Thanks for the tutorial video. Would you by any chance have pictures showing the difference between using the acid wash and sealing right away after tiny bit of sanding?
Mark Pearce yes for an acid wash you can either go 20:1 or simply leave on for less time. I personally prefer a simple sand with 320 wet or dry for a cream finish.
If gfrc top are routed or etched into, are the fibres exposed? How does exposed fibre react to acids when producing a finished sealed top? Thanks, this is great stuff.

It’s a good video but the class needs to quiet down so you can hear the instructor
Crystaline waterproofing completely seals concrete
Is this still your preferred way of finishing or has anything changed in the last 5 years? Very informative btw. Thanks.
Nathan Turner the acid wash and quick 400 is out preferred process unless doing exposed agg of course
Very informative. Any differences in finishing if you want a cream finish vs. salt and pepper?

If you grind through the face coat then yes they will show. The fibers are glass so no reaction with acid
If you needed to grout any pin holes would you do this first or after acid wash?
After the acid wash
Aliens from other planets use this.
Will this remove tiny trowel lines?
I bought 38% muritic acid, what %number should I get after mixed with water?
Do the fibres show up in the Finished Product? GFRC tops.
No. The fibers float just off the surface so they are not visible
Don't know if this was a free class or not, however pretty rude bunch of people.
what a noisy people,,
just adding that the work was done beautifully but lost interest or something
