Funny story. Syracuse's coach saw Lamar coming down the hall the following year after this game at the ACC Day get together. As he went passed Lamar, he reached out and hugged him. Then he looked at a few of the Syracuse players who were with him and said, *See? He can be touched."* 😅
Yoooooooooo I died laughing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hell, what he did to Florida State the following week on Game Day pretty much won him the Heisman. These scouts don't know how to think outside the box because they are stuck on tradition and not progression. Lamar changed the game.
Still get goosebumps watching highlights from this season. No matter how this season ended up going, Lamar was electric. So glad that he's silencing his critics in the NFL this year.
How did NFL scouts and experts watch this game and go: “this guys gonna suck in the NFL” 😂 I was sooo hyped when my Ravens got him, it was like Christmas. Thank you haters, made my dreams come true. Now we just need Tavon Austin to sign a deal and come back home
This guy should have been the unanimous lottery pick after this game. No opinions should have changed. You can watch just this game and see everything you need to see. He’s the best college football player we’ve ever seen. He just played on a garbage team. He put together like Reggie bush and cam Newton and a QB who can actually sling it all in one.
i remember being at taco mac back in 5th grade and watching this game on the tv with my football team, i remember being so infatuated by what i was seeing, lamar is truely and icon
Jadyn Hendricks if you're talking about Vick now then yeah Lamar might be faster but I'm talking about Vick in his prime when he was in college and when he first entered the NFL before getting locked up.
He’s not the greatest college football player in the history of the game !!! Did you see what LSU did to him ??? He got absolutely hammered by LSU’s defense in his Heisman Trophy winning season, they made Jackson to look awful in that game !!!
For all the Jokers saying "he's a great runner but...he's below average as a passer.." and "he'll never pan out in the league with that skill set.." He's a freaking true sophomore. You have to give him time to get better at those skills. *News Flash..* Your precious Brady's and Manning's weren't all pro QBs their entire careers. They got better over time with coaching, and in-game experience. Peyton threw 28 picks his first season in the league for Christ sake, and Tom "Terrific" was carried by his defense until the third title. All I know is one thing. This Brotha is RAW! Both as a talent, and as an unfinished product playing QB. If this Brotha continues to get the proper coaching, that continues to work on his fundamentals of playing the position...but not also changing those RAW athletic instincts that the God naturally possesses? Sky is literally the *LIMIT* for this Brotha.
Anyone else notice at 2:17 at the bottom of the screen Bal vs Det(even tho it’s mlb) on a Lamar highlight and years later he’s actually on the team and has a chance to play the other team in a Super Bowl
This the first game I saw, I didn’t even know who Lamar Jackson was before it but it was so obvious he was gonna be a superstar. I remember Syracuse qb tried to copy Lamar and hurdle a defender the next series and got stuffed 😂
1:38 Mack Brown shut up,Lamar isn't anywhere near as big as Vince Young and VY didn't have speed like Lamar no where close.Lamar has the athletics of Vick maybe not the overall arm strength which is tbd but he's more accurate than Vick for sure.
If I was his coach I would develop him under center and in the pocket asap not allowing him to run in practice for longevity cause he's going to the nfl and please learn to slide because then he will truly be unstoppable ask VICK
@Sammy...It all depends on who they put around him. Hell, last season in the AFC Divisional, the center couldn't even snap the ball correctly to LJ and his receivers were dropping passes. Lamar is a BAAAD MAN (in my Steven A. Smith voice). But the more talent you surround him with, the more defenses have to worry. He's a great player, but he can't do it alone nor with minimal talent at his disposal.
@@Kelkasworld I’ve seen a lot of college football games. I’ve never seen anyone play like him in person. It was a totally different speed than anyone else
Naw. As a runner from that position. The God Vick was G.O.A.T. (check out his run against Boston College). But this Brotha is the closest I've seen since him. And he's a more slightly more polished passer, than Vick was at that stage of his career.
"Are you kidding me with this guy" "Ridiculous" "This guy's rolling, RIGHT NOW" "50/50 ball" "Lamar Jackson, somehow, finds alley" "So frustrating" "These guys CAN'T allow big yardage" They realize he's amazing, but really in their eyes, profitable, so they slightly & gradually exalt his game amongst the other stars. All while hating even more
And I've Stanford's rb is like Reggie Bush. NEVER. In what world? The commentator even hesitated saying it, then had to pause and reevaluate the lie he'd just told and life in general. But I've never heard Manziel is a BETTER Vick, let alone, Michael Vick. Not possible.
DeadMerc no I have been a long time fan of Michael Vick and I haven't seen any QB replicate the moves and speed of Vick. Jackson reminds me of Vince Young but a little faster.
Imagine what his stats would've been if he didnt have those five drops. Radcliffe had a guaranteed 50 yard touchdown he dropped coming outta the backfield.
610 yards... cheesus... this was not a good day to be a Syracuse fan 🤣🤣 But oh well, my Bills got revenge for the cuse in playoffs last year when they beat the Ravens and held them to 3 points 😁😁😁
Fantastic college player but currently too small and has no zip on his throws. Vick had a fastball this guy throws a change up. Looks like a smaller but faster Vince Young. Could be an awesome slot WR in the NFL.
I'm not going to say he's not good but I'm not impressed. The reason why is because this Defense clearly sucks ass. The whole Louisville team is running the length of the field on almost every highlight clip. However he does have some talent. Vick could run around defenders pretty good at a pro level. I once saw Vick make 2 pro defensive players run into each other. He definitely has some speed but I also seen Johnny Manziel look like God in college and like a highschooler in the pros.
Manzel was great, played against great sec talent and could have been a great product if he didn't smoke drink and snort himself out of the league. However, the stuff Jackson is doing, has never been done before, even against good competition like FSU; he looked like a man amongst little boys. Think of people like RG3, remember how good he was his rookie year in the nfl? RG3 never did stuff like this, never. Jackson will win the Heisman this year, he is doing things that are unprecedented. I have never seen anything like the kid, Vick RG3 Manzel even Newton, never did what Jackson is currently doing week in week out.
Taylor Hurst I was talking about this game particularly. But I get your point. I can't say how good he will be. I know he's good but I can't predict what he'll do in the pros
Lawrence Hampton JR oh i understand what you mean then. Since an average player can look great pleying against mediocrity. Recruiters obviously didn't know how good he would be at the college level. However, I am by no means an expert, but I think the chances are pretty good that LJ will be a fairly dominate player in the NFL. Similar to how Newton was his rookie year. As long as he keeps developing, remember he is only a sophomore, which is scary, because if his game continues to grow who knows what he will look like in a year or 2. Imagine this kid as a senior? Louisville could win 2 natys with this kid playing. Btw, I'm not even a fan of Louisville, I'm actually a Gator, but I got to give credit where it's due. Are you a Louisville fan?
Jay Harris Johnny M. Won the Heisman trophy and was a great college player. He could have been a great pro player if he wasnt such an addict. His addiction to drugs and alcohol is why he is out of the league, it wasn't his playing ability. Actually, he was quite productive when he did play and showed great promise, maybe you didn't see enough of him, because manziel could play football. And if he wasnt an addict, he could have had a nice career. What about him did you not like?
He needs a lot of work to be an NFL QB. He literally makes one read and follows that receiver the whole time. That won't work in the pros. Plus he's small like RGIII. He'll be injury prone just like him. Enjoy college while you can I'll say.
Yeah he under-threw that one long bomb, that gets picked off in the league. he threw it off his back foot that's why it was short. He'll have league {NFL} QB coaches to help him with his footwork though. He's very very raw, but his skills are undeniable. I watched this entire game in shock. This game alone is all NFL scouts needed to see.
They ignored it all and said he should switch to WR LOL
Hell, what he did to Florida State the following week on Game Day pretty much won him the Heisman. These scouts don't know how to think outside the box because they are stuck on tradition and not progression. Lamar changed the game.
And yet 31 teams said “nah, I’m good” lol crazy
He's like that NCAA character that you upgrade to 99 then fuck up everybody with
Chase Banning I was just gonna say that 😂😂😂
He’s playing on all madden while their on rookie
😂🤣😄 😆😂🤣😄 😆😂🤣😄 😆

The "Oooooooohhh's" from the crowd when Lamar hurdled that player. That's game recognizing game right there. 😁
This was the first time I saw Lamar play and I knew he was special. Most talented Qb in college I’ve ever seen, more talent than manziel
I lost it when he hurdled that dude
Logotzip Shit was ridiculous he makes every defense he plays against look slow
How did NFL scouts and experts watch this game and go: “this guys gonna suck in the NFL” 😂 I was sooo hyped when my Ravens got him, it was like Christmas. Thank you haters, made my dreams come true. Now we just need Tavon Austin to sign a deal and come back home
Ryan Antonellis I said the same thing!!! Tavon Austin is a free agent this year....his speed next to Hollywood would be crazy
bro when my jags (which had an INSANE defense at the time) passed on him.. i was like wtf man. 2017 jags D + lamar i wanted it so bad lol
Hell yea
He already a 2x mvp now
Made it to the big game and came up short
I remember this being the game when I realized that we had the best player in the NCAA

My favorite Lamar Jackson game even over that Florida state win
Now he in the league bout to win MVP and leading his team to the playoffs. The league haven't even seen this side of Lamar yet
Dude has the best ball skills ive ever seen
A lot of athletes have nicknames, Allen Iverson was "The Answer" Lamar Jackson is "The Problem" and no one knows how to solve it #L1C4
Adrian Broner is The Problem, but I feel you.
Lol na. He already has a nickname: "Action" Jackson. Although it's not original at all.
Fred Jackson was Action Jackson, but hey, if he keeps this up any name will work.
Bills figured out how to solve it in 2021 playoffs. 😁
The way he cuts tho... No comparison come to mind accept USC Reggie or Mike Vick. Nasty.
Peter Warrick-ish too God.
ever heard of Devin Hester?
No. Not Vick. Vick was faster and much more shifty. Jackson reminds me of Vince Young in a way but a little faster.
Jadyn Hendricks so Jackson runs a 4.2 40.
Jadyn Hendricks if you're talking about Vick now then yeah Lamar might be faster but I'm talking about Vick in his prime when he was in college and when he first entered the NFL before getting locked up.
Blessings and protection to you Lamar as you play your heart out, Blessings my brotha Blessings ❤️🖤💚🙏🏽❤️🖤💚
He's not Michael Vick 2.0, he is Lamar Jackson 1.0
Seems like a good QB. Hope he makes it to the NFL.
I can easily see him going to the playoffs in the NFL !
4 TD's in 11 minutes is just unfair.
Lamar is the “ real deal.”
Lamar Jackson is by far the GREATEST college football player in NCAA history and no one is close!!!!
He’s not the greatest college football player in the history of the game !!!
Did you see what LSU did to him ???
He got absolutely hammered by LSU’s defense in his Heisman Trophy winning season, they made Jackson to look awful in that game !!!
I love lamar but hold it.
Barry sanders
Reggie Bush
Tim Tebow
OJ Simpson
Bo Jackson
That’s my QB. If we beat KC this week we go to the SuperBowl! Go Ravens. Love you Lamar
This freak of nature really went 32nd overall
Lamar was having Ankles for dinner with a side of spicy tendons
fast as lightening and that hurdle tho😱💪 sheesh the whole crowd said ooouuu like when somebody get crossed up basketball
Lamar was a problem then and he's a problem now. Love that kid
He's a running back and a quarterback
1:16 one of the most underrated calls ever lol
Watching this after that beast performance against fsu
This dude is probably the best QB in college football right now. Louisville you guys are definitely a playoff ready team.
As someone who was at this game…I will never forget that day…we just were in shock by what we saw
If he gets drafted by a team with a line....... Boi's in trouble
RAVENS FLOCK🤞🏽 BIG TRUSS

this guy is scary...
Philipp Lenertz got that one right I knew it from the start of his sophomore season in college he was gonna be a beast in the nfl

Thats what his coach did an article on USA mentioned how in the offseason he worked on making better reads...
Had to double take! Those are video game stats!
He coulda had like 9 touchdowns but they just slowed off the gas
Helps too that his WR's are really good. This looks like a damn videogame.
It's crazy too becuz he's a great thrower too, in fact I think he cuts better than Vick and as good as reggie
that kid is a super human
whats crazy is he is the best QB but even crazy is the best Running back and its not even close

- Herschel Walker has been regarded as having the best college football career by many people, but I would go with Tony Dorsett or Barry Sanders.
Are you going to make one for this fsu game?
...So .... he can throw to wide open receivers. Damn good runner obviously
his receivers are wide open because he's a damn good runner... obviously.
Right !1 Defense has to have TWO spies on him taking them out of coverage.
Recognize their hate. lol
Hardek AMotherFooJee I mean is he supposed to throw it into double coverage. Stop hating and appreciate greatness

he's going to be the number 1 overall pick in the nfl draft

Michael Vick 2.0
