the tire. I have pack 7 ready for assembly but took a break to finish up my 1701-D build.
I just sat down and in one week did packs one through six. Also watched the first nine Bond movies, so about 20 hours build time. I must say I am very pleased with the quality of this build over the Eaglemoss version. It has gone together very smoothly with only a couple of issues I was able to easily solve.
I do like how they give you pretty much all the wiring on this one, AND they even guide you into how to make them tidy. It's even better than what they did for the Tumbler. Of course, now we need the ultimate in convenience: a model where you get all the screws at the beginning, and you install and tidy all the wires like you did here.
Wow, another really amazing subject, I must say theyve really gone full on with those wheel rims, they look like quite a build on there own. But geez, those rims look amazing!😊
I love how ahora deals with their builds!! Easy fast!! Wayne have you been aware of the debacle with fanhome ecto -1 ( a pure disaster when it comes to the shipping of parts( 3-6 months delays and a a team that basically has not been able to give us answers. A real shame!! Most of us are stuck in issue 25 ( parts 90-94)
I ordered the Fanhome DeLorean in November and STILL haven't received the first pack. Fanhome sent out an email this morning apologizing for the massive US shipping nightmare but offered little as to when it will be fixed. I don't want to start building a car only to have it discontinued before i finish. At least Agora guarantees that won't happen.
Darren mentioned it below, but I'd also like to ask... re; the mufflers, I know one of the two mounting studs was key-holed, which in effect would force the direction, but I'm curious.. would it have been possible to cut off the key-hole on one of them and flip it around. It really offends my sensibility to mount a muffler with the screws showing when if seemed possible to mount them so the screws would have been facing themselves, and thus not show. The mufflers appeared to be symmetrical, but maybe not?
Wayne is there any way of rotating the inner exhaust box around so the the two screws are inside facing the the box... ? ... Fantastic building as always 💪
WOW Wayne you sure can spoke them wheel rims fast...lolol I like your test of you saying and now to step 45 twice... I do that all the time to hear myself say something or hear it played back to me ..lolol I'm still debating this build... I just don't like the "large" license plates on it because their digital... Oh... please see if you still know of that guy that wanted to sell the Ferrari Formula 1 kit so he could buy this one... Well best regards mate... it's all lookin' good from here...lol
thank you very much for the fast respont. 💖one last question about agora edition.. the front lights seems like they don't close properly at photos is it like this? or also the real design is like this?

You should be using your Mike Lane sludger tool to fit the carpets :)

I am in awe of your carpet laying skills, that would have made me so nervous to even try.
