I was looking forward to this video ever since I saw the trailer, and it did not disappoint! I feel like the terminal intro takes a bit of the thunder of the great environmental storytelling of the animatic, but it also adds to the story, so I think it's a net positive. The powers and moves look amazing. The only thing I liked more in the animatic was the music. While this animation has good battle music, the music of the animatic conveyed the sadness of the entire situation better. The reaction to being hurt shows the different characters: Both escalate, but Beau (pink) immediately stops to reflect after she sees the sign crumble as a consequence of her actions, while Kali (blue) collects herself far quicker (or is entirely unfazed) and turns up her power even more. The "I love you" mouthing at the end and the heart their streaks draw on the sky while they are fighting are also nice touches. To sum up: Huge thanks for the entire team for their great work! I'm already looking forward to seeing more :)
