True Sophomore folks. 19 years old. If and when he puts on muscle and gets bigger, it'll be fucking over. He has the chance to be an outstanding NFL QB. You dont have to be a slow, unathletic pocket passer to play in the NFL anymore. The game is changing, younger, more athletic dual threats are becoming the face of the NFL (Cam, Russell Wilson, Mariota, Winston, Dak, etc). Jackson will be right up there with those guys someday!

Eth D I agree, the NFL has finally caught up to the skill level of these dual threat guys and not misusing them. The offensive coordinators of today has learned how to tailor their system to fit the qb instead of the other way around. Imagine Vick in a system built for him like Brady had with patriots. The Texas qb is a prime example of how talent can be wasted if a team is not equipped to harness a guys talents and maximize their abilities.

I usually dont give compliments in the comments but I've watched so many of your highlights and the fact that you don't have shitty music in the background and actually just play the highlights from the game unlike the other 99% of these shitty highlight channels that ruins videos with their shitty music. that made me want to say keep up the great work.

For everyone comparing Jackson to Vick really needs to look at the tape again.
Vick was basically a 5-11 195 running back with a rocket arm.
Jackson is a quarterback first, runner second. And he's built in the mould of Randall Cunningham: 6-4 215, 4.4 Jackson: 6-3 205 4.4

      @JustBombsProductions  7 років тому

That's not necessarily what I was implying. Let's say I did speed up the plays and kept the audio, it would've sounded funny in the sense that the sound would not sync up with the play. Like the sound of the QB hiking the ball would either be before or after the ball was hiked and the same goes for when the player scores a TD. In this case, the announcer would have announced the TD way after Jackson scored.

largec you're only saying that because you think he can't play from the neck up and you think he's not smart enough to read defenses because that's the stereotype of the black athletic quarterback but I don't see that in him, I've seen him make NFL throws even though most of his reads are half field reads making it simple on him... he'll be just fine as long as he learns how to slide in the NFL.

Antwan1398 Dude, you'll never make it as a NFL talent scout. This kid is leading the Heisman race and you're talking about him not being that good. Who the hell did YOU play college ball for?
      EXACTLY.

A quarterback that loves to run . . .Cam Newton tried that and now gets cheap shotted constantly. RG3 was injured beyond repair.Michael Vick played last season and nobody noticed.Running QB's don't last. If they can run great, but if plays are being designed to use their running it's a problem.I don't care how well he runs. Let's just look at his throws. He does a good job there, but a lot of these highlights had the defenders apparently forget what they were doing. I don't know what he can do against a real defense, so I'll have to take another QB over him. Preferably somebody with a style that can actually last 10 seasons.

Master Ill Is not that good without his legs.
He does a great job on the run and his best throws come from it.
But he doesn't go out of his way to run nearly as often as the others do which is going to help him out.
My issue is the longetivity. Can he be a great QB when he gets too old to be a running threat? Well early on in this season he got a mild injury that took away his running for a bit. He did not look good. At all. He was mediocre at best. He's good now but I have to question his longetivity, especially with the teams inclination to ignore the O Line during the offseason.
No running QB will ever be considered as great as Peyton Manning because they won't get 17 seasons of glory. At best they'll get 10, and that's not enough to get close to the greats.
It also kind of hurts the team when the high salary QB goes downhill earlier than he should.
I'll stick with my Andrew Luck's and Dak Prescott's.

Bolby Ballinger RG3 was injured due to a shitty Redskins team rushing him back when he wasn't fully healed.

No arguments from me. As a pro prospect there's little to be desired. I like Sam Darnold a lot more as a future nfl prospect. But I do disagree with you on Russell Wilson. Who's shown great ability to throw from the pocket with great touch and accuracy. It's unfair to look at this year where he had an ankle for first part of the season.which would affect his throwing also not just his mobility. But ignore past seasons where he's been healthy and excellent from the pocket just throwing.

in terms of precision he is probably better then Vick, but to me Vick played in a while at more aggressive era of football, and still dominated.

He better get bigger because he is skinnier than Bridgewater and that dude has been getting fucking folded in the NFL. hes crazy good in college but if he is one a piss poor team in the NFL and can't be protected I smell an injury prone career for this dude. he's such a beast though, wish him the best!
