It is a beautiful song. Only the ending disappointed me a little bit. I would have preferred a little different ending, that the song ended maybe with a guitar chord or something like that.
I think he meant that he never really cared about having the world down to his knees when she went along with him. All he cared about was having her there with him. I might be wrong though
