Kenya's Equity Bank targets small businesses in its growth strategy

Kenya's Equity Bank has ramped up its pan-African ambitions, with the Democratic Republic of Congo being the latest addition to its geographical footprint. The bank, which currently has a presence in six countries, says its targeting small businesses and sectors such as mining and plans to grow its customer base to 100 million in the next few years.
